Checkout ended up being a little more complicated than expected, but instead of getting frustrated or making us feel like we were holding things up, the employee was extremely nice and patient with us. They took the time to help get everything figured out and made what could have been a stressful situation feel much easier. That kind of customer service really makes a difference, especially when something goes wrong that isn't necessarily anyone's fault. I really appreciated how friendly and understanding the employee was throughout the whole situation. It was one of those interactions that leaves you with a much better impression of a store. Even though we had some trouble at checkout, the employee handled it so well that I still left feeling really positive about the experience. Overall, I was very happy with our visit to Publix in Pigeon Forge. The great customer service and the way the employee treated us made this a five-star experience for me. I would definitely shop here again when I'm back in the area.

I saw that there was a Publix in Pigeon Forge and knew that's where we'd need to go to get our picnic supplies! Because we had flown in (and didn't have picnic basket on our pack list), I knew that we needed to get a small cooler to keep our drinks and sandwiches cool on the warm spring day. Fortunately, Publix had a nice variety of small lunch box size coolers and we found one for a reasonable price that was perfect for what we needed and would collapse down for easy packing to bring it home. We then made our way to the deli and got fresh, deli made sandwiches made with boar's head meats and cheeses. They're fully customizable and we very much enjoyed them! We were also able to grab some fruit, pretzel crisps, boar's head hummus, and bottled beverages to round out our picnic. Everything was great, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed a beautiful picnic in this beautiful area. One note would be that the deli does get busy. We were there in the ease of spring (ie: no big National Park crowds) and we still had to wait in a bit of a line for our deli sandwiches. So, just something to factor into scheduling. That said, we didn't mind a bit and the sandwiches were worth the wait. Get to it!

The new store also has an expanded section of health and beauty related items that rival any drug store. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. With the addition of automatic doors you will no longer struggle getting your cart full from check out to your car.
