Old Slip Park is a park located north of Water street and South of Pine Street in the Financial District. It's located in one of New York City's busiest neighborhoods! The park sits on the site of Old Slip, one of Manhattan's original slip where ships once docked to unload cargo in the 18th and 19th centuries. Over time, the slip was filled in and the area became a center of trade!
The park is relatively small, but there are a bunch of benches to sit down and relax. There are plenty of trees for coverage as well! There are plantings with flowers in the park too. The park is narrow though, but still a great spot to sit and relax at!
If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, the Hungry Pearl is nearby, a food court with a lot of different vendors, or you can pick up some food by a nearby street cart and eat at the bench! read more
