    My couch I purchased from Ashley furniture they refuse to warrant under the extended warranty I purchased.

    I've attempted twice in the last 5 months to get Ashley furniture to back up their extended warranty I purchased in good faith at the point of purchase and they have been sending me around in circles (my guess is to avoid the issues I have till the warranty expires). I purchased this couch in good faith believing that their quality of workmanship was superior to the previous couch we replaced that lasted over 10 yrs. This one from Ashley Furniture is just 2yrs old. I paid twice the price for less quality and to find out their warranty is worthless. My suggestion is to steer clear of Ashley furniture for any of your Home furnishes.

    ***Update*** After filing a BBB complaint and posting this and a google review. I was contact to assist in all the concerns listed below. Even though I would never use Ashley again...I do appreciate the follow through. First Off The Sales Team In The Store Wasn't That Bad, But I Wish Someone Had Warned Me Of What BS I Would Be STILL Going Through Almost 4 Months Later. Loxley HomeStore( Assuming This Is The Parent Company) Is Complete CRAP! The Sad Furniture Saga Starts In March: 1. The Team Who Delivered My First Round Of Furniture....Scratched The Paint Off The Walls In My Entry Way. The Man Who Was Completing The Delivery Offers to "Fix" It If I have Paint....Really...Like I Managed To Move A WHOLE Sectional Out Without One Scratch... 2. They Deliver A Lovely Wood Cabinet Piece That Apparently Was Put Together In The Dark Because One Doors is At LEAST A Half Inch Off. The Delivery Driver Attempts To "Repair" It But States There is No Time....So They Order A New Door To Be Delivered, and Say Someone Will Call To Schedule The Repair...THIS Was In MARCH! Still No Repair...I've Attempted To Call And There Has Been No Follow Through At All...This Is The Worst Because I Have Actually Been Paying For A Piece They Delivered To Me DEFECTIVE...And Now Can't Return It Or Exchange...Every-time I Call To See When The Miraculous Scheduler Will Call...They Blame It On COVID...But They Have Had No Problem Getting The Other Delivery's Scheduled To Me...Except The Chair... 3. I Ordered A Pretty Good Amount Of Furniture One Of Which Was The Kleemore Accent Chair In Yellow...At The Store I Was Told The Delivery For This Chair Is Late May...We Are Now In LateJune....They Have Provided No Status, No Alternative, No Hey Do You Even Want It...No Call Or Email...Nothing. I Really Wanted This Experience To Be Easy...But It's Been A Never Ending Saga Of Excuses Of Why I'm Not Receiving Even One Fraction Of Service I Received In Store...It's Unfortunate To Know They Don't Give A S#IT After You've Signed and Are Out The Door.

    It's really sad because my experience in their storefront was wonderful. I worked with McGee, he…read moredidn't bombard me like sale reps do when they're salivating for a sale. He let me do my thing and gave me his card, I contacted him the following day (again I was happy to work with him unlike every other sales rep following me around this store and other stores) with what I was looking for and the dimensions of my living room for sectionals. My issue is with their delivery system. The first couch was scheduled for delivery two weeks (which was almost two weeks after the initial purchase) before the main one. I was given a time frame. I'm an active duty military member living alone and cannot drop at any point for a delivery. So I waited and waited for 4 hours as my "time window" kept getting pushed and pushed on their schedule. Fine. The couch (a small love seat) gets delivered and set up. Now the second delivery for the main sectional. Due to my waiting for the first delivery, I decided after looking at my time window and seeing I was the 4th stop, I could go into work- check the progress of the delivery drivers and make my way home. Again, active duty military I cannot just come and go as I please or skip half a day for a single delivery. So they call, as soon as I get to work that they're on the way- not sure how the 4th stop could be at 8:30 in the morning. So I let them know my base is 30 minutes from my house and I can leave now OR if you could please just switch my stop with another stop and come back to me. They said, you'll get a call from the dispatcher. Dispatcher calls and says they can only wait 15 minutes BUT when you get home, call us and we'll check with the delivery driver. So I leave work at 9am, call rooms to go at 9:30am and let them know I am home. The rep said okay, we'll contact the delivery company and call you back if they can fit you back in. Okay- I waited two hours and still have not heard back. So I call back- rooms to go rep said they are on their 7th stop so they're not done yet, I'll call them and call you back. I said are you sure? Are you sure you will call me back because I need to know if I can return to work or stay and wait. She said yes, absolutely they will be in contact with me. It is now 6:30pm- not a single call has been made back to me. So I call FOR THE THIRD TIME to be told oh? Deliveries are done for the day, we can reschedule you for a week from now or 10 days from now. I need my couch- I'm going on almost a month without this couch I purchased. So the soonest obviously. I asked to please, please just put a note or comment or ANYTHING to have my delivery at the end of their day or the first stop so I know to tell my chain of command I will be coming in just a little later than usual or just give me more of a notice. I *cannot* just wait around all day. She said sure but no guarantee. So now I'm waiting another week for my couch with no time frame given as of yet and no guarantee they will take into consideration a single person that is owned by the government's schedule. I'm angry with how the customer service reps handled this, I had to call three times, was promised to be called back and never was. This is the second day I have sat and wasted waiting for my delivery. If you can pick up your own furniture, do so. If you're fortunate to have someone else in the home be there all day and wait, have that. If you are stationed somewhere, don't know anyone yet, are single , and know the burden of trying to be at work but be at home for a delivery, pick another company to work with.

We explained right off the bat that we were building there and would not be down until May. Shannon said no problem as long as we put down a deposit they can hold the furniture. I put down 1000, deposit, then a few weeks later added 600, when they called stating the manager would like something more to continue to hold the order. It is May, we have closed on the home and I paid the 15000 bill for Rooms to go in full. Called to schedule delivery only to find out they only have part of my order. They did not hold it. We have sold everything and are moving there with clothing and pets only. They said they can deliver what they have next week, then another piece a week later, then another piece in JULY, no I am not joking and the final piece in September. Are you kidding me? I have bought a lot of furniture in my 53 years on this earth and have never heard of such business practices. Never. It is dirty and it is underhanded and obviously we will never spend another dime there. How disappointing .
