Vendor booths are well maintained with an array of items from anything vintage -- glassware, linens, toys, furniture, you name it -- to handicrafts and fine art to new with tags. Just went in the other day. I've come to realize that the customer service at this store is awful. Either old ladies with attitudes or young girl with bad attitude. There is one young girl that works there that is nice. The other likes to play her loud rock music to ruin any possibility of a good shopping experience you might have. This even after being asked to change or turn it down. I told her that the music made me want to leave and she did not change it. When I would ask a question about an item, it was always a short answer like she was barking. The other girl was sweet but would not stand up to the hateful one. read more

Out of over 40 name brand items that I took in last month, I supposedly sold only $15.85. I just find this hard to believe. I read the contract before I signed it, but I wish I never had. It states that the store gets to keep 60% of the price of each item, that they can mark items down as they wish, and after 60 days, they won't even give you your clothes back. They also conveniently have a $20 minimum before they write a check. It's absolutely ridiculous! read more

Very cool finds here! Furniture, household items, costume jewelry, handbags etc., They take gently used designer clothing & there are many different booths set up from different vendors. Tons of Vintage clothing/shoes area, tons of unique gifts, household items & some items are new with tags! Hubby & I found all kinds of goodies at this place! We had to return the next day so we could look some more. Haha. Moi found a beautiful, brand new, Vintage party dress with the tags still on it. Fits Perfect OuiOui. Some clothing stuff is not so great, you have to dig a little, however some things are still with their original tags never having been worn. Doing a day of thrifting and we came across Prissy Peacock and decided to check it out. Prices were a bit higher in some booths but I found a small item I was looking for. We asked if there was a restroom for my friend and we were told no public restroom but my friend could go next door. I must have given her an annoyed look because what came next made it clear I was not a welcome customer. Two women working one register and the line was really long and slow. I told my friend to go to the restroom next door while I waited in line. Several people ahead of me had very full carts so they offered for me to go ahead of them. After they rang up the current customer, they started scolding me telling me that there were other customers ahead of me. It took me and several other customers repeating that they had offered to let me ahead of them. I paid in cash and they gave me my change in the smallest denominations possible- .78 and the gave me 12 nichols, one dime and the rest in Pennie's. Neither of these ladies belong in customer service. And to have a business that draws a generally older crowd should be ashamed to not offer the bathroom to customers. We go thrifting about once a month but will not return to this store! Boo too bad customer service! read more

I consigned a great many clothing items here. Among the items were almost new leather purses and dresses with the original tags. After 3 1/2months, I visited the store and looked for my items. I could not find one single item for sale; yet the owners said the items had not been sold. This did not make sense to me. I would not advise anyone to consign their items at this store. Good selection of vendor items and consignment clothing. They run sales often. You can use your credit from your own sales towards purchases. I always find something unique at Prissy Peacock. I bought a repurposed dresser here & love it. Got a great price. I find the staff friendly- especially Glenda. She is so sweet!!! read more

I WONT COME BACK! It was my second times coming this place to purchase toddler girl boutique clothings today. My three years old daughter grabbed couple secondhand Barbie dolls with a toy horse. I didn't check the prices and I purchased everything she had in her hand and after that I checked the receipt on the way to the parking lot. that tiny used toy horse was $7.50 and i went back in the store immediately and told the same ashier, I'd like to return this. She said sorry no you can't. Well, I'll go buy my girls boutique clothing somewhere else. read more

Don't trust them. I dropped off over 18 very nice business dresses and over 12 pairs of dress shoes and they 'lost' them. After 2 months I called them and was told I had 12.78 on my account. I called them in another 2 months and I had the same amount in my account. I asked them to gather my clothes and I would pick them up. There was only 5 dresses and a few pairs of shoes. They didn't know where all the rest of them were. When speaking to a business associate about my experience she told me she had the same thing happen to her. She brought 2 very nice formal dresses and they lost them. WHAT A SCAM!!! Don't trust them. I would have rather donated my clothes to charity than to the Prissy Peacock. read more
