I'm putting 3 stars only because I walked around and got stuff from the Amazon locker, but I didn't actually buy anything or go t the register, so I can't speak about those experiences yet. The customers and staff were friendly, prices weren't back, and this is a nice store to walk around in and find things for your home. read more

I bought a flower pot, went home and realized it was too small. I came back to exchange it and the girl at the register absolutely refused to exchange it saying it was a final sale. Plenty of home goods, though quality can be a bit questionable with some items looking like they might fall apart after just a few uses. Large, bright layout with a generous parking lot. This Old Time Pottery is nowhere near as cool as the one in Foley, but it's not bad. It's smaller. I was in search of a ceramic pie pan but didn't find one in a color I liked. I did find several other dishes, and ended up buying some storage jars to organize my pantry. They had a nice selection of dishes and serve ware, towels and linens, lamps and various home decor items. They also had a nice variety of unique Christmas ornaments. The employees were helpful and friendly. I was slightly overcharged for three of the jars, by about 50 cents each. It wasn't worth mentioning, but if you're buying larger ticket items, pay close attention at the checkout. read more

This is the most unprofessional business I have been in, in a long time. I walked in there looking for a clock, I asked the sales representative, could you tell me where the clocks are, her reply was "it's in my house". That would have been funny if I wasn't in a hurry to get home. I found them bought one 27.00 and brought it home and it didn't work. Back to the store the didn't know how much I paid it took 30 minutes after four store associates ran around. After a while they gave me a gift card for the amount. By this time I asked if anyone could use this card, cashier replied yes, I turned around gave the gift card to a little old lady I said her you go. I told her I will never be back in this store again. read more

Fun place to spend an hour or so. Lots of home goods for every season, craft supplies, outdoor furniture and lots more. Quality of bedding and towels is questionable. Staff is reasonably helpful and generally pleasant. For some reason, about a year ago they stopped the military discount. Thought that was pretty crummy. read more

This place is an example of how not to run a business. First of all, many items were missing the price tags. This was a major problem because items were missed placed throughout the store. Finally, upon check out, the cash register attendant was so obnoxious and rude to us, she refused to make eye contact and answer any questions I had. Basically, she ignored me. The Old Time Pottery in Foley is a lot larger! While this place is still a nice size, most of the aisles seem incredibly narrow and cramped. The products they sell (especially rugs and some of the home decor items) are not great quality, but will be sufficient for a guest room or similar. They do run quite a few sales, which is nice since some of the products are a little higher priced than most stores. Staff is lack luster and not helpful when you purchase something large. I got a large rug and no employee would help me out to my vehicle and I had to struggle to get it situated by myself. read more

We visited this shop just to browse and kill time. However there was a 50% off sale on some things we had wanted so we loaded up two buggies. At checkout, two of the items rang up at regular price instead of 50% off. When I pointed this out I was told they weren't included or n the sale. I told them that indeed they were and pointed at the area they came from where a huge 50% off sale sign was posted. The cashier just looked at me as if I had two heads. I asked her to call a manager which she did. Same comment from the manager. Then I walked with the Mgr to show her the sign, and where the items came from, to which she replied, "Well, that's wrong then.", and just walked away, no offer to adjust price or anything. I have rarely witnessed such rude behavior in staff before. At this point I was ready to put everything back and walk out (several hundred dollars worth) but it really was a fantastic bargain for something we wanted so I bought everything and paid full price for the two items in question. It took me several days to get over the shabby treatment though. I don't know who trains these people, but they certainly need lessons in courtesy and good business practices. read more
