Since this place is right across from Leever's, it was convenient enough to stop in and get a few beers and wine. The place is well stocked and carries some interesting beers from the Midwest and also some domestic wines. Don't expect to find anything imported here. My only gripe was when we checked out one night, the clerk was chatting with me and a cute friend and offered us small cans of Bud for to-go. And although a nice gesture, I can only say WTF? This is encouraging drinking and driving. Sigh, I swear some things in the Midwest is really backwards. Needless to say, we didn't decline free beer, but we also didn't crack it open in the car. We waited until much later to have the beer when at home and in the safety of our abode and knew we weren't going to be driving.
