Disappointing service & complete lack of product knowledge!…read more Don't fall for the upsell on the products. They have to upsell or they'll get written up or have to watch videos and do a write up. But clearly they have no idea what some of the products are they're trying to upsell. I thought Glo Tanning was all about customer service and knowing their products, but tonight was a massive disappointment. I was heavily trying to be upsold on products by a staff member who clearly didn't know what she was doing just to get her commission credit for the night. They sold me on feet pads for my spray tan but gave me zero instructions on how to use them properly. I was simply told to stand on them after I got out of the spray tan booth. They didn't even walk me to my room or demonstrate how to use any of the upsell products I purchased! Which I was advised by others this is what they should have done. When I got out of the spray tan, I was totally confused. After getting dressed, I went to the front desk and asked the blonde employee to explain how the pads were supposed to be used. Her response? She said it was a "personal preference" if I wanted to use them during or after. WHAT? That didn't even answer my question. Why does one side have paper you take off and it's stick. Where do you stick that? on your feet in the bed on the floor on the rug? What? (She did add that the "good news" is I can use them next time). Also, a tip on basic customer service: Instead of just assuming I know where my room is, tell me where to go. Saying "if you go this direction, it's going to be the first door on the back wall" goes a long way. I am highly frustrated with the lack of training and care here. Knowing that their job is to upsell. My bad ... I was tired probably should've asked more questions. Maybe even asked for a demo. I won't be doing that again. Oh, and just as an FYI... the bottom of my feet are dark from the tanning solution wow!

Four months later, I was still being charged. After spending hours on the phone, much of that time on hold, I was denied a refund for the months I was incorrectly charged. The company had the audacity to tell me I hadn't followed the cancel request correctly, when in fact I had referred to my contract prior to attempting to cancel, and had done exactly as was stated in the contract cancellation clause. I ended up having to go to my credit card company and dispute the charges in order to get a refund. Use caution and judgement when signing up for an auto draft membership with Glo. Corporate really needs to look into how they handle their clients, and make improvements on their website to expedite the process so customers don't feel ripped off.

She did not cut my hair or thin it! The "lightening" she did are the 2 random stripes on the one side of my head! She made ME feel guilty for not liking my hair! I said "here is the inspiration pic but I want highlights as well!" that's what I think she was trying to do with the 2 random stripes on 1 side of my head (idfk).... she took pictures after she curled my hair (which it looked good curled when it looked blended)... but straight it looked like ! She had an apt set with my 8 yo daughter for today and she cancelled on me yesterday at 4pm in the afternoon when my apt was at 8am! Literally what professional does that? She had all week to cancel if she wanted! She also got her whole salon involved (except her manager Tracy) they completely left her out of the convo even though Sara had her fix my hair(and didn't fully compensate her the amount she told me she was going to) but that's besides the point! This is my experience! She is unprofessional! She will rip you off! She does not apologize because "her work is amazing" as she put it! Anyways save yourself the hassle and go to someone who actually cares if you like your hair and if you don't they will fix what you don't like without throwing a fit like a toddler!
