I stopped by Village Art Café very recently and headed to the café counter (Village Pastries) in the back room which serves up coffee/espresso drinks, homemade baked goods, and crafted sandwiches. Since I already had coffee back at my vehicle, I needed some takeout sweet treats and I went with a Cinnamon Roll and Chocolate Chip Cookie. The homemade baked goods were really good. The cinnamon roll had brown sugar & cinnamon topped with a creamy icing & maple syrup. The homemade chocolate cookie was plastic wrap (homestead label) was soft and slightly crumbly, with plenty of chocolate chips, very sweet.
