We live in Minneapolis and spend our summers here. I was so excited when I drove through town and saw a sushi restaurant. I didn't know what to expect because while the old Thirsty's was a fun place, it was dark and bar-like. But I was pleasantly surprised as the sushi restaurant is in the upstairs and they have made it cute with a lot of live plants. We were able to sit by the windows and have a street view.
But the real treat was the sushi! It was inventive and there were SO many options. I'm not one who likes mayo sauce on my sushi and often it is hard to find choices, but they had so many options you could get pretty much anything you wanted (including cooked options). I have had sushi many places and this was as good as what we can get in the cities.
My favorite part? The old Thirsty's menu is back so everyone in your party can get what they want - whether it be sushi, steak, or bar food. They even managed to round up a Sutter Home Cabernet for me! (A wine list would be a great add, but hey, I recognize I am in the minority here.)
Feel super lucky that they decided to open in DL. Totally worth stopping in to try it out! read more
