Got recommendations from the hospital pediatrician for 2 other doctors in the same institution. But when I checked yelp, I found Dr Kurz with the best reviews. Went with my gut feeling and set up an appointment with him. He made us feel very comfortable. We weren't rushed. He answered all our questions and prodded us to ask more. Not sure why we are called to go in the room if the doctor will still take over 30 minutes to see us. I made an appointment for 4pm and wasn't called in until at least 430pm. Have been sitting in the room now for over 20 minutes. I have an infant so it's tough to sit in a small room for over 30 minutes without having the baby cry for the majority of the time we're waiting. Still checking to see if this place will be a good fit for us. If this continues, I'll have to change to someone who takes scheduled appointments seriously. We had never been to that location. The parking situation is atrocious and lots of stairs or ramp to get to the building. With a 2 year old it definitely isn't super quick and easy to navigate. I took work off to take my daughter. Our appointment was for 3:30. I am pregnant and carried her up all the stairs and took a long time to find parking. We get in to check in at 3:36 and the rude receptionist tells us that Dr Kimberly has a 5 minute grace period (which I've never been informed about and is not listed anywhere when booking the appointment) she said she would check with the doctor anyways. She took 5 minutes to check, the doctor said no and I would have to reschedule. Mind you, the office had one adult waiting in there, otherwise completely empty. Extremely disappointed and sad we will never be back. I think if you're going to have a 5 minute grace period, you should inform clients, especially at a pediatric office, especially at a brand new location that has HORRIBLE parking and lots of stairs. Would've been wonderful to know ahead of time. I am a very punctual person, I am always on time, I just had no idea there would be so many obstacles getting to the office itself, I respect people's time. Super disappointed.
