All finishing are in an updated modern style with polished stone floor and walls, as well as blonde woods. Breakfast included. Very nice. Staff attentive and helpful. Very easy access to the Pompeii ruins. Many shops and restaurant on the street within easy walking distance of the hotel lobby. Good WiFi too. Highly recommend you check out the Hotel Forum if stay in Pompeii Couldn't post a separate review for the restaurant, so here goes. We ate in the outdoor seating area in the outdoor lobby. Food was ultra fresh and tasty. First night we shared the "Mediterranean platter. Caprese with prosciutto and melon. Very ample portions. We enjoyed the experience so much we ate dinner there our second night. We shared a ceasar salad and a margarita pizza. Very fresh and tasty, again with ample portions. Included breakfast in the downstairs inside seating area was of ample varieties of traditional breakfast fair and yummy pastries. Stayed in Maiori for a week at the Reginna Palace Hotel. Coming in with a total of 6 people, 3…read moredifferent rooms, I did a lot of research months in advance to try and accommodate the different needs, wants and expectations of our entire group (ranging in age from 9 to 75!) To highlight some of these wants / needs, as they may align with others' and fall within typical tourist expectations: - The hotel is very centrally located: close to different lidos (on the beach), close to the Maiori port (8-10 minute car ride) and right on Amalfi Drive. - Steps away from the main drag, Corso Reginna, that's filled with eateries, cafes, shops and pharmacies. - Breakfast is included: GREAT SELECTION, and absolutely delicious, with LOTS of options, such as a fresh omelette station, a wide variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, grilled vegetables, pastries, cakes, fresh squeezed-juices and COFFEE (each morning, the attentive wait staff brings any coffee one prefers - espresso, caffè latte, cappuccino or macchiato). I have not had a better selection of an inclusive breakfast at a hotel before. Truly a great experience. - The hotel has a lovely pool. Clean and quiet, with a great layout and shape (not your typical boring rectangular pool) that allowed for kids to play in different parts that were shallow, as well as a deeper end part with diving boards and cool water jets. This helped for different groups to hang out in different parts of the pool, which I appreciated very much. Lounge chairs were also plentiful. One of the best pools I've seen in a hotel as well. Moving onto the rooms, they range in size and all seem to have balconies, which I also appreciated. Some views are better than others. We all had rooms with balconies facing the sides of hotel, which didn't allow for the best, head-on direct sea view. Regardless, one of the most important features of the rooms was the AC. The temps were high and humidity made the weather more unpredictable and unpleasant at times, so having a room with strong AC to come and cool off in was AMAZING. Total happiness there and thankful for it. Not only that, the AC actually was strong throughout the entire hotel, with the exception of the stairs - the main lobby downstairs, bar and restaurant and hallways all had very good AC. Lastly, the staff was absolutely top notch. From great communication on WhatsApp months before arriving to ensure smooth booking overall and arranging for pick up from the port to the hotel, to the check-in process and overall experience, customer service and quality of said service overall, there isn't a bad thing to say about anyone - from the staff at the reception, to the wait staff, the cleaning staff and even the pool attendant. Everyone was polite, helpful, friendly, inviting and accommodating. I am sure there are other good hotels in Maiori (and on the coast!) but if I ever return to Maiori specifically, I will 100% stay at Reginna Palace Hotel. Thankful for a lovely overall experience!

While the concierge was very helpful once we asked if someone could come to the hospital, management at the hotel did not care. My room rate included breakfast and I could not walk easily the next day so ordered room service for breakfast, was charged for that since room service breakfast was not included (to give you an idea of how the hotel dealt with it)

The front desk staff were so sweet and accommodating.. they booked me a last minute room and it was for a solo traveler, since I was single, so it was small but adorable and luxurious and with the most incredible view of the ocean and pool. You can see all of positano from your balcony. I love the cool, clean and crisp ambiance here. There is already so much ancient architecture and history in Italy so it was nice to stay somewhere newer that felt clean and fresh. The all white is very calming yet there are pops of super cool art work and coffee table books around the hotel. We loved hanging out at the pool.. you can order drinks to the lounge chairs. And the restaurant next to the pool I went to everyday for lunch. I do wish they had more gluten free / vegan options actually on the menu.. seeing as it's a hotel with lots of travelers of different diets.. but they gave me a delicious fruit plate and fresh gluten free rolls with a side of avocado which I appreciated, and luckily I'm a light eater so this worked fine. The location was great right between Praiano and Positano. And they offer free shuttles to get around since there are no Ubers and rarely taxis on the Almafi coast.. so this was very helpful. The staff went above and beyond with every detail of our stay. I've stayed in world class hotels around the globe and there is always somewhat of a snobbery or just people who aren't friendly but here they were amazing, so kind and made the whole experience perfect so I would definitely return.

We pulled up after a long day of speed-walking through the ruins of Pompeii, hot, sweaty and a bit dusty, to be seated at these really pretty yet somehow cramped tables. The setup was nice and the staff was friendly. They made it a point of making an announcement ahead of every bottle they poured, but we were spread out and the waters' voices didn't really carry. We were greeted with a bubbly and individual charcuterie boards, with more meats than cheeses. The main was a small serving of big tubed pasta (like rigatoni, but bigger...a *bigatoni*, if you will...ha, see what I did there? BIGatoni. Hey, where are you going) in a red sauce. The pasta was super al dente, even by Italy's standards. The sauce was zesty and a little loose. Dessert was a kind of trifle, with fresh fruit and sweet cream in a jar. Each course was paired with a wine, naturally. The wines were good and flavorful, and everyone at the table enjoyed the pairings. We were given a bit of time once the meal was finished to walk the grounds, and I can see how this property would be popular for parties, galas and weddings.
