There is no other place to shop for a rug than Rug Island. This establishment is owned and operated…read moreby Jeff, a rug enthusiast whose knowledge is vast and personality is welcoming. My husband and I needed a rug to match our cottage looking home and Jeff showed us the perfect rug that was well within our budget, but also one that looked and felt soft and was high is stain resistant. We ordered two 8x10 rugs and the rugs came withing the next Saturday (7 days). We also had a rug custom sized for our dining room, a 10x10 square, which took about two weeks from start to finish. Instead of keeping the leftover fabric from that rug, Jeff informed us that it was the same price to order a larger rug and have the company cut the rug into a 10x10 and we could keep the left over portion (again, at no extra cost). Not only did Jeff go above and beyond, but he also beat the price of the rugs on Wayfair. Jeff also taught my husband and I how to clean our rugs for each stain and gave us a cheat sheet in case a tragic accident happened. And, unlike other companies that would advise to purchase a gripper for underneath the rug, Jeff (who could/would have made more money by telling us we needed this) informed us that we didn't need this with the type of rugs we were ordering. Visit this place and you will not be disappointed. Also, if you park in the back lot, you can use the back entrance instead of walking all the way to the front. The wine selection is ok, kitchen tools are better, but the best part for moi is the global arts & crafts inventory they sell from all over the planet. Unusual stuff you just don't find anywhere else. We travel a lot so it's fun to find something cool here you love from another country you have visited. I have gotten some really cool hand made art, pillows & a mexican style hammock that I love from here. Moi always loves to browse the kitchen section for fresh dinner napkins, towels, utensils & dishes too :) Will Return. Recommend.

Exceptional Flooring Experience at The Floor Store in Pensacola!…read more I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Andrea at The Floor Store in Pensacola. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to help us navigate all the flooring options for our home project. With years of design experience, Andrea took the time to explain the differences between luxury vinyl plank (LVP), engineered hardwood, tile, and other flooring materials so we could make the best decision for our space, lifestyle, timeline, and budget. What really stood out was her incredible customer service and design expertise. Since I wasn't able to come into the showroom right away, Andrea even FaceTimed me through the store, showing me countless flooring samples, tile options, colors, textures, and finishes. She also shared photos of completed projects to help me visualize how everything would look in a real home setting. Within hours of our appointment, she had already sent over a detailed written quote. The selection at The Floor Store is fantastic, and if you can visit in person, it's absolutely worth it. But even if you can't, Andrea makes the process easy and stress-free. She truly helps you feel confident making design choices when there are so many products and styles to choose from. If you are looking for flooring in Pensacola -- whether it's LVP flooring, engineered wood flooring, tile, or expert interior design guidance -- I highly recommend The Floor Store and especially Andrea. Educated, experienced, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish!
