Front desk is supposed to give you a half piece of paper saying to add three numbers to your phone…read morecontact for them to receive medical information. They don't do it. Why three different phone numbers? This is the only medical practice that does that. If not added, these calls show as spam. If you don't answer spam, you won't learn that what was removed was malignant, which is IMPORTANT. After two months, they will THEN send an email and a message about malignancy. They do not leave a voice mail when calling, although it was noted in the records that one was left, reviewing voice messages that go back a few years, none were left. They say they give this info sheet out to ensure patients get the message, but they are not given out. They reject the idea of a sign on or near the wall where the giant tv that everyone looks at while waiting is not an efficient way to get that message out, that handing that paper out is preferable. Nonsense. I've been her three times, wife five-NEVER GIVEN THE PAPER. That's 100% failure rate. They speak of the patient portal. They email new patients about it. NEVER DONE. But a sign where people look the entire time waiting is inefficient.

Oct 05, 2024. AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF DERMATOLOGY PA…read more Dear Meneses and Dr. Rotman, Thank you for your response and for reviewing my account. While I understand that the balance is associated with DermPath Diagnostics, I want to reiterate that I was very clear from the beginning that I needed to be informed of all costs, including any external laboratory charges, before any procedures were conducted. The assurance I received during my visit was that the $278.60 I paid would cover all expenses, including laboratory work, which was done on your premises. I was specifically told that the $278.60 included the laboratory work. If any of your employees made a wrong assumption or gave me incorrect information, I cannot be held liable for that. This misinformation was provided on at least three separate occasions--during my initial call, when I arrived, and during my consultation with the nurse. I was very clear from the start, and you can verify this with your staff. Due to the negligence or bad business practices, the American Institute of Dermatology should be responsible for paying DermPath Diagnostics. I was misled and essentially lied to, despite making my expectations clear from day one. At this point, I stand by my previous statement that I will only be responsible for the charges already paid--$278.60 and $65.85. I will not be paying the $369.52 from DermPath Diagnostics or any additional charges, and I have canceled my future appointments with your office due to these issues. Thank you for your understanding. Best regards, Rafael Pinedo.

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE WOMAN BEHIND THE DESK IN DAVENPORT!…read more I have been going to Dr Rotman in Sebring (1 hour away) for years and then I found out they had an office in Davenport and I was thrilled to only have to drive 30 minutes. I live on the East side of Lake WalesDr Rotman introduced me to his colleague Dr Chris, I believe. He is delightful. On my 2nd appointment I (very embarrassed)had to ask if I could mail in my $10 copay at the end of the month. The woman behind the desk was very nasty and made me 100 times more embarrassed than I already was. At the Sebring office they always wanted to bill me. But I usually paid on the spot. We are going through a tough time which should improve by sometime next month. It's the first time this has ever happened to us. I will go back in November when I have another appointment. But I will be sure that Dr Rotman knows how a long time patient was treated. The 3 stars are only for the nasty woman behind the desk in Davenport. 5 stars***** for Dr Rotman and Dr Chris
