I went in to use my 15% off coupon and found wonderful large bath sheets for $8. What a bargain. I will be back soon.

I've had mixed experiences when shopping here, but it's definitely a solid four. Let's face it;…read morewhen you're shopping at Gabe's, you don't expect boutique service. You expect great prices, a huge selection, and sometimes a bit of a mess. As long as you keep your expectations in check, you will not be disappointed. One of the things you may not realize is that they have a wheelchair to use in the store if you've got someone with you in need. My 87-year-old mom gets along with a walker most of the time, but this store is pretty big and it's easy to get worn out at that age, so we sometimes use their walker when we are there. if you're looking for great brands at amazing prices, you've got to check out Gabe's. Even my picky husband was impressed by their really large selection of high-vis jackets and shirts. There's a really great plus-sized section, a huge selection of outerwear, and a lot of really great clothes for kids, men, and ladies. I'm pretty sure the teens/juniors have their own section too. Some of the brands I've seen if you're looking - NFL (Go Bills!), Guess, Buffalo Outdoors, Ariat, Yellowstone. There are tons of great shoes, too, if you're looking for brand names at cheaper prices. One tip when shopping here - go when you've got the time to really look. Give yourself a solid 90 minutes if you want to find some fantastic bargains. Then when you're done, walk next door to Ollie's to complete your bargain shopping outing.

My wife saved hundreds of dollars, but then - she loves scrubs at Gabe's! I wasn't left out either, picked up a few shirts for myself at an incredible price! Of course the Oreo chocolate mint cookies - wow! With all that free parking came lots and lots of people, but the line was managed very well, better than any store. We were told at our point in line it would be 45 minutes, but we were in our car with a car full of stuff in 35 minutes! Walmart can't do that! The store has a huge selection, great deals, friendly staff and it is clean and organized! Sign up for the club and get even better deals!

Once upon a time, I lived just 6 minutes from this gem. Now I live 45 minutes away, and I still make the trip. Why? Because walking into this place is my version of therapy. Yes, I'm the weirdo who openly sniffs the books. No, I'm not sorry. The selection is outstanding. I won't swear they have every genre under the sun, but I will say I've never left empty-handed--and I read everything from thoughtful nonfiction to weird fiction to "why is this cover so dramatic?" suspense novels. They've also got a fantastic large print section, which makes me look like a great daughter when I stock up for my mom. (Let's ignore that I walk out with twice as many for myself.) The staff? Lovely. Friendly. Helpful. Basically your dream book club, minus the pressure to finish the book on time. If you're into books and warm vibes, you're already one of the gang. Highly recommend. Bring a tote bag. Or three.

I left with a literal armful of books today and it's probably for the best that I had set myself a time limit for browsing. The sections are clearly labeled and sorted by author. If you're treasure hunting for favorite authors, bring a list, because you will want to look for ALL of them. Bonus: easy to see pricing, and very reasonable. Plus the staff was friendly of course! (and they have a step-stool if you're short and want the books on the top shelf because of course I do.)
