Strange experience there. The business itself is ok. On the pricey side. No bargains. A few antiques mixed in with a lot of "made in China" merchandise. Some local things. Big warehouse. The shopping experience was fine until I approached the front counter to check out. A man blocked my way in the aisle. He stood still between me and my friend. He stared at me never smiling or friendly in any way. He said something about asking if I was ok. I told him I was waiting to pay for my things. He moved and I was able to go to the cash register. I asked the cashier who he was. She said he was the manager. This happened a few weeks ago. Still not sure what to think about it. read more

Alyssa's is the place to go for "any occasion" gift. You will find the most unique and most adorable, useful and ideal gifts there. If sales are your thing-Alyssa's seems to always have booths with either a percentage or a clearance on items. A plus is the Post Office located inside the store as well. So nice to purchase a gift and mail it soon after. Boxes and mailing supplies are plentiful and readily available. The employees greet you upon entering and the cashiers are a plus, they care about your purchases and will wrap them very carefully as if it were their own items. A big plus is Pikas Grill food truck located in their parking lot. Its grilled and the variety is amazing. Also, a yogurt counter is there featuring fresh Acai bowls. Holidays are here so check out their website for outside vendors day and of course the debut for Christmas. We love coming here and will keep going almost every week or weekend. read more

Very large and diverse store. Items are in a sense upscale, which is to mean that most items are not just yard sale-like junk that people are trying to get rid of and make a buck. Crafts, knickknacks, collectibles, and more provide a lot of items from which to browse. Nicely laid out, clean and comfortable (not a musty smell/feel), and courteous staff. This is a phenomenal local business!!! They provide a lot of opportunity for local vendors to sell goods, and for consumers to purchase goods you will never find at large chains. On an average day you can go and enjoy shopping there. I will say though, on a day where they offer certain deals, they can be quite busy, and if you aren't into shopping with a large crowd, you may want to avoid those days. The staff has always been exceptionally helpful! Another nice feature is that they often team with local food trucks to park outside of the main shop. They do privately offer social services such as prayer, and sharing their Christian faith. I think this is a unique example of how a privately owned business operates first, and foremost by their world view guiding the rest of their practice. read more

It's hot as BALLS in Florida. We've got an Irishman in tow who is about to wither away from y'alls heat and humidity, so we quick had to find something to do in air conditioning on a lazy Sunday afternoon. As always, the Irishman likes to shop for unique souvenirs, so my friend suggested this place. The wonderfully bland Christian music nearly put me to sleep. And don't come if you're offended by lots of FAITH / HOPE / JESUS LOVES YA kind of recycled craftery in every other stall. This place isn't so much antiques as much as thrift store findings painted up and recycled. There must have been a sale on teal at a hardware store because lots of teal-painted fake weathered furniture and sayings on wooden plaques. We had fun. read more

I've been hoping to check out Alyssa's for a long time now! I finally made it over there today, and it was everything I imagined. My daughter and I used to love shopping at these little "antique" stores in Oxford. We'd spend hours and hundreds of dollars, and always find the best deals. Alyssa's is the first one I've found like that in this area. There are probably over 200 booths and most are very reasonably priced. They have everything from true antiques to shabby chic refinished pieces, craft supplies, hand-made clothing and jewelry, candles, old glassware, and a small selection of pottery. They even carry Big Green Eggs and a vast selection of Eggcessories! They really had something for everyone. You know what they say, "one person's trash is another person's treasure!" I found lots of treasures in Alyssa's! The prices are very reasonable on most everything I saw. The service is friendly. I can't wait to go back! read more

Alyssas's is huge...almost 20,000 ft^2. If you aren't looking for a $30,000 Louis XIV armoire with mother-of-pearl inlays in the shape of angels, you can probably find what you're looking for here. You might be able to find an armoire like that, but I've never seen one there. It's relaxing to just stroll around and look at the thousands of items on offer. You can buy furniture (new(er) or old), a Big Green Egg cooker, pottery, jewelry, and anything else that you'd expect to find in a smaller store. There's a post office inside, located in the rear of the place and a food truck out front (Carmelina's on the Go) that has delicious food. A lunch-room type of space inside of Alyssa's provides a cool, quiet place to nosh in contemplation of the wondrous objects that you encountered while browsing the store. So, to sum this up, at Alyssa's you can buy some cool new (to you, at least) bling for your palatial estate or studio apartment, mail a package or buy stamps, and fill your craw with yummy food. I am with the rest of the reviewers and find the Christian music a bit off putting. I don't appreciate religion while I'm shopping but that's just me. I was hoping for a new antique store to frequent and was so sad with what I found. It's a mom's side hustle's dream. Poorly "restored" and "upcycled" furniture, handmade slightly sketchy bath products with no labels, pyramid scheme clothing lines, and entire booths of Hobby Lobby fake antiques abound. Smashed in is new furniture, Green Eggs, and new merchandise. There is food out front. This store has no identity and no real soul if you're a dedicated thrifter and lover of antiques. It's a fun walk, but a waste of a shopping trip. read more

i was expecting an antique or vintage store, but the store is now more of a furniture store selling things I could find in any trendy home decor store. They did have some interesting things, but I don't think anything was actually old. Some unique hanging lights. read more

If you are thinking that this place is going to have antiques, think again. It IS a craft store. Tons of crafts. Sure there is a periodic antique in a booth but for those looking for true antiques, you will be disappointed. I cant believe i wasted my time driving out there. read more

My kids and I shop here all the time. It is not an antique store, so the name is misleading. The music is not my style as I'm not Christian. But, it does not bother me. I love shopping here, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I can find really great finds if I search, but for the most part a lot of the stuff is too expensive. I love the auction they do every Wednesday. I have been able to win some fantastic pieces from it. read more

Fabulous assortment of old, new items made to look old and vintage decorative home items. The staff was very helpful as I requested an item that was high on the wall and they had to climb to see the price and measurements. The staff was helpful, welcoming, and has a great attitude. The place is very well run , neat and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful . A lot of the painted furniture was painted with regular house paint not chalk paint and then waxed. The large pieces of furniture run about a hundred dollars more than at Miles Antique Mall in Pensacola. There's also a lot of black painted furniture? Seems like black furniture would be better for the mountains. Some of the painted pieces that the larger dealer has done are not really good furniture to begin with and haven't been refinished well before being painted. Buyer beware. The "Christian" music and atmosphere is a bit much. I prefer to choose my own religion. Just saying.... read more

My boyfriend and I enjoy antiquing, and it's rare we find a place that actually overwhelms us with so many awesome things. Alyssa's Antique Depot takes the cake. It's huge, well-organized, and screams BUY ME in every booth. Management must only accept vendors with high-quality merchandise, and that's definitely a change from the antique stores that have more trash than treasure. We love this place and will definitely be visiting more often! read more

If you look "really" hard you may find an antique or two. It is well organized with booths and easy to navigate through. I wouldn't call this place a "true" antique store. More of a place where people rent a space to sell specialty items or crafts. read more

First off, this is NOT an antique place, as the name indicates. So, just know that. It is a consignment type place with lots of crafty things. Some things are cute, but there is a lot of junky stuff in there, too. But, whatever works for ya. The Christian music is SO loud in there. While the staff is always relatively friendly, I never really feel welcome there. I guess I'm not a part of their church group. Wish the post office was easier to get to inside. The parking lot is always a circus. I only go in now when I need to mail something. read more
