Nice little coffee shop with a homey feel inside. There was a nice selection of drinks and treats. Today was a simple cardamom infused Olla coffee and it was a tasty choice. The service was quick and friendly. An easy choice to stop in for a quiet place to relax or catch up with a friend!
Olla express is a must on your list of coffee shops and coffee! Everything here is absolutely delicious and very versatile! They have great Cpg selection and I love how they also help support other businesses through their business! Truly a testament of entrepreneurs helping entrepreneurs! The service is always great and vibes are great for a chill study session or reading or to grab coffee with a friend! Their piloncillo syrup is great and coffee beans are great to take come and have olla at home!
Best Coffee Find that nobody knows about!!! Their coffee is served at Texas's ONLY Michelin star restaurant!!! Cozy, quaint, bright, coffee house in a house. Knowledgeable, friendly, family, staff. Michelin star taste and quality of coffee. Was here a couple weeks ago and made a point to return. I still wonder why there is not a line out the front door at this place. First cappuccino had piloncillo syrup they make from the cone shaped sugar. Second drink was egg nog cappuccino Third drink with garnish is pan de muerto with appropriate orange sugar and dried blossoms to represent corn husks. "Nobody"
Street parking on a non busy street certain times of day. Great customer service . The interior is cute and cozy. Looking forward to being cold and coming in to warm up.
I have been meaning to go to Los Patios and I'm so glad I did as part of a local coffee crawl. Olla express café is located right in the front of the shops as your facing away from the back parking lot. I thought it might be only the truck at first (which was closed) but the cafe is large inside and beautiful! They have a big fireplace, plenty of seating, and games you can play. The coffee was delicious!! I tried the Cafe de Olla Frida with Anise. I hung out here for a little and it's such a cute vibe, all the staff are very smiley and helpful. :)
Super cute spot! I live near so this is walking distance and it's a great coffee shop. The coffee is really good and I love that they do it their way. I love that everyone speaks Spanish and English really well. They have a variety of choices and I'm excited to try the rest! The outside patio area is beautiful and a great spot for working or reading. Great prices, great atmosphere, and great pastries! The staff was very nice and very helpful in making sure I got a good coffee based on what I was craving.
We went to Ole express Café brick and mortar today and our coffee was amazing. This is an old house turned into a little coffee café . The inside is decorated so cute and it's very warm and inviting you feel like you're sitting inside your own living room, sipping on a cup of coffee. Bro, you coffee lovers out there this is a must try coffee café. They also sell a lot of their own coffees. The flavor of Café de olla is created by different ingredients and spices including ground coffee, cinnamon and also piloncillo, which is a traditional non-refined sugar from Mexico. I suggest trying The Frida Iced Coffee with cinnamon piloncillo .
This place has amazing coffee. I first found out about them during the coffee festival in 2019. I walked up and got a cup of the Frida coffee. As I was walking to the cream and sugar station I took a sip. It was perfect the was it was given to me. I didn't add anything extra and I drank it black. After years of not having this coffee I could still remember how good it was. I found out that they had a new location and I checked them out on a Thursday morning. The Frida coffee was still great and it didn't need anything extra. They actually have a brick and mortar store now. It's a very nice place with outdoor seating. They have the only coffee I drink black. They are open on Wednesday and Thursday from 8am until 3pm. They are open on Friday until Sunday from 8am until 4pm. Definitely check them out when you get the opportunity.
Great little space for a coffee shop. Indoor seating with tables and fireplace as well as outdoor seating on a patio covered with trees. Lots of options for your caffeine cravings .. as well as those who decaffeinate. We ordered the Cafe de olla Valentina (Coffee with cinnamon, clove, ginger, orange, & piloncillo) and the Socorro (Coffee with spices, piloncillo & Mexican chocolate) . We both enjoyed the combo of flavors and the richness of the coffee. I wish we could have stayed around to enjoy the patio. The staff was very nice. Really good prices.
Family owned. Cool to see catfish Nev and Kamie visited here . Latte with Mexican mocha syrup was delicious! Cookie was a nice accompaniment. They also gave free bread just because our order was taking a little longer. Very sweet employees and lovely vibe! The surrounding area is a great place to hangout.
Cute little spot. Nice patio outside. Quaint & cozy inside. Device was friendly and patient. Ended up purchasing a couple packs of single serve, pour over, mezcal infused coffee. I haven't tried it yet. But it sounds so interesting and I'm looking forward to trying it. Ordered an horchata cold brew to go and it was yummy. Perfect sweet, perfect coffee flavor. Definitely like this spot! Latina owned & operated, serving up delicious hot and iced coffee specialties & even some non caffeinated options. Support local!
First time coming in there are a bunch of great places in the area. Menu and staff made it really easy to order and adjust sweetness.
Who knew this neat little truck was less than three miles from my apartment? Not me, but now that secret is out, I plan to make more stops. Olla Express is parked at a storage facility, and they very cleverly have a storage unit open near the truck where patrons can pull out tables and chairs. I met up with my friend SA Lunchador, and I got to try a latte and their butterfly pea taro horchata fresca. Not only were they photogenic, but they were as delicious as they looked! My hot latte came with a complimentary cookie and that made a perfect duo for an early morning cafecito break. The owner, Andrea, is really sweet and even took my photo! I really loved it here, even though I made an embarrassment of myself by not knowing any Spanish. :( I love how authentic the menu is and even more so, the piloncillo syrup is incredible. I am loving how almost every neighborhood in San Antonio has a fantastic little coffee truck now!

I love everything about this coffee shop. Walking in you're treated to some very nostalgic pieces, just like walking into Grandma's house, but Grandma in the 80s/90s. Everything was beautifully laid out and organized. The vibe was chill and cozy. The barista was wonderful, helpful, and patient. I immediately went for the tahini coconut latte after having seen clips of a NY cafe offering a similar drink. My fella went for the Mulato latte which was a latte with a blend of mole and a cortado. All three drinks were 100/10. Easily. The cortado was silky smooth and delicious. The tahini was just creamy dreamy; the sprinkle of sesame seeds were a delightful little pop. I wanted to stick my fingers in the mug to get the last bits of tahini, but I restrained myself! The Mulato was fantastic. A bit on the sweet side, but the chocolate and spices were smooth and flavorful. The rest of the menu sounds incredible and I'm definitely coming back for more of the offerings. read more

A beautiful café with a homey feel. The perfect place to spend a calm morning or study. There were multiple rooms inside with different vibes (darker corners, bright rooms, cozy rooms, quiet rooms, lively rooms, etc.). The menu was simple, but creative. I ordered the cold brew Cafe de olla and it was everything i was craving. I can't wait to come back! I was worried about parking, but it wasn't an issue at all when we arrived. We parked on the road in front of the café easily. read more

This is such a cute little coffee shop! The owner was so lovely and helpful with her suggestions. We were able to sample some flavors and chose the horchata cold brew and the monjita cappuccino but made it more of a latte. Loved them both! Will definitely be coming back!! read more

Short and sweet review. The staff is funny and really helpful with recommendations. Parking is on a one way street. It gets a bit busy but it's a great place to have a seat and chill. I've tried many things on the menu and can say the cafe de olla latte (hot) or cold brew (iced) are my go to. If you're about consistency, give this place a try. read more
A workmate recommended this place. I decided to show up on a Friday before noon. It's a quaint little place. There's only street parking. it's adorable! I ordered one of their coffees with a croissant ham sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The Cafe de Olla I ordered was spicy, and I love spicy. It was perfectly sweetened, not too much. The batista was patient and friendly... great service. I had a great experience. Come check them out for yourself!! read more

Sweet little coffee truck with authentic mexican style coffees! They are located in different areas depending on what day. Love their refreshing menu with different flavors to choose iced or hot, caffeine or not. We got iced americano and cold brew with piloncillo syrup and cinnamon with a bits and pieces of mazapan candy! I loved it and want to come back to try the rest of their menu. The iced red beet latte sounded interesting! read more
First time here for the both of us. We dined in on a Sunday, early afternoon. I found myself more for the patio seating (than I did for their coffee), with the antique-like water fountain which was quite stunning. The temperature that Sunday was absolutely beautiful. We had a reservation at Comfort Cafe and decided to use our wait time and explore the area. The staff here were pleasant. We were extremely pleased with the service. Overall, great company and great time. read more

Hidden gem, literally. This place used to be a coffee truck and now opened at Los Patios. The address is 2015 NE Interstate 410 Loop, San Antonio, TX 78217 keep driving through the forest until you see their old food truck, the shop is hidden behind the rock wall. The place is absolutely beautiful outside, tall trees and plenty of greenery to feel like you're not in the city if you can get passed the sound of cars on 410. Their house specialty is Cafe de Olla (coffee that has been brewed with spices in a clay pot). I ordered a Cafe de Olla Valentina which is brewed with cinnamon, clove, ginger, orange, and piloncillo (hardened molasses). Super tasty! If you've never had authentic Cafe de Olla, this is the place to try it out in San Antonio! read more

We tried Cafe de Olla - I got a Valentino & husband got a Michaela. Daughter had Mexican hot chocolate & son opted for iced latte. All yum! Husbands was stronger coffee but I enjoyed mine. It was sweetened w/piloncillo. It had hints of orange. We sat outside by fountain but inside there was plenty of seating. There was some plush seating and several tables. A hidden gem! We'll be back! read more

The tequila infused cafe de olla had a very original flavor, but I think I would get it without the tequila infused. The cafe de olla had very rich flavors and with a little milk it was very smooth. The place itself was very comfortable, it was like a little house with a cozy feel, cute mirrors everywhere and little tables and couches. They were also selling little knick knacks like cups/ jewelry which was cute. The service was 10/10 . read more

While waiting to eat breakfast at the comfort, café, a person from the store, hola express café café offered me a sample of their coffee. The coffee was flavorful. Bold had hint cinnamon and was slightly sweet. I then went over to their coffee truck and had a latte. It was delicious you could taste the almond milk coffee essentially it was perfectly balanced and it came with the cookie. If you're in the area of 410 east by Starcrest, you should go to los patios and find this coffee shop you'll be pleasant Lee surprised by the balance and taste read more

Chill place to grab a coffee and breakfast. It's inside of a big, old house. There's plenty of space to hang out. Their drink menu has a lot of variety. We had the fuego latte, golden milk, Mexican biscuit with jam, and zucchini bread. The fuego latte had a nice hint of chili, but nothing to overpower the drink. It's a nice change of pace. The biscuit and bread were quite filling. I'm a big fan of this place and will be back to try different things on the menu. read more
This place is a hidden gem! Located inside the backend of Los Patios. A coffee shop with hot tea or cold. The place is inviting, just like being at home with a hospital staff, you have a warm relaxing atmosphere with lemon scones, banana bread or pecan pie to choose from for desserts along with coffee, you can't not to stop & experience this place! I had the hot hibiscus tea with agave & banana bread. Did not disappoint! read more

Great location with a lovely view. I really enjoyed the outdoor space and vibes of what seems to be a hidden community within the city. There are other eateries and shops. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the coffee. They didn't really have many baked goods either at the time I went. They had three conchas and one croissant. I had the croissant and it was rubbery opposed to flaky. Good thing is, right next door is Comfort Cafe and further down is Naco 210 ( highly recommended on Yelp). So for sure a neat place but the vibe of the staff at the the coffee house was underwhelming and somewhat apathetic, which reflected in their coffee and food. read more
