Pretty cool flea market i was there at 8am and this is more of a 10am flea market. 8am not many spots were ready. I can say the first 2 buildings look less active when you get back to D is where you start seeing more open spots. I was out looking for comics and figures. I did see a couple pretty neat stores but unfortunately not open. I was on a bit of a crunch so couldn't stay long but closer to 9am i found some good stuff as i was walking out. Would love to return in the future with more time and definitely a little later in the morning! read more

I love a good old fashioned flea market where you can find hidden treasures along with homemade and hand made goods. Imagine my excitement when I learned the biggest flea market in the South was 20 min from our hotel. Now imagine my disappointment when we get there and it's run down and mostly deserted. After asking a few of the remaining vendors I learned there are more people in the winter but it's still mostly empty. This place must have been great years ago. Of the remaining vendors, there are a few I would stop by and shop from if I lived locally. They are only reason this place gets 2 stars. Sam's books, Simply soap and the golf store where we did get our six-year-old, a set of golf clubs and a bag. The gentleman was so helpful and even threw in some tees and Nerf golf balls for him to practice with. If you have a bird, everything birds has everything you could possibly need and their birds looked well taken care. The man who runs the funnel cake stand could be the unofficial mayor. read more

It is 96 degrees outside and not much cooler at the inside booths. God bless the vendors willing to be in the heat. I have never been here in the summer. I'll wait to cooler weather to return. MANY booths and even entire sections are closed. I am very heat sensitive, so may be fine for other people. This flea market has survived decades. It's huge, and some of the vendors have crazy good prices! I went to 5 flea markets, and this one is by far the best (some of the other markets are not really super cheap). I bought earrings $2/pair from one vendor a few rows into this market. I also found a home goods/tool/everything store pretty far into the market with crazy cheap stuff. It's down near the office. I bought hair clips $1/each, hats for the beach $5/each... The vendor had 8x10 tarps for $6 (bigger tarps were more), pet carriers, chairs/stools, tools, crocs, just lots of different things. I also bought some kitchen supplies, which were less expensive and better quality than I found at w**mart or $ store. It was actually really nice being able to buy little chairs/toys so cheap for the beach. It saved me the trouble of having to haul things from home, and I probably wouldn't have bought it all from a big box store because of the prices. I had planned on donating it to a local thrift shop when our vacation ended, but in the moment, I offered some of the things to a family near us on the beach & they were happy to take our beachy things when we headed out. The other items we kept, and they've held up actually really well. TLDR: If you're trying to save money, definitely check this place out! read more

It may be better in warm weather, but in February it was a dreary place. All of the outdoor booths were unused. The vast majority of vendors were selling stuff at higher prices than the stuff was worth. You'll do better looking at garage sales. read more

My purchases: - vintage costume jewelry $8 - pink flamingo lunch bag and matching purse $14 (new) - Florida tie-dye t-shirt, a requirement. $9 - a conch shell with cuts $4 - a tiny Swiss Army style knife for $1 Definitely going back every month for a fun Sunday adventure. We live only 5 minutes away so go here often. It is huge! Everything (almost) you could ever want. All kinds of toys, clothing, household goods, furniture, artwork, antiques, barber, etc. Best to visit early or late when it is cooler. Some shops have A/C but most areas are fan cooled. Other than sometimes wandering over most of it in search of small treasures or hot deals, we usually just visit the southern area, where the fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed. Oldsmar version of a Farmer's Market. Lots of standards like tomatoes but sometimes something a little different like Dragonfruit or Starfruit. There are also fresh free range eggs and a variety of organic items. Oh and my son always loved to grab some duck eggs when available. There are several places in the center to eat. Normal fare like burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches. Also a couple really great Mexican food trucks. One has wonderful fruit drinks with lots of chilled fruit, my fav is the Papaya. The other has standard Mexican fare like Tacos, Enchiladas, etc, We also like to go over the enormous amount of T-Shits looking for unique ones at great prices. Just steer your young kids away from the Adult (raunchy) section. Check it out. Open on the weekends only and Fall is a great time to tour the place. read more

I've been coming here for about a year now every couple months. It's one of my favorite flea markets! Just recently, they had a bunch of vendors from all over move into this one because several flea markets closed down. It's nice to have everything in one spot. One of the new additions is their bird section! They also have a non profit cat cafe where you can have tea and coffee while you pet the kitties. They are for adoption and only ask for donations. They have a very nice plant section, antiques, new rugs, some produce and a fresh fish seller. Last weekend we were there, we bought some Georgia peaches and they were juicy with every bite. We frequent this place so much, we've made friends with the vendors. Highly recommend! read more

So disappointed! A huge dump. Filthy! There are a very few shops that are well Maintained but frankly the rest were disgustingly. Some booths had items piled up on concrete for you to paw through. Had to wonder if owners know the situation or if they do know, do they not care? In our opinion it was 28 area of misery. I imagine at one time this might have shone bright but the lights are out. Glad I did not subject my dogs to this place. Food was neither gourmet or appetizing. In fairness the vegetable stand was nice and I bought some items. The bird section was well maintained and the dollar stores were clean and filled with items that were useful and lastly there was a leather maker who did great work and we bought 2 belts and one wallet but I assure you we would not attend in the future and recommend you spare yourself the misery of this second rate overrated dollar store low end merchandise station. read more

This place has changed. There's so much new stuff now. The manager of the place is uncaring. He raised the rent to get rid of the lower class people That's what he calls them I heard. The bathrooms used to be clean now they're all out houses and you only get a key to the old restrooms if you work there. Don't lose the key you'll be punished And they're not cleaned very good anymore. The parking lot somebody twisted their ankle And nobody cared. If you're handicapped I wouldn't recommend going there because the outhouses are not fit for wheelchairs. The workers are nice but watch out for the owner. There's a lot of good food and a lot of good music though. Go and enjoy be nice of the workers because they're going through an awful lot with the raised rent in the unjust management. read more

I wanted to support the oldsmar flea market. I arrived and tripped over debris in A entrance, breaking my glasses. Left through B entrance where a top fell from above. I returned a month later to make a formal complaint. No one was in the office. I gave up. Today, I wanted to patronize and show support, but I felt no improvements were being made to fix property; the hurricane was September and October; yet, minimum safety hazardous areas were improved. On vacation in Tampa and found this flea market we thought would be cool to visit. The pros, it was huge and had a lot of variety of items. The cons, it was giving garage sale vibes and everything seemed overpriced considering it was a flea market. Walked the whole market and did not find a single thing I wanted to purchase. I'm giving two stars because at the end of the market we found a hidden gem... a bird shop with tons of parrots! It was so cute and highlighted the trip to the flea market. read more

I like to go to Daytona Flea Market often, but since I live on the outskirts of Tampa, that can be a bit of a drive. I decided to look up another large flea market, similar to Daytona, and found this one! Oldsmar definitely isn't as big, but it's very sizable compared to other flea markets in the area, and it just may be our new favorite spot! Once we pulled in, we noticed that the lot was completely full, but there is a LOT of parking available. They have each row labeled, starting with A. You could easily spend hours here, because there are so many vendors! We really enjoyed the exotic plant store the most, it was very unique and they had a large variety. It was a little bit crowded at times on a Saturday (in high congestion areas like the food areas,) but for the most part there seemed to be plenty of room for everyone here! read more

You might find treasure if you dig deep, but I'll probably opt to look somewhere else. I once joked with a friend that we would always have to make money because we don't have good enough taste to be able to make cheap things look beautiful. The flea market reminds me a bit of dumpster diving. You have to dig through tons of "trash" to find some "treasures." We originally came because I saw there was a nursery and I needed new plants for the pots in front of our house. I would seriously just dump the pots because I kill all plants, but the pots are huge and heavy so path of least resistance is to get new plants and hope they don't die. This is a small look into how my brain works. We decided to walk around before going to the nursery. The parking lot can get super muddy/watery when it rains. Luckily there are still spots that aren't muddy so we found one of those. Even though the stalls are covered there is some outdoor walking so I wouldn't suggest coming here if it is pouring, but when it is slightly drizzling we were fine. They have a large array of stuff even though many stalls seem similar. There is a produce stand, some furniture, tons of rugs in the back, antiques, etc. I felt slightly uncomfortable with the number of confederate flags I saw, although to be fair, any amount more than one makes me uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to come back with just me and the baby. I would come back if I was looking for something super specific that I think I would find here, but I won't be back just to peruse. read more

Haven't been to the flea market in years. Hubs and I had a day date and decided to come and walk around. Only thing we found was a honey shop and ended up purchasing some. This is an open air flea market meaning it's no AC. This past weekend was not hot so it was tolerable walking around here. However if it were in the midst of summer it'd be hot. They do have a few vegetable stands that have some good prices. And a huge plant shop should you be in the market for some plants at a good cost. I've been going to the Oldsmar Flea Market since the 80's and I'm very impressed with the continuing growth and the very wide variety of merchandise available. Lots of food vendors and places to sit to take a break. It usually takes me about 3+ hours to walk end to end. Oldsmar is one of only two large Flea Markets left in the Tampa Bay Area so it will continue to grow as long as people want to go to flea markets! read more

I'm not writing this for the vendors of the market because there are many hard working vendors in there that have great merchandise. The BIG problem is the management...The management and office staff treat their vendors like 3rd class citizens holding eviction in front of their nose at their own whim. They do not provide any maintenance of their rented booths, even when they are falling apart. Verbally abuse the vendors in front of their clients. They have triple the rent since the new owner developer Grady Pridgen took control and have reduce their accountability to zero! Its such a shame that there are no regulations against this type of abuse since most people at their mercy, only have this outlet to make a living and so many had to quit if they were not evicted because of rent. Was excited to check out the plants but quickly realized there wasn't anything special about the quality, pots or pricing. I went here because I saw an exotic plant place. We didn't expect it to be in a flea market! We wandered around for a bit...they have so much here, including food! It smelled amazing. I had been looking for welcome mats for our house and we found really friendly vendors who sold us two cute mats at $5 each. Lots of good little treasures here from cds to jewelry to clothes and gemstones to odds and ends. Glad we stopped! I even brought home a HUGE pitcher plant too. read more

Sad I have to leave this negative review but it seems face masks are mandatory for only you and me but not the vendors. Asked the information person at the office and she had an attitude about it. They aren't worried about it she said. With so many flea markets going out of business you'd think Oldsmar would try to follow protect themselves and follow the rules. Hope they are here next year but with a "I can do whatever I want" attitude and weak leadership and failed direction right from management chances could be slim. read more

Unfortunately we will not be returning . We were excited to see they had reopened. What a big disappointment. The dealers, I would say 80 percent were very nasty towards new people. They are all clicks. Customers come in that they know, they drop the other customers. Some of the booths were so slapped full with crap that if there was a fire,nobody would be getting out. You also have a business in there that should be kicked out because the way she treats customers and employees. (Christine's plants). If you were lucky to talk to a shop owner well good for you because usually they are never in the shop because out talking to other dealers. Never had pricing on merchandise. Big shout out to the orchid lady, the flag lady, and the donut couple in the solid building, they were nice people and very helpful. read more

Once in a while I get a wild hair... today was that day. The last time I was there, I had remember that there was a shop that had tiara's and I wanted to share it with a friend of mine. The shop was still there, but alas, they didn't have many tiaras this time. There were, however, trips back in time. In one particular shop, as we perused the goods, we came across things that we each had had in our youths. I personally remember the Nescafe globe coffee cups - Mom still has them. There were Disney Glasses and even boxed drink glasses from the now defunct (world famous) Lous Pappas Resturaunt at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. We found boxed sets of VHS tapes of the Highlander. Juke Boxes and a lot of ... well there's no way to say it.. CRAP. And of course there is the import store: the cheap stuff imported from China, they take up several areas and are filled with well... EVERYTHING. I actually found metal decorated claw clips for $1, so I bought 10 of them. They look pretty in my hair! I also learned what I could do with my used CD's - make a religious icon! On the way out, They had a delicious selection of local strawberries - YES! it's almost strawberry season, and I bought a half flat! read more

Oldsmar FM is large and can be a real bounty of inexpensive fun... Every time I take my northern friends here, they are always shocked that there is actually a place in which one can actually buy a firearm, fresh produce, a pot pipe or bong, and adult dvds all in the same venue? Yay Florida! Yes, of course it is a people-watching paradise! They sell beer here and you will see many unforgettable creatures from the surrounding areas that you will surely recall and laugh about later. Expect the usual offerings: a produce area, endless phone gear, infomercial goods, used music/movies/video games, pop-culture kitsch, trash and treasure from decades past, and more Chinese-made objects than one could want or ever need in 10 lifetimes... Fans of hunting cool vintage/nostalgia loot "may" still find an occasional treasure here? A majority of the available hoard to browse seems to be 75% modern, but you may just get lucky. I have found some reeeally great retro stuff here over the last 2 decades! For the Oldsmar's size? You can likely search it all in 2-3 hours, depending on how much time you spend "hovering" over each booth. A stand-out-must-visit booth for me is that "Kitchen Stuff," right near the front. Like another yelper mentioned, I always seem to find a new toy for my home cooking, every time I visit. I bought a Asian metal cleaver for $15 years ago, and it is still going strong... As for the food? Expect small vendors with "State Fair" menu-type items. Like most FM's, the bathrooms are infrequent and often gross. Fair warning... To conclude... A fun way to blow part of Sat/Sun, and you can still have a fun and memorable time for cheap. read more

Everything, and I mean everything is here. Whether it's fruit and veggies, to furniture, to pretty paintings to cheesy 8 track tapes. They have everything here and a great variety. If you are a male or female, young kid or teenager, there is something for you. Even the wonderful pets in your life have a place to shop. All the jewelry and purses that girls love and the make up and all that good stuff, it's there. Lastly, all that stuff that you buy at the touristy places, souvenirs, etc, yep all here. I am excited to have gone here. I feel like it's one of the biggest flea markets with everything in it, not just the same ol stuff at each stand. My favorite was the tiki guy who makes tiki bars. They have so much detail, of course they cost and arm and a leg, and I don't know if people actually spend an arm, leg, and whatever at a flea market, but hey it was really cool! Check it out! I think it's good for one of those rainy days when you want to do something but don't want to stay home. I always feel like when it rains, I have no idea what to do since it's always sunny in FL. I love what they've done with the continuous improvement at the Oldsmar Flea Market. Of course you see the dollar stores and shops that carry most of what you'd expect at a flea market. Then there are the unique shops such as Penney's Creations. Penney is a progressive Seamstress and in regards to quality; she has set the bar quite bar high. She is strict; EVERYTHING in her shop is made by hand. Her current products include: Du-Rags (with or without a cotton sweat-band), Elegant kitchen/bath Hanging Towels that can be made to order (these are not the old fashioned towels made with the button or Velcro), Terry cloth Adult Dining Garments (bibs), aprons & half aprons for adults as well as kids, microwaveable Bowl Cozies as well as potato/ vegetable bags (including single potato bags), Bo-Ho Beach Bags, Drawstring Backpacks, bag holders/sleeves for plastic grocery store bags, lanyards (Bldg.
