Beast from the East can be found within the walls of Cruzrs Saloon. One of our friends forgot their ID that night, so we ordered food to go. I got the JD Philly, just to stick with the Philly Cheesesteak I had been wanting. I went with the Whiz and Sports Fries (seasoned) in the combo. We took our food to Millcreek Commons to have dinner and chat. The food was good. It could have definitely used some green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Othet than that, I was happy with my decision. The fries were good too. The other options looked delicious! I will definitely have to go back and try the other options; and for a round or two of pool!

It was the Monday during the holiday break after Christmas where no one is wanting to cook, so it seemed like everyone had the same idea of going out to eat. We had a party of 5 and waited at the bar for 15 minutes until our table was ready. Service was super friendly and wonderful. When we were seated, our server Sebastian was great. I forgot how much I love their garden burger patty and their garlic rosemary fries. They also have a spicy black bean option for the vegetarians/vegans. Obviously they have a ton of great options for the meat eaters primarily, I mean it's a burger bar how could they not. Needless to say, I won't be forgetting about this place ever again! Dice bar vibes on the inside, and in the summer they have a lovely patio too.

Their patio is great. Our server, Juan, was awesome. He checked on us just the right amount and was very knowledgeable on the menu!! For drinks, I got a Diet Coke (duh), and my husband got a beer. The Diet Coke came in a HUGE glass (as it should!!) and the brew was good. He got the rabbit foot brewing beach bunny and really enjoyed it. Juan let us know people have been loving this and that the owner of lucky 13 is involved with rabbit foot brewing. Love a local connection!! For food, I got the celestial burger and my husband got the ol man. Omg they were delicious!! They are on the pricier side, but the portions are BIG. Could def be shared. Their onion rings are amazing. I tried the rosemary garlic fries and they were delicious!! I would def recommended checking out lucky 13!!

I loved it the last time I came and it sounded good again. Let's start off that today is Thursday night and it is packed in here. There's no parking, and there are only 3 regular spots and one handicapped spaces. The neighborhood must really hate this restaurant because the streets surrounding this restaurant are filled with cars. We ordered the Importance of Fried Cheese (mozzarella cheese). It was lightly coated and seasoned. However, we found that it needed a touch more salt. Then there's the sauce. The house marinara is to die for. The spices of onions garlic, oregano, and other spices blended well with the chunks of tomatoes turning this mixture into a heavenly dip. I ordered the Sausage King of Chicago with mushrooms. I love this crust! It is light and airy and maintains crunchy. It is so filling that I could only eat two pieces. More leftovers!!! My only complain is that they only put drops of that heavenly marinara sauce on each slice. Next time I will ask for them to put extra sauce on my pizza. My wife ordered a keto pepperoni and olive pizza. Her crust was made out of sausages. She loved it! We all had the pizzas we wanted and had yummy leftovers. Even though the parking sucks, I can't wait to go back!

The vibes in there are cool and relaxed. Staff is great and quick to respond to your needs. Though I haven't been able to try their pizza, I know that everyone LOVES the pizza flavors they offer. I recently bought a few pizzas here for a friend because I knew that typically most people are very satisfied with Nomad East pizza. She was very happy with her pizza! One thing to note is that their wedge salad with ranch is INCREDIBLE. You guys...I could drink that ranch. It is a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Get it. It's worth it. Also, their family style salad with golden raisins is delicious. I could eat both of these salads often. My picture isn't anything special...but look at those pickles...YUM.

Our waitress was extremely kind and engaging, offering wonderful suggestions and also some recommendations for local things to do while we were visiting Salt Lake City. To start, we decided to try the esquites as well as the tomatoes and melon salad. Both were extremely flavorful and full of fresh ingredients. I could have easily eaten several portions of both and been content. For our pizza, we decided to try the Popeye's pizza. We both agreed that it was a unique pizza that neither one of us would probably experience anywhere else, and we did not regret it. To finish, we tried the lemon custard, and it was the perfect tangy way to end our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed this little neighborhood eatery and if I were a local, this would be one of my favorite go to places.
