They also have a nice selection of stickers and some other fun book-themed goods (mugs, candles, etc) so it's a nice place to find gifts for a book lover. This isn't a place to spend hours in but well worth a stop (especially if you are also checking out Rust Belt across the street). Pricing is decent and staff is friendly.

Calm and friendly vibe. They have notebooks and tons of book-related accessories too. I even found a wax seal and the wax to go with it, for fancy letter-writing. Signs indicate that several book clubs meet here so if you're looking for one, this might be a great place to start your search. Parking is available on the street - and there are other great businesses within close walking distance too, a coffee shop, plant store, brewery, and more. It's also right along the bike path for an easy break during a ride.

Aisles are clearly marked with genre so you can find your favorites quickly (or ignore the signs and browse everything!). I also loved the jar candles near the front counter, which have lids but you can take those off to smell the candles. Any of them lean toward a perfect "rainy day with a cup of coffee and a candle" vibe. Staff was friendly. The whole shop gives a very inclusive energy and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Parking is a challenge; find a parallel-parking spot down the street. (If you're familiar with the Elmwood area that will not be a surprise).

Just had second experience with AfterGlow Books and Kristina, I don't know where to start except…read morethat I'm a fan. I first met her at a pop up close to me and said I just r wanted to love reading again. She suggested Emily Henry and she was spot on, I'm just picked up my 3rd and 4th title by her. The pop up also had cute stickers (hot ghouls read books - had to get it!), amazing smelling candles, just very cute book themed gifts. Finally made it to her store in Delaware and it's cute AF. I went in on a Sunday and it was packed. I love the store, she had the titles I wanted and even told me about a launch party they're having for the title being released later this year. Honestly cannot recommend her and this store enough, and clearly I'm not the only one because she's got a following. I'm looking forward to attending some of the events I've seen on the website.
