After our delicious meals at Cheddar's, I decided to check out the store as we had passed it on our way to eat. This place is huge! Nothing fancy, no nonsense, and no frills but they offered amazing deals on a great selection of items. For me, it was sensory overload!!!! It definitely has a warehouse vibe with some items like toiletries stocked on shelves in their shipping boxes. The young man at check out was kind, polite, and helpful. He suggested I sign up for Ollie's Army, thereupon he signed me up right at the register. I will get notices, discounts, and other perks. They picked it up and brought it back saying springs were adjusted. That did not make a difference. Bre told me chair recliner was not meant to support a dog in my lap. They will not take the chair back and let me exchange it for the recliner I test sat -- which seemed stronger and by the same company (and was a little cheaper). Gosh, if it won't stay upright with a 10 pound dog on your knees, imagine a grand baby couldn't set in my lap either!!! This was an $800 chair, so it wasn't cheap! I have a $400 recliner I bought 5 years ago (elsewhere) with a foot rest that stays upright with three dogs in my lap!!! I would not buy another stick of furniture from them!!!! I only bought this chair because the leather on my old chair is worn (from COVID wear) out. Since Bre wouldn't help me, I can only berate the store and the furniture manufacturer. Bre- the dogs are sitting on my lap with their heads at my knees. I'm 4'10" so my knees barely extend beyond the seat, not down on footrest. When my 5'8" male friend sits it the chair, the foot rest drops toward the ground too Only acceptable solution for me would be to give me the chair (not rocker) I intended to buy even though it is cloth upholstery.
