When I initially reviewed Desert Moon they were going through some growing pains and were in the middle of interviews for a new one. There were also several other factors at play that ultimately led to my 3 star review. Well, here we are a year after beginning lessons there and I must say that I'm very pleased with our time at Desert Moon, and that despite the initial bumps in the road, everything has worked out really well. Al has always done his best to communicate with us about any schedule changes (holidays, closures, teachers taking leave) and my daughter has really learned a lot. I would recommend the school to other parents.

I approached Al a few months back telling him that I wanted to get better at singing so that I could propose to my, now fiancee. He also suggested that my awesome magical guitar instructor help me as well so that I could learn to play and sing at the same time. Well after so many months of practice and learning, my guitar playing and singing got much better and my proposal went amazingly. Everything was beautiful and I know for a fact, I wouldn't have been able to do it without Al and Carlos. Thank you guys so much for all of your wonderful guidance and help. If you're looking for a school to take your children to learn an instrument or want to learn something for yourself, stop. Just pick up the phone and call Desert Moon Academy of the Arts. Trust me, this is the place you want to be!

I was so excited when we saw that there was a music school in town that not only gave lessons, but,…read moregives my son a chance to perform as well. The set up is perfect. There is a homework station for kids to hang out after school, and multiple music rooms along with a stage for the performances. My son has started loving guitar again, and is now even showing interest in the drums. The teachers and the owners are great! Prices are very reasonable. I'm so excited to see El Paso kids excited about music! Can't wait for the first performance on 12/10!!!!

My wife and I have gotten quite a few piercings over the years and Fox Labyrinth is probably the…read morebest shop we've ever been to. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We did have to wait a little longer than we might have at some other places, but when we think about the personal attention and service that we received it totally makes sense why they do get busy and why we had to wait a little bit. Every customer got the same level of attention and care and that was really nice to see. I also have to give them high marks for actually taking the time to really look at what you're asking for and they will let you know if it's not a good idea due to your anatomy. My wife wanted a new daith piercing or a tragus and two folks in the shop really looked at her ears closely and advised that it wasn't a good idea because there wasn't enough cartilage there even though that might mean that we left without getting anything. Not a lot of shops will do that. Fortunately my wife had some other piercings on her wish list so we got a different ear piercing that she is very happy with. They really listened to and helped her get a piercing that she was very happy with. So, yeah. I would definitely recommend Fox Labyrinth to anyone looking for anything piercing related. Their staff really knows their stuff and that's a great thing to see when you're doing something on your body. They do get busy so don't go expecting to be in and out in 20 minutes (although it might happen from time to time), but be assured that the quality of the service, their attention to hygiene, and their willingness to help you get something that you'e happy with is definitely worth it. We were both really impressed with how well run their small shop was and I am positive we'll be back for future piercings down the road.

My daughter had lessons there for one semester. The quality of teaching (the techniques and the…read morerepertoire) was good, but the customer service was not. The teacher (Mr. Monteros) had too many students and little interest in the lessons. There was also an issue on a class cancelled by him with a very short notice. The director took the teacher's side without any appropriate discussion or argumentation, while saying to his customer "I had an intuition from the very beginning that you would have an attitude". Is it appropriate? For discussing about a cancellation with too of a short notice. The parents were accused of "being rude to the teacher", no proof was provided upon request though. So the business is customer-unfriendly, disrespectful, arrogant. This is what a lack of competition in a smaller city may do to a business.

GI SUPPLY has been up and running, and saving a Soldiers day since I was a mere Specialist, and…read moreprobably even sooner(?)... which for reference is a very, very long time ago. The service is 5-Stars, period. Clayton especially is a man for the people, of the people, and he'll help out Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines alike. The selection is pretty solid - they basically have 1 or more of everything! From 2 versions ago of PTs, to a few (just saw them yesterday) of the newer "Pinks and Greens", and every type of "gear" between. Clay gets stuff in all the time. I've been using GI Supply for over 20 years. When I need something sewn on, created (name tags / dogs tags), or especially when I "lost" some gear or clothing item that the Army wants back - I got two options: go buy it at GI Supply, or, pay 300% mark up directly to the Army. Trust me, GI Supply saved me and my checkbook multiple times! The value is hands down the best! Quick turnarounds, willingness to work with you to your needs, lots of inventory from new to used, and friendliest service you'll ever find - GI SUPPLY is going on over 20 years, it's the best in town, and that ain't changing anytime soon.
