Perhaps I am biased as my best friend owns it but, their is no other place quite like it and it is where I feel most at home. They have a vast selection of lovely beers, spirits and now, even a lovely gluten free beer! Although, that may have been purchased especially for me. If you ever have a chance to come to this beautiful market town of Ampthill, be sure to stop in. You will meet the loveliest and most welcoming bunch of people!

Everyone at the table ordered a starter for themselves, which I'm not used to coming from the USA. I always forget that their portions are smaller. If everyone at the table each ordered both a starter and a main at home, it would be an insane amount of food (LOL). I tried the hummus and pita, as well as the baby chorizo with the creamy dipping sauce which were both pretty good. My main was the best part of the night. I got the chilli, which had beans, quinoa, avocado, and other healthy ingredients. It was much appreciated, as it can be hard to find food that's not heavy in English pubs (a girl can only eat so many pies and fish & chips). It filled me up and I loved every bite, as well as the fact that it came with pita. I tried my husband's margarita pizza and the crust was good too. Cheers to a fun spot with good food! PS: They also had non-alcoholic beer which was nice!
