I was looking to purchase a birthday gift for my dad who lives in the area and had the desire to support a small business. I realized that The Grindstone was still in the area and could offer curbside pickup (which my mom assisted with!) - although you can also order for items to be shipped. The online ordering was easy and straightforward with good descriptions of the products. I was able to get a good variety of olive oil (their own brand from Greece), balsamic vinegar, dipping spices and local honey (was great to know I was supporting another local business with my purchase!). We had a small miscommunication about the pickup, but it was quickly resolved and relatively easy from their showroom. My dad has enjoyed the items he received and we were both pleased to be able to say we supported a local business that's dedicated to ethical and healthy products.

It's called "Surprisingly Mild Guajillo Ghost"! It's "surprising" because this sauce is made with ghost chili peppers which is the world's hottest pepper. However, the sauce has very smoky, mild flavor. All of the sauces from Fat Cat Gourmet can be found at All Spiced Up!
