My family and I came here for dinner and we were able to get a show and a dinner. This restaurant is the brainchild of Blake Shelton, so obviously it's country music themed. There's even a life sized cardboard cutout of Blake by the stage. They serve up southern food (i.e. BBQ, burgers, cornbread) and have live music. There's also a rooftop bar with a great view of the strip that I think turns into a nightclub later in the evening. The names of some of the dishes made me laugh: Trash Talkin' Taco Salad, Redneck Nachos...My family and I ordered the Stay Country BBQ Board (feeds 2-3) & the Carolina Glazed Roasted Half Chicken. The food was fine but nothing extraordinary. Don't expect to be able to talk to the people in your party. The live music is so loud that we couldn't hear each other. There's also an entertainment fee that is tacked on to your bill at the end to pay for the live band. Apparently that's a thing in Vegas?

Popped in here during 2026 ACMs surprised to see it not quite busy. Always great service as well. The talent like always was terrific! The food good and the beer cold. They've got Hardy's Outlaw beer on tap and it's pretty darn good. It's located in the middle of the strip so easy to get to. Across from Bellagio and near Horseshoe casinos. Highly recommend for a good country time!

Visited Ole Red in Las Vegas with a group of 11 during Memorial Day Weekend. We arrived around 10:00 PM and were told the kitchen was already closed. We were not even able to order appetizers. That was really disappointing for a busy holiday weekend. It was even a struggle to accommodate our large group. We were told by the security guard that we couldn't join tables that were empty to be able to sit together. We stayed for drinks, but most of our group did not enjoy them, especially considering how expensive they were. We also expected a country music atmosphere, but instead the band was playing a tribute set to No Doubt and other 90s music, which was not what we came for. Since we were hungry, unhappy with the drinks, and not enjoying the entertainment, we decided to leave. To make matters worse, our bill included an entertainment fee for music we didn't even like. Overall, very disappointing experience and not worth the high prices. We won't be coming back.

Expensive Venue on the Strip This is a 3-level venue with a 4th level rooftop. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly crowded for a Saturday night. Pricing: The drink prices are steep. Expect to pay nearly $20 for a beer and closer to $30 for a mixed drink. Entertainment: There is an additional $2 entertainment charge added to your bill. The live band was okay. Overall, the pricing is a bit excessive for the overall experience. Fine for one drink if you haven't been, but not a place to settle in for the night unless you're prepared to spend a lot.

Great place for food, drinks and love music. Service was good and they don't bother you if you stick around at your table to litsen to the band.

We enjoyed our stop here for some food in the early afternoon. We were greeted by an amazing server, Tasha. She's very knowledgeable of the menu for both food and drinks. Super friendly and high energy. We sat on the first floor in front of the stage and were thrilled that there was live music. So much fun and lots of people started coming in as the lunch time progressed. There was also a completely full rooftop bar area which was gorgeous and also had live music up there too. The food was great and came out quickly. Hot and delicious. So many menu options that we will have to come back again. Tried both mocktails and the Bless Your Heart was my favorite of the two...more sweet. Definitely check this place out.

Had co workers come to town & suggested this place for lunch. First time here & I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't expecting people to be lined up before opening but I'm also rarely anywhere when they open. One person's order wasn't correct but other than that, the food was tasty. Sangria didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it but it was refreshing. Pretty cool vibe. Bet it's really fun at night.

We visited Ole Red on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. It was definitely busy. There was a live band playing inside, but we wanted to sit on the rooftop. Unfortunately, all the tables overlooking the Strip and the Bellagio Fountains were taken, so we were seated by stage on the rooftop. There wasn't any entertainment on that rooftop stage while we were there, which made it a little confusing to see an entertainment fee added to our receipt. Our server was very sweet, but she clearly had too many tables. There were long stretches where we didn't see her, so we're guessing she may have had tables on another floor as well. Service just felt stretched thin. As for the food we ordered the nachos, fried green tomatoes, cornbread, and mac n' cheese. The fried green tomatoes were good and probably our favorite starter. The nachos were just okay. The cornbread was okay. The parts with melted butter were good, but it needed more or would have been great served with some honey. The mac n' cheese was good and very rich, which you kind of expect at a Southern country bar. On our way out, we heard the band playing inside and they sounded great. Overall, it's a fun spot with a lively vibe. We just wish the service had been more attentive and that we could have snagged one of those rooftop tables with a view.

If you're craving an unforgettable night out in Las Vegas, Ole Red Las Vegas is the place to be. It's right smack in the middle of the strip. This four-story venue delivers everything you want from a country-style bar, from electrifying live music nearly every night to mouthwatering Southern comfort food and handcrafted cocktails that keep the good times rolling. The top floor has a live DJ and the views of Belagio water show is the icing on the cake.

My husband and I went to the Blake Shelton concert which he's still killing it. Amazing. Highly recommend going seeing him so we checked out his bar ole red so much fun the decor was exciting lively good energy. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive to us, making sure that we had drinks and everything that we needed. We ended up ordering the stay country board. And holy moly, it was so much food I really enjoyed the beans they were delicious. The macaroni and cheese was really good. The ribs were really good all in all it hit the spot . We really enjoyed it couldn't eat it all . Highly recommend if you have a few people to order that and then the drinks were really good. We had the ole red beer and if you bought a certain size you get the glass for free so we did that they have live band playing great entertainment. We would definitely go back.thank you

Service was good for the amount of tables the serves are assigned. Pepsi products, mock tails, and booze for drinks. They had live music going and that was cool, definitely gave Nashville vibes. The burger was good, the bread was not my favorite. The Mac and cheese could've had a little bit more flavor. The fries were super bland, the tater tots - not pictured - were decent size and they were good. Also not pictured were the chicken sliders, it comes with three of them. I don't think I'd return due to the amount of other restaurants here in Vegas.

Can't beat a rooftop bar with live entertainment, refreshing cocktails and a great meal. Plenty of staff to handle the strip crowds. Prices are a little steep for what you get, but it's the strip and the you're really paying for the entertainment and the view.

Overall, The House of Blues is a top notch venue and one of the best for alternative music in Las Vegas. Would it be better if it wasn't locatd in the middle of the massive Mandalay Bay Casino? The energy, the crowds, the talented musicians, the atmosphere where every bar feels like a mini concert... we were hoping to relive at least a little bit of that magic here in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the exact opposite happened the moment we walked through the doors. When you picture a Jason Aldean country bar, you imagine loud music, packed crowds, boots hitting the floor, people singing along, bartenders slinging drinks at Mach 5, and an atmosphere that feels alive. Instead, we walked into what felt like a country-themed waiting room. On a Friday night during prime time, maybe six tables out of what looked like 100 were occupied. The music wasn't bad necessarily... it was just aggressively generic. The kind of band you'd find on a lower-budget Carnival cruise ship performing "Sweet Caroline" for the fourth time that week while somebody named Linda double-fists margaritas nearby. Every act felt like they were generated by an AI program called "Top 100 Requested Bar Songs." Technically fine musicians, but completely lacking any personality, uniqueness, or actual energy. At no point did the place ever feel like a true country music venue. Honestly, the most shocking part was how easy it was to sit there and comfortably have full-volume conversation all night long. In a country bar, that's basically a code red emergency. The food was decent enough. Nothing terrible, nothing memorable, just kind of existing. The drinks were wildly overpriced, but welcome to the Las Vegas Strip where apparently Tito's and soda now require financing options. What truly confused me though... not once the entire night did I hear a Jason Aldean song. Not from the live bands. Not over the speakers between sets. Nothing. Which feels kind of like going to Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar and nobody mentioning flavor for three hours. I genuinely don't understand how this place survives long term. If you had told me they were permanently closing in six months, I honestly wouldn't be surprised based on how empty it was and how little incentive there is to ever come back after experiencing it once. Maybe we caught an off night. But if this was supposed to be the Vegas version of Broadway in Nashville... somebody accidentally sent us to the airport Holiday Inn lounge instead.

The show starts out as a reggae dance hall with a DJ and a bar. The drinks are super expensive. Make it more affordable and I think people will loosen up. Subsequent rooms have a fairytale quality in retelling the story of Bob Marley. If you didn't see his biopic prior to coming to the show, I'd advise doing that so you have the gist of the timeline of his life. The show is heavily dependent on how much you're willing to dance to the music with whoever else is with you. If everyone stands around while the performers dance around you, it's going to feel like a long show. When I went, I had just arrived back from a cruise to Jamaica maybe 2-3 days earlier. Of course I came back with a terrible sunburn and physically couldn't dance because my skin hurt so bad. Lol of course. I felt bad because I try to be a good sport so the performers don't feel bad if everyone isn't participating, but all I could do is sway. If you don't like to participate in shows, are very shy, don't like reggae this show isn't for you. If you like to dance and you're interested in Bob Marley, I'd go to this. Visited: October 2025
