I am a new patient to dr Salomon and have always been treated with kindness and a respect. Sussie at the front desk is always busy, however she smiles and greats while busy on the computer. She has returned my calls when I has to call for something. I have no complaint. Dr Solomon is very professional and kind as well. He takes the time to listen and answer questions. I had called the office to find out what was going on regarding the office deciding to discharge a family member from their service. Upon calling and asking what had happened in events, I was quoted what California state laws were before they even talked about what happened and decisions that they made to discharge my family member as a patient. When I told him I did not need to know about state laws and I just wanted to know the events that occurred. They snapped back at me saying that that's what I was doing to let them finish. I it seemed that when I mention the patient's name that the tone has changed and shifted to be a negative already perceived emotion of counter transference to me. They already had their negative opinion of the patient and brought that on to me as well. The person I spoke to spoke to me in such a degrading, rude and disrespectful manner for about 30 minutes or more I feel that their conversations of being correct was more important than trying to deal with the situation. This person that I spoke to was very controlling and wanting to keep the conversation going on there end and hardly let anyone communicate and find out or ask questions and commented when we did interrupt that we were being rude and disrespectful and not letting them finish. It was so degrading that at one point I had to yell at the top of my lungs and cuss out this person Just to get my point across and that is simply not something I do at a spite and it takes a lot for me to go to that. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect from a doctors office from the staff. Please choose to go to this doctor with caution. I don't know about the doctors care, but the staff are completely and utterly disrespectful. They only change tune when we both apologize for whatever we supposedly did, but we did nothing wrong. They accused the patient of being rude and disrespectful to staff without any proof or any derogation of what happened except for them saying that's a patient said to one staff "do you know how to read?" and apparently that was enough to make this other staff cry and go to the doctor instead of addressing the situation with the patient instead and asking questions or trying to work it out they let it continue on until they decided that they no longer want this patient at their office. Do not choose this person as a primary care doctor if you want to have poor staff working with you. According to the patient, the staff were not responses enough to schedule appointments or get referrals quick enough for service or care and that they were trying to follow up many times to get the information needed to get their care and due to this, the staff thus took this as an aggressiveness And harassment. I can only guess the amount of grief. My family member had to deal with this over the course of 2 to 3 years, but thankfully they will be looking for a new primary care doctor after their last appointment. During the conversation with the staff, it was clear to my understanding that they are discriminate towards those of opposite or different genders and have no respect towards anyone that have cognitive or other disabilities. I have looked at other reviews of this office and made note that there were similar discriminatory issues. You can look at those for yourself. It is clear that this office mainly focuses on making fun of or talking bad about other patients behind people's backs and have personal opinions on different people that come into the office and don't really care about the person care and or respect of who that person is. Nor do they have respect for people that are trying to get answers to find out what was going on. I would highly recommend if I was this doctor to get a whole new set of staff the ones that would respect and provide dignity to the patients that come in and out of the office. I have worked in a doctors office in the past and had a horrible doctor to work for and I know it can happen the opposite around with staff as well and this is all coming from someone with a social service background. It is terrible that a family member has to go through this and this and terrible when a family member request for help and that person also is treated with disrespect. We made apologies in our discussion with them just to make peace, but they did not apologize on their side for what they said or did and that is unacceptable and unprofessional. Next time, if they have an issue with the patient, they should talk to that patient and work it out with them. We are not in the hunger games. We are not in high school. We are individuals seeking care in a safe place in the healthcare system and if you cannot provide that, then you do not deserve to work for an office that provides care . There are other places you could work for or maybe not work for depending on how you look at it. read more

Dr Solomon is a great MD! His office receptionist is so unprofessional and rude! This is a big red flag for me. I will be changing my PCP because of this. BTW while I was waiting for a referral she was talking about me in Spanish. Guess what, I understand Spanish and am a Nurse. Very disappointed read more

This Doctor office should be shut down immediately Staff is not nice, they talk about patients after hanging up the phone and even more so when they walk out of the office! Blame results being "late" on the hospitals and on the Doctor. The Doctor is collecting money while only giving "referrals" doesn't even PRACTICE medicine! This office denied me timely access to care when the receptionist wouldn't schedule an appointment to see the doctor for 3 1/2 weeks. By California law, you must schedule within 10 days. They also deny access to basic amenities (ADA) as I was told I had to use the public restroom 3 flights down (when on prior visits I have been allowed to use the in-office restroom) and then return to the office for care. Unfortunately, with the documented Chronic Kidney Disease I have and because I am a senior, I had an incontinence accident and couldn't return, which they then used against me in a complaint to dismiss. I picked Dr. Solomon as my doctor through my insurance and come to find out that he is only in the office one hour a day. I don't understand how a doctor can exist like this so crazy I immediately changed to a different doctor read more

UPDATE: as evidenced by call logs (in original post) messages left directly by me with their answering service were unanswered! Apparently they have more time to get on Yelp to make false accusations at their patients -- rather than answer their actual voicemails that they have requested we leave for them. As another reviewer says, "Absolutely horrible. Everytime i call they never answer." and " So unprofessional. The lack of communication there is unbelievable." Believe that they will not care about basic communication and also your care! I had a necessary and VITAL surgery delayed two years because of this so called "DOctor". read more

No one called me about my preliminary lab report nor my pre-authorization for my diagnostic mammogram. I received a call about scheduling to see a specialist, but I didn't even have a copy of the lab report & had to pick up the report myself. I wanted to go over the report with the doctor, but the admin staff said he wasn't available at the moment & was going to call me back. Also, when I showed up at the clinic, I found out that the office has relocated from suite 326 to 308. read more

Received poor treatment from both Staff and Dr Solomon. Had to switch to a different Dr to get the treatment I was seeking.

I had to get new insurance at the first of the year and was assigned Dr. Solomon and was a bit worried about the reviews. I was very happy with my visit and no problems with any staff member. The Dr. I felt listened to my problems and the nurse was very kind helping with my medications. read more

Absolutely horrible. Everytime i call they never answer. They've been trying to hire a spanish speaking receptionist or nurse for months and nothing thats why my family never calls because they dont know how to help!! And when im there to assist them they are never available to answer. My grandmother has been waiting for them to approve a medication for WEEKS when they said theyve done it and they haven't and the pharmacy cant process it until they do that. So unprofessional. It is so hard to find good doctors who care about their patients these days, but I can honestly tell you that Dr Solomon actually goes out of his way and truly cares about his patients. He has such an awesome staff as well. Mildred and Laura both work at Dr Solomon's office and they always work very hard to get you any authorization you need in a timely manner. Update - I had an appointment to see Dr. Solomon. I was advised that he is still currently only seeing patients via tele-health (online/phone?) due to the COVID situation. I was seen by his nurse practitioner - Desirae Mutuc-Resari. Until Dr. Solomon starts doing in person appointments again, she sees his patients who actually come to the office. She is very personable, pleasant, and willing to help. I didn't see the staff member who was previously mentioned as standoffish and curt. I mistakenly suggested it was the nurse practitioner (Desirae) but it was not. She's great (see above). It was a way more positive visit than the last and more like it used to be before several staff changes. read more
