*Oops, posted to the wrong store location. A week ago I purchased dinner for my coworkers and myself by ordering online via the Olga's website from the Olga's on Washtenaw Rd in Ann Arbor, MI. Our food was never delivered so I contacted the restaurant and they said to contact the delivery company because they had no idea what happened to our order, all they knew was that it had been picked up. I finally found on the website that they use DoorDash. DoorDash then told me to contact the restaurant because I did not use the DoorDash app to buy the food. The transaction on my bank statement shows the purchase as "Olga's Kitchen", so I assumed the restaurant could refund my money. However, every person I have talked to, including the manager, has told me they will call me back after confirming what to do with a higher-up but no one has followed up with me after multiple phone calls to the restaurant. I just want my money back for the service I never received and contacting the restaurant has been of no use so far. read more

I'm surprised to see the mixed reviews. I stopped in here for lunch today as I'm new to the area and haven't had Olga's in a while. The cashier, Chardonnay was super nice and helpful and my order was done pretty quickly. I'll definitely be back again for lunch. read more

We went there around 8pm. The restaurant was empty. Our booth smelled bad. Food quality was not good either. It did not smell fresh. My son's fries were cold like they were leftovers from morning. Overall very bad experience we had. read more

I'm giving a huge recognition to Kevin (host) at this Olga's location. He has impeccable customer service. His friendly and professional demeanor always put me in a better mood after a long day of work . His behavior is always consistent with all customers. Keep up the great work. read more

After a year of being away, I forgot how disgusting this location was. We walked in about an hour before closing - the place was almost empty - which should have been our first clue. Nonetheless, we were tired and hungry and other groups came in after us, so we sat down. The floors had just been mopped with dirty water and there were sticky footprints everywhere. The ladies restroom smelled of sewage, and the entire restaurant reeked of the smelly mop. An annoying alarm/buzzer kept going off in the kitchen (I'm guessing a timer for the fryer) and the cooks couldn't be bothered to turn it off in a timely manner. Food was bland but edible...though we shall see how the rest of the night goes. Service was pleasant but slow and we got the wrong change due from our bill and had to wait to get it straightened out. That's normally not a big deal, except that at that point, all we wanted to do was escape. read more

After hearing Olga's filed for bankruptcy I had a sense of urgency to dine there upon my recent visit to Michigan. You can't go wrong with an Olga's salad, original, and snackers. Make sure to add cayenne to all of the above mentioned items. I'm also a fan of their napkins. Odd, I realize, but it's the little touches sometimes. The food was great. Portions seemed smaller, or perhaps my stomach just expanded... I'll go with the first option. I also scored some salad dressing to go! read more

Terrible service with medium quality food. It has been sometime that I have eaten at Olga's, back in the day very good quality and fresh! today a different story, very sad. After we waited for over 23 minutes for our sandwich and salad w/salmon to come it finally came, salmon looked like a burnt piece of meat and flat like a pancake, unlike any salmon I have ever ordered to top a salad before. I will never go there again terrible food quality and service. My 20.00 will be best served at another chain with better quality. read more

Had a problem with this location the first time I went. Someone in the management contacted me right away and apologized, and helped right away. Went back, had great service. Would recommend this restaurant, would return again if I'm in the area. read more

Food is great; it's a chain, so quality is generally consistent. I have zero complaints there. However, I will never go back to this location after an experience I had today. I walked in around 5:20 pm, ready to place a carry out order. There were no other customers anywhere nearby, so I stood at the counter, consulting the menu. When the young counter worker was finally about to help me, another man entered the store, walked up to the counter and started ordering. The young worker explained I was first, but the man made a very rude comment, said he had previously placed a carry out order and then went "around the corner," and apparently had more to order or something. As she proceeded to then help this arrogant, obnoxious customer, I realized my only option was to walk out. So I did. I will not return. I realize this man was the rudest person involved, but I also cannot patronize any business where I am treated so poorly. Sorry, Olgas, but that man cost you a customer. read more

I've been coming to Olga's for over 30 years and each and every time I am in the Detroit area I would make it a must to have an original Olga. The bread, sauce and gyro meat was always a delicious combination and they had kept it true to Olga's recipe ( she first sold at a stand in Birmingham in the 70's.) What happened? I just made my last ever visit. The bread is different, the meat was inedible and the whole experience left me sad for how things used to be. The server asked how things were and when I said I couldn't eat the food, he shared that corporate had "changed things." The quality was absolutely unacceptable. So sorry to cross this off my list for good. read more

quality food i usually only get the med spinach salad but its very good. I really like the Olga snackers and the swiss cheese spread stuff is very good. I go here at least 3 or 4 times when i am in the area for work. I would definitely recommend calling it in prior to arriving if you are tight on time. read more

It's obvious that they can't quite figure out how to staff properly with the influx of uber eats and doordash orders. We came to dine in, waited behind 3 people waiting for pick up orders. We waited while everyone else was taken care of, assuming we'd be sat, but were never addressed. It was only after we asked the clearly overwhelmed hostess/to-go worker if we should just seat ourselves that we got a table. We then sat at that table for a good 10 minutes, ignored, before we decided to get our food to go. So add another 20 minutes on to that to get our food. (I'm pretty sure the hostess who sat us didn't even recognize us when we came up to place our to go order.) While we sat, we had a poor woman with a newborn have to come in to pick up her curbside to go because nobody came out. Unfortunately they just can't seem to allocate their people correctly to make sure everyone is taken care of. We'll try and make it to the location on Woodward going forward. read more

The food at any Olga's is usually pretty predictable. The taste and quality of the food was fine. The service however, was poor.

This was a decent meal. We came in late in the evening and got great service. Promptly seated and were attended to by an energetic server named Suzy. She was really talkative and engaged with us. Snackers were warm and delicious. Both our olgas were decent. Got a free brownie for checking in on Yelp we were able to use hassle free. read more

I stopped into Olga's for a quick To Go order. Michael was my server who was super prompt and polite. As I pulled out of the parking lot with my food I noticed someone running...no wait...sprinting towards my car. It was Michael! This is probably my favorite Olga's in Michigan, I literally come to this one all the time. The manager is so nice, and the servers are amazing. I ordered a original Olga's the meat was very fresh and my order came out fast. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for great service and food. read more

I ordered lunch here. When I got back to work, I noticed they gave me the wrong sandwich. When I went back to Olga's, the manager Devin went above and beyond to accommodate me for their error. I've been going to Olga's for years.... seriously I'm talking since 1985. I've been to the location on telegraph rd in Bloomfield Hills many many times. The last few years, it just hadn't been very good, but... I stopped there today because I was in the area and hungry. I definitely noticed a change. The hostess sat me right away, the wait staff seemed like they were on a mission. Melissa took my order and surprisingly quickly, my food appeared and it was awesome! While I was there the general manager stopped by and it turns out I know her from another location. She recently got promoted and I think she's doing an excellent job at the Bloomfield Hills location. Melissa was great at taking care of everything I needed. So... I'll definitely add this place back on my list of regular lunch spots. read more

Peasant soup was good but the cup is the smallest I have ever seen for the price of soup and salad combo. The waitress was pretty attentive. There was an odor in restaurant but I chalked it up to food smells. A family left because of bad service. It could be be better. The salad was too greasy too much dressing and was a nice size for combo with soup if was not a big softer than I like. I should have gotten a big bowl of soup. I had snackers too and they were good but a bit over seasoned. I received same small cheese dollop with soup as with small snackers which was a good portion of pita but more cheese would be nice. Got free dessert with check in and it was very good. Bread pudding. read more

Not a huge fan of the original Olga sandwich but it's decent. Did enjoy their smoothies and free bread pudding.

Me and a few of my biker buds, came here for some grub, it was good food, great staff and a good laugh. Thank you will will return again.

We had stopped going to this location due lack of good service....after several months we thought we'd give it a try. We had Keyon as our server and he was GREAT! Very attentive and nice, food was hot, food was great! Will start going back more often! read more

I visit this location so that I can get to-go quickly from work and always order with atleast 30 mins notice... The food is always good, but this last time couple of visits have been a nightmare in waiting for my order only to have them get it wrong. They do not watch the Curbside at this location so be forewarned that you have to go inside, although advertising they offer the service. You would think dropping $20 bucks on lunch to-go would afford you to have the luxury. read more

love that u can order ur food by phone or computer and they will bring it out to ur car. i usually get the Chicken Club with a Lemonade (ohhhh sooo good). the Olga Salad is one of my favorites also and u can buy the dressing they sell it there in bottles. i've never ate inside this Olga's but the staff who run out the food seem very nice and helpful read more

The food is wonderful, but having worked there I can tell you servers at this Olga's are mistreated by management- yelled at, kept hours past their scheduled shifts, expected to wash dishes, clean other server's tables as well as their own, and their availability isn't even respected. This location is running a horrible business and highly understaffed because of their methods. read more

My daughter likes Olgas but I always dread when she asks for it because I am forced to order from this location. Even a simple order over the phone seems to confound the folks on the other end of the line. Also the wait is usually painfully long when you arrive to pick up your food. I ordered again tonight and the food was ready as soon as I arrived and I thought...wow....maybe they've turned things around.
