Great selection of dates, cooking ingredients and foods. Prices were better than the other international food stores. Will be coming back

Clean store. Good quality meat. They grind beef fresh to order. Would recommend calling meat orders in.

Great meats and friendly service. Their meats are locally sourced and the prices are excellent. The chicken they sell tastes terrific.

In fact, my wife and I moved away from the area to Virginia and still drive to down to pick up meat from here.

I loved visiting this place! I wish I had known all of the…read moreproducts they sell in their store, because I would have brought more money haha. They sell meats and dairy (obviously) But also Buck Naked Honey (Best honey I've ever had easily) They also had some avocado oils, sauces, local chips, chocolates, and a few other treats when I was there. They also had some local raw sauerkraut. This is a beautiful property/farm I would like to come back. Again that honey was some good dang honey. This stuff and store bought honey aren't even the same thing. The Buck Naked Honey is hard then melts in your mouth. The honey also smells like various flowers. This is making me hungry I want some more honey now!

This is truly the best farm for meat in the whole Triangle area. Farmer Dan's daughters, as well as one of the farm-worker's daughters, run the shop and they are so perky, professional, and helpful! They offered us free samples of some hot brisket with cheesy grits (holy YUM) and about 8 different flavors of goat cheese (there's even a chocolate one that's perfect in smores). They sell pork, beef, chicken, lamb, fresh eggs, cheese, ice cream, pet milk (unpasteurized), freshly baked cookies ($1 each), Buck Naked Farm honey, soaps, jams, and Adam's Vineyard wine. The prices aren't the cheapest, but you are truly paying for quality meat that is a LOT healthier and tastier than the junk they sell in the grocery stores. Surprisingly, they sell duck eggs from "A Third of a Farm" in Fayetteville, NC (which are super rich and delicious) and a variety of goat cheeses from Celebrity Dairy. We ordered the Jalapeno Cheese and it's sooooo good (and spicy) -- I usually hate goat cheese for its game-y-ness, but this cheese is so smooth! Our favorite products: - Pulled Pork -- we love that you just boil it in the bag and then serve it. Sooooo good! - Ground Beef -- you can really taste the onions, spices, and other veggies that the animals have been grazing on! We love using this for our burger night. - Ribs -- enough said. We nibble them down to the very BONE! I can't remember where the ice cream is from (some local dairy farm), but we ended up buying the Strawberry Cheesecake. It was tasty, but sadly there was no REAL strawberries in it at all... The "strawberry" swirls were just red food dye, corn syrup, and some other random ingredients. It also didn't have any sort of cheesecake chunks in it at all... I really wish Ninja Cow Farm sold ice cream with REAL ingredients.

Although this location is smaller than some other Fresh Market stores, it offers the same open-market charm as other locations (maybe even more so because the smaller size gives a more authentic market feel). The store is clean, well-organized, and never crowded. I also really enjoy the ready-to-cook packaged meals for 2 or 3 (depending on age/appetite) which are very convenient for a quick home-made dinner, but also pretty tasty too. That said, I'm docking a star for one consistent issue: it's often hard to find staff on the floor who are available or eager to help locate hard-to-find items. For a new customer, that can be frustrating. The cashiers are friendly, but with only one or two usually working, asking for assistance sometimes means waiting until they've finished a line of transactions, which shouldn't be necessary in a well-staffed store. A lovely store with great offerings--but the lack of accessible customer service brings the overall experience down a bit unfortunately.
