I had the Kafta (kebabs [no sticks] with spices and yogurt on the side), which came with an "oriental salad" (it was what I think of as a "normal" salad in the US, with a vinaigrette(?) dressing). Both the Kafta and the salad were very, very tasty. The kebabs were a very "robust" flavor (it's the best word I can think to use), and the salad complemented the spices in the kebabs nicely. I also tried the "thé glace maison", which was okay, but did not really taste of anything, so I wouldn't get it again. It was delightfully empty for a 1pm lunch, so I hesitate to share my treasure with Yelp, but it really is very good and I want them to have the business and you to have the experience.

Because of the impending holiday the food was buffet style only, our waitress was so sweet and brought us a menu while telling us we couldn't order anything but they had a full buffet. Everything was good enough, the falafel were cold but that's the downside of a buffet style meal. We really enjoyed all the sides of hummus and eggplant and veggies. Ultimately I thought that for what we got 21 euros each was pricey but it's also an expensive neighborhood. It was good for a quick dinner but I probably wouldn't recommend it to others as a place they have to go while visiting Paris.

Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1978.

On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. Unfortunately for me, they close early on Shabbat, so I had to be satisfied with my single visit. Outstanding experience, delicious food as over 2,000 reviews already attested to.

We chose to walk more inside the village to avoid the massive crowd. I am so glad we did! We found Au rendez vous de Monmartre by accident and it was perfect! There are choices of traditional French fares and middle eastern dishes as well like couscous. I had a brick au thon and Ron had a walnut chicken salad. My brick au thon is a simple tuna salad with an egg yolk hiding in the middle as it is wrapped in Phyllo dough. The egg yolk smothers the brick as l pierced the Phyllo dough with my fork. It was a perfect lunch! Ron's chicken salad had freshly roasted chicken, very moist and juicy. The butter lettuce was so delicate and tender, the walnuts were fresh nuts that tasted delicious. Great address in Montmartre!

We ordered the chicken salad with nuts and the chicken couscous and it was all delicious! The food was very flavorful, there were tons of walnuts in the salad, and the portions were a generous size. The staff was such a nice family and we felt like we had been invited to a home cooked meal with friends! The prices were perfect considering the amount and quality of the food and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

This place has that scrappy energy in the best possible way--servers switching effortlessly between languages, bartenders pulling double duty, and everyone working with heart and hustle. They got some strong American diner vibes with authentic french food and wine. We started with a bold and unique Chenin Sous Voile from Domaine Jousset--dry, nutty, and layered like a white port's sophisticated cousin. Highly recommend for anyone looking to drink something memorable. For mains: The flank steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, tender, and full of flavor. Modest portion, but just right considering the quality. The lamb tourine was a standout--fall-apart tender, moist, and rich without being heavy. The sauce was made for mopping up with couscous, and paired beautifully with our carafe of Syrah. Everything was balanced, thoughtfully plated, and delicious without being flashy. Portions and prices were modest, which left room to explore the menu. This is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you're in Paris--not just visiting. Cozy, charming, and quietly brilliant.

The downstairs is two tiny high tops for two and one that might fit three plus a few tables out front. I mention that so when you go, not to expect a sit down experience. The food was nothing that other places don't make, but was so good. I had a simple shawarma wrap and a side of baba ghanoush. Both were excellent. The shwarma was beef and lamb, which I ordered with the Toum and hot sauce, as well as the standard onions, pickled veggies, and tomatoes, and it was small. But every bite was perfect! I don't know why or how, but the little wrap could have been the best thing I ate the entire trip, and believe me when I say that I ate a lot. I have eaten shwarma and/ or kebabs from dozens of places in dozens of cities and I can't say that I have had better. I ate great shwarma at Taza on Queensway and throughout London in the 90s, but bite for bite, this was as good or better. I hope my glowing review doesn't set the bar impossibly high, because it's the simplicity that makes this little sandwich so good. It's also in a fun and vibrant neighborhood near the Pompidou Center, so I would highly recommend this for lunch or even a hearty snack for someone who may be walking all day.
