    Extra Virgin House Blend ($27)

Oil My Life One of three locations (the other two are in St Helena & Palm Desert) for this boutique specialty food shop that specializes in everyone's favorite fruit oil, Olive Oil. The Good: *Beyond EVOO, they have all sorts of other gourmet foods like flavored balsamic vinegar, syrups, and candy, just to name a few. *Friendly service *Taste before you buy on a lot of items *I really liked their House Mix EVOO *Cooking wares like cutting boards and wooden spoons *Gift baskets The Meh: *Prices are, well, Carmel-by-the-Sea prices The Ugly: *Website is full of lots of "Coming Soon." Is it, tho? Conclusion: Nice little shop that's worth a stop if you like this sort of thing.

Stumble across this shop while walking around. So many selections of olive oil and more. Located on the Main Street with street parking only. We came in the afternoon and the employee said no olive oil tasting so that was a bit disappointed. I wanted to try before buying Also, asking for help from an employee was not a pleasant experience for me. Felt like she did not want to be bothered. Then she walked away I got the a bottle of toasted Parmesan garlic & herb dipping oil, Kalamata olive & sun dried tomato tapenade, and artichoke spread. It's a bit pricey

Our second visit here and we stocked up on all of our favorite olive oil and vinegar! I finally figured out how to open them with a corkscrew! The old lady who works here is crabby and militant and did not give us any samples.

Nice shop in Saint Helena that we stopped by on our trip through Napa. We bought some lemon jam which was DEELISH! The food quality has to be high as the clientele have very discerning taste buds (not me BTW, just the others). We have added this store to our list of places to get gifts for ourselves and others.

Super charming shop in the Napa Valley. Whether you are on the hunt for something in particular, or are just browsing, you'll likely find something you'll want to take home with you. I really enjoyed all of the local spreads, balsamics, olive oils, etc. so many unique snacks and dips - and samples! You can try so many things before you narrow down what you want to purchase. We were only in town for a weekend, and my carry on was already pretty tightly packed so while I was thoroughly tempted by several things I had to leave empty handed. If I was there longer, or lived nearby this would be a regular spot for gifts, or parties.

Such a pretty place with affordable olive oils, balsamic vinegars and more! It's a small store but lots of stuff!! Get the aged balsamic it's was so tasty as well as the lavender and Meyer lemon shrub, so good to mix with drinks. The service was also great, they were all easy to ask questions too and had lots of fun chatting with them on what to get.

Awesome selection of gifts and artisan food. My friend and I are visiting Napa Valley and chose this place to purchase the bulk of our souvenirs because the majority of the food products are made locally with artisan quality. The majority of the food items have spoons and napkins in front of them in order to sample. They have delicious dips, savory sauces, dessert sauces, plus high end olive oils and vinegars. If you spend $150 or more, then they will ship your items to you for free. My purchase's qualified for the free shipping and I love not having to worry about the hassle of packing heavy food items into my checked luggage. The staff is super friendly and the store is a great place to find true locally made high quality food and gifts!!

One of my favorite shops to stop in when visiting Wine Country! What you will find here: - pour-your-own olive oil (and samples!) - vinaigrettes, balsamic, plus dips and sauces - cocktail mixes and shrub (a bit too tart for me but unique!) - unique gifts and items for the kitchen Friendly service, samples so you can taste how dang good their dips and mixes and oils are, and a bright interior that will make you smile.

Josie and Jean at Olivier! A great store with an amazing selection of culinary boosters! Oils, Balsamic Vinegars, and much much more!

Expansive store packed with tasty selections of flavorful oils, balsamic vinegar, chocolate sauces, mustards, BBQ Sauces. Beautifully crafted wood utensils, gadgets, containers... plan at least 30m-1 hour to search and taste!

This place was so cute and honestly one of the highlights of my trip in Carmel by the Sea! Everything in here was so cute and and so aesthetic and you get to try everything before you buy it! The lady here was so sweet she kept asking if we wanted to try anything else! I ended up getting cute hat shaped pastas and a jar of passionfruit puree! My friends got olive oils and balsamic vinegars and pastas!

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

It's the only place I know that has white sharp cheddar cheese, which I love on sandwiches, and I always get their Guini juice on the side. That said, I was a bit taken aback by the pricing on my most recent visit. I completely understand that prices go up, but my veggie sandwich was listed at $13.75 and I was charged $17.75. It turns out certain breads are an upcharge, but that wasn't communicated--I only realized after I had already paid. I also asked for pepperoncini and was charged $3, even though it's supposed to be $1.75. On top of that, it looks like I was charged for cucumbers, even though they're listed as part of the vegetarian sandwich, which feels a bit misleading. I've never had this issue before, so next time I'll definitely double-check pricing or order online since that's always been accurate for me. I still enjoy the food, just wish pricing and add-ons were more clearly communicated.

The latte was smooth and roasty with the cold foam adding a creamy sweetness and the whipped cream an extra later of richness. Pretty solid. * Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte w/ strawberry foam, extra shot of matcha ($9.25) - Batched made, not hand-whisked - Cannot adjust sweetness It looks nothing like the layered drink on their website and IG. Also, the color was dull, so either the matcha was oxidized or it's poor quality. Sadly, it tasted like a Crumbl cookie in liquid form. Even with the extra shot of matcha, there was no matcha flavor and tasted like an incredibly sweet strawberry milk. I saw this cafe pop-up in several IG posts, so I knew I had to check it out. It doesn't have a Michelin star, but is run by a Michelin team --- so to me, tomato, toMAHto. I got 3 items, all exquisite: 1. Honeycomb Iced Latte - This drink is exactly what you would expect; a proper iced latte topped with a substantial amount of sugary honeycomb. A few swirls later, and my entire drink was sweetened just right. There's nothing like the taste of sugary honeycomb. 2. Everything Knot - This was my highlight of the visit. I am from NJ, so I'm a bit of a Bagel snob, and yet, connoisseur. The way this Knot was layered and crafted made all right in the world. It was topped with fried scallions, and stuffed with green onion cream cheese. The worked said it must've been meant for me...it was the last one of the day! 3) Pain au Chocolat - Visually stunning. The layers around the pastry make it crackly and so decadent. The downside? The actual chocolate! It was a skinny line of chocolate in my pastry, barely non-existent. Clean, curated interior, great energy, and the kind of pastry case that immediately makes you abandon any sense of restraint. Come hungry because the menu rewards excess. Some items stood out more than others, but honestly, everything ranged from good to excellent. The coffee was dialed in, the pastries felt intentional instead of trendy, and the whole experience had that rare combination of polish without pretension. Absolutely worth returning for Parking? Lot We had: Coffee (5/5): exactly what good cafe coffee should be. Balanced, flavorful, and structured enough to stand up to the sweeter pastries without getting lost. Smooth profile, clean finish, no bitterness Bacon Sampler (Benton's, Nueske's, Hill's, Candied) (5/5): sounds gimmicky until it hits the table. Then you realize someone actually thought this through. Each bacon had its own personality, but the candied bacon was the standout. Perfect balance of smoke, salt, fat, and sweetness Smoked Trout Rillettes (5/5): this was excellent. The smoked trout had real depth without becoming overpowering, and the creme fraiche completely changed the game by adding a cool, tangy richness that balanced everything out. Spread onto the bread, it created those perfect bites where texture and flavor all lock together at once Calistoga Crunch (5/5): absolute chaos visually, somehow beautiful anyway. It looked like something your toddler proudly makes during Christmas and you hang on the tree because you weirdly love it. But flavorwise, this thing was seriously dialed in! Sweet, crunchy, salty, textured, layered. Every component worked. One of the better cookies I've had in a long time Strawberry Tea Cake (5/5): dense in the way a good tea cake should be, but still light enough to avoid feeling heavy. The strawberry flavor came through naturally without turning artificial or overly sweet. Simple yet elegant, and incredibly easy to keep eating Pain au Chocolat (4/5): still good, but the weakest of the group. The pastry leaned a little brittle and slightly dry, lacking some of that buttery pull and softness you want from a great pain au chocolat. The chocolate itself was solid, and it was still enjoyable overall, just not something I'd specifically come back for
