I'd you're a jerky fan then this place is for you. They have a variety of jerky styles and flavors. The lady working there was super friendly and let us try some of the flavors. The jerky is sort of pricey but on par with what you'd pay for more premium stuff so not complaining. The store is small but roomy enough to walk around comfortably.

While visiting the shops in St Augustine, we ran across this little jerky hut. I love beef jerky (even make my own from time to time) so I had to stop in. The shop is small like the rest of the shops in the area, but well laid out. All of the jerky was towards the wall, leaving plenty of space to see the merchandise and walk around. We sampled a few of the varieties. One of the drawbacks is the samples were limited to beef. I would have liked to sample some elk or gator or any of the others, but understood you can only get so much. I ended up settling on the sweet and spicy brisket and the bourbon chipotle. Both were excellent. The brisket was from the fattier pieces of brisket and very tender. It had a good spice to it without being overwhelming. The chipotle bourbon was also excellent because you could actually taste the bourbon. The chipotle adds spice, but again, not overwhelming. While the jerky prices were high (11.99 and 13.99 for a 3.5/4oz bag, it is inline with other high end jerky huts, but still more expensive (and better quality) than the crap you find at the grocery store. Recommend you stopping in and taking a look if you are in the area.

It's a jerky store in a high rent district so don't expect any cheap jerky here you can expect to find some very exotic jerky though. They usually are giving away samples so you can try before you buy. This might be a good place to buy a gift for the wild game aficionado in the family. They also stock a few different bottles of hot sauce, so if your on a mission for dried meat or liquid heat this place may be of interest to you it's got a certain camouflage vibe about it.

Even tried their most popular: Sunshine & St. Augustine Rose which were both a white balsamic vinegar that were unique and fantastic. They have a nice variety of merchandise. Such things as: pastas & sauce, stuffed olives, bbq sauces, jams, spread & other novelty goods & specialty pantry items. (see pics & video) Staff was helpful in finding items to bring home with me & that could go in my carry on luggage (also offer shipping). We bought several things for ourselves and several things as gifts for others. We also learned they do special pairings and post recipes on occasion if you follow them on Instagram too! The owners are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their business. As well as choosing the best quality products for their customers. They have 4 locations in Florida currently. That is un-brine-lievable! Note-This shop offers in-store refills for customers who bring back their bottles which allows for a sustainable solution for returning customers. They also won "Best of St. Augustine" for Best Specialty Shop and Best Gift Shop 4 years in a row. Keep drizzling happiness like olive oil and best of luck for the 2026 award.

It was during nights of lights, so the store was packed and parking was super hard to find. You basically had to be a local and just KNOW where you can park...blocks away. With that being said, I got what I came for and left. But after Nights of Lights is over, I look forward to returning and sampling their various wares.
