Food is great and so is the service. Plenty of parking out back and the prices aren't bad.

Very nice restaurant, family friendly. Very friendly Wait staff. Good food, full bar. Efficient service, we all got fed without delay even though the place was very busy. Great environment for little kids. Plenty of parking in the back. Excellent hamburger. They will even serve it rare which a lot of places won't do. Their homemade potato chips are excellent. Everyone in our large group was happy. read more

Oliver’s Pub & Grill - Corn flake encrusted Haddock. So good. Highly recommended. - American Near Me - Towanda, Pennsylvania

We visited for dinner and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. First, I want to say that our waitress appeared to be new and was doing her best. She told us she had only been there six days, and many of the issues seemed to be related to a lack of training and overall restaurant management rather than her personally. The restaurant appeared very disorganized throughout the evening. Food was coming out of the kitchen and staff seemed unsure which tables it belonged to. My friend's beer sat on the corner of the bar for approximately 30 minutes before he had to remind our server about it. Our salads were delivered after our entrées had already arrived. The food itself was average at best. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. The biggest issue came with dessert. We ordered a slice of what was advertised as triple chocolate cake to share. What arrived looked nothing like triple chocolate cake. The icing was falling apart, the cake appeared dry, and it didn't even taste like chocolate. We honestly thought we had been served the wrong dessert. When we asked to send it back, our server told us she needed to ask someone whether it could be removed from the bill. A second employee, who appeared to be a manager, came over and seemed annoyed that we had raised the issue. She insisted it was the correct cake and said she needed to ask the owner before removing it. When the owner arrived, the interaction became even more uncomfortable. Rather than listening to our concerns, she immediately became argumentative and accused us of eating the cake after deciding we didn't want it. The reality is that I took another small taste because I was genuinely trying to determine whether it was the dessert we had ordered in the first place. Eventually the cake was removed from the bill, but by that point the experience had gone from disappointing to unpleasant. Mistakes happen in restaurants every day. What matters is how management responds when customers raise a legitimate concern. Unfortunately, the attitude we encountered from management was far worse than any issue with the food itself. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left us feeling unwelcome and unlikely to return. read more

We love this place. Food and drinks are great and service is wonderful. Always a great place to have our lunch dates with friends.

Food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable.

This is one of our favorite places to grab lunch or dinner when we're in the area. The Oliver's burger and pub burger are some of my favorites. My husband gets the fish sandwich but I'll warn you that the fish they put in it spans the entire plate and usually is hanging over the sides. The fries and sweet potatoe fries are some of the best I've had. We tried the pickle fry app this past time based on our servers recommendation and it was perfectly made. Their dill dipping sauce is addictive. I wish they would bottle it up and sell it. Their rum drinks are missing from the drink menu, but they do have them and made my Husband one. If you haven't yet you've got to give this place a try. If we were local this would be one of our top spots we would go to. read more

Had the chicken sandwich with chips. $14!!! Given the current state of economy I was not surprised. But still a chicken sandwich!! Could of bought a package of chicken breasts at the over priced grocery store. The egg now was cheaper! Still the wings are very good. Service was excellent. Bar tender still does not pour a Guinness properly. read more

Food was good. Don't go here as a larger group. Paid an extra 100 to be together. They would not give indidual bills. Menu given had wrong prices and wrong service charges. All items were not itemized by person. Up charged on sides when menu saidsaid was included. Gratuity was incorrectly calculated. It took an hour for us to split up the bill. Servers said they could not due it due to owner. Obviously, they don't want to cater to groups giving them an additional 850 in revenue for dinner. Will not go back due to requesting checks by party when we booked the reservation. read more

Visiting family in Towanda and want to go somewhere different. Oliver's Pub and Grill turned out to be an excellent choice. We sat on the porch which is now just another room. It had a nice fireplace and unique decor. Food was good and reasonably priced. The service was good and our waitress was very nice and responsive. Our group had steaks, fish and pizza and all were excellent. Would go here again if I was in the area. read more

Very good! After going to another (lackluster) Towanda place earlier in the week, we checked out here. Food was good, the had gluten-free and the place was busy. They had the Olympics going, so that was fun to watch too. read more

The food is wonderful. The ambiance is interesting. The service is okay, but I can't blame the staff because this restaurant is always so busy! I'd have to say Oliver's is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants. read more

Good food at a reasonable price. Bar type food with some "large" meals lates that are fancier type meals. Nice atmosphere and great service. They take reservations! Thank you! read more

Really wanted to try this place...came in, and was seated promptly, a little past 5pm...waited for 30 mins...no one came to my table. Watched waitstaff greet and serve others...decided to leave. Oh well, that waitstaff missed out on a great tip! read more

Better than other options in the area, but still just ok. Ambiance was a plus. The fish in my fish sandwich was much larger than the bun, but it turned out to be very thin, and mostly breading. Service was good, but you will see ants walking on the wall, and one did walk across our table. That alone wouldn't stop me from going again, but hopefully they are aware of the issue. read more

Server was so sweet and we enjoyed our food. We got the pub burger, steak and cheese and fish sandwich. Would definitely go back.

Yummy and quality food, friendly service, good prices, and super cozy ambiance. Thank you for a great girls' shopping day lunch :)

The mushroom chicken was dry and the onion soup had no flavor. The service was bad waited 45min. for our food while people that came after us were served. The price for a piece of fish was over priced at $48! Not impressed with the service, prices, and quality of food. read more

The service is so so it depends who your waiter is which that's normal in every restaurant. The food we have had no problems there. It's really tasty. Just wish the prices were just a little bit low because they are high on the high side. read more

Ate here twice. The Philly cheesesteak could use more cheese to be less dry, and the flatbread was good. Burgers are good too. Packed on weekends so plan ahead. Family friendly. Ambiance is great. read more

The food looks so good this had to look it up on google the chicken fingers looks crispy good the cheeseburger looks good

As always, when I travel to love the local places over the chain food places. So I stopped here. I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked where I would like to set . Waitress gave me the perfect amount of time to choose my drink . As soon as I looked at the menu, I knew what I wanted . The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly. Asked for Medium ....It also had the perfect amount of char . Rice and fries as sides ,both were very good . Plus, rice mixed with the steak juice to add to an already great meal. If driving in the area at dinner time, do not drive past ..My guess this place is packed on the weekends . read more

Very nice restaurant in Towanda. Good food, friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Great food, Great service! Our server Annie was very attentive and friendly! I loved the Nachos!

This is by far the best place to eat in Towanda, PA. The atmosphere and food are better than any other restaurant in the area. They have a really cool enclosed patio, dining room, and bar area that provide a relaxing and decorative atmosphere. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone. The chicken caprese was delicious and my coworker enjoyed the Buffalo chicken flatbread. They have an ample list of domestic and craft beers to choose from and the prices are reasonable. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the interior is really well decorated and is an overall great place for coworkers, families, and couples to eat at. I'm making this my #1 restaurant stop when I'm working in Towanda. read more

Oliver’s Pub & Grill - California Cobb Salad with grilled chicken & Blue Cheese dressing - American Near Me - Towanda, Pennsylvania

We had a wonderful meal at Oliver's. We had several appetizers that were delicious, the side salads were fresh and crisp and the entrees were served hot and were very tasty. My favorite was the mushroom chicken. We went the night before Father's Day, the restaurant was busy but service was still stellar. read more

Go to beer spot in town- 10 to 15 rotating taps, mostly regional selections. They do a good job on the bar classics like a broiled fish, wedge salad, taco, and while I didn't try it, I saw the huge fajita platters go by. Don't waste time on the side of vegetables. Dessert is super sized - such a big portion should be shared across a table of four diners read more

This place, hands down has one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. We are traveling up from Connecticut to pick up our puppy, stopped here and was blown away. Were we live is riddled with hipster style gourmet burger resturaunts. Never thought a middle of no where pub in PA would blow the competition out of the water. Whatever it is that you guys are doing keep it up. I rarely write yelp reviews. You guys owned this one. Thank you for such a great experience. read more

Oliver’s Pub & Grill - Olivers Bar - American Near Me - Towanda, Pennsylvania

Food was fabulous! I had the scallops and wild rice with fresh asparagus. It was perfect! I had a chocolate covered strawberry martini which was delicious as well. Our server was a little over extended but we couldn't get served at the bar and we went to a table. It was very busy as it was the day after Valentine's Day. Everyone was very friendly. I'll go there again. read more

This place is awesome! I would have rated it 5 stars, but when my wife and I walked in initially they would not seat us. They said we needed a reservation at 4:30 on a Saturday in Towanda, PA! We left then called back 10 minutes later and explained we were from out of town. They gave us a table and we had a great meal! All of the seasonal cocktails were delicious! Also the Cajun haddock was pretty good. They have a pretty good menu and I look forward to eating there again as long as they don't shoo me away again. read more

Took my girlfriend and parents here for a nice dinner while visiting. Very nice place in the Towanda area with easy off street parking. We got the Blackened Cod and Broild Scallops with sides. Meals were absolutely delicious and server was very friendly and attentive.
