I spoke with someone in the office and they said someone would be there to fix it last week. No one showed up and no one is answering the phone. I've left 3 voicemails. I'm hoping this gets resolved soon as these are rentals and tenants need their gates to operate. UPDATE 2: Bernardo's is a very busy provider. Six years ago this company replaced a fence for me. Today, two posts have completely failed and a…read morethird is close behind. When I called them, they didn't even bother to look at the problem -- they just handed me a $400 quote and said it was out of warranty. Here's the real issue: they never poured concrete around the post on my side of the fence. What looks like a proper footing is just a blob of concrete sitting on top of dirt. I literally picked it up with my hand. Underneath, the post hole was empty -- no concrete, no protection, nothing holding the post in place. Who installs a fence post without surrounding it in concrete? It's basic, standard practice. I get that mistakes happen. But refusing to look, refusing to care, and refusing to acknowledge an obvious installation error is unacceptable. Some of the posts they installed are fine, which makes it even clearer that these were simply done wrong. Very disappointing experience.
