Bowlers bringing their own equipment should know about our experience…read more Our bowling ball sustained extensive gouging while we were bowling here, as shown in the attached photo. The staff mechanic dismissed it as "normal lane wear" and pointed to a sign stating they were not responsible for damaged bowling balls. In my opinion, the damage pictured goes well beyond reasonable wear from normal bowling. The manager eventually agreed to replace the ball, which we appreciated, and suggested having it drilled elsewhere. However, when we went to collect the replacement, the pro shop refused to release it unless we surrendered the damaged ball. We explained that the shop drilling the replacement would need the original to copy its layout. Staff suggested taking a picture and would not release the new ball otherwise. What should have been a straightforward effort to resolve the damage became a three-way disagreement between us, the bowling alley, and its pro shop. At this point, the replacement simply is not worth the aggravation. They can keep the new ball. We will purchase our own replacement and will not return to this venue. If you plan to bowl here with your own equipment, I strongly suggest photographing its condition beforehand and getting a clear explanation of how damage claims, replacement, and drilling costs are handled. Based on our experience, getting a problem resolved can be more frustrating than the damage itself.

We brought our teenagers there and they had a blast. No alcohol is served, so the kids can stay until they close. The ticketed games also pay out well. The best thing about this place vs the other video game places is.......if you don't play, you don't have to pay. This is not true for other gaming places. It's nice to bring your kids and let them play and the parents/adults who aren't paying can sit and chit chat. SO AMAZING!!! The staff were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely return. He loved getting tokens to play games and get tickets and redeem them for candy and toys. Coming here is such a core memory and so nostalgic. I love that it's all you can play. All the larger arcades are so expensive and pay per play so I love their all you can play model. I'm devastated by the news and hope that the community will come together to help them. I know I'll be doing my part.

Admission was $12 per person, and nearly all the arcade games are included with admission. Play as much as you want! We easily spent 3-4 hours here, and everyone had a great time. With the Texas temperatures blazing outside, an air-conditioned arcade was also a pretty darn good place to spend the afternoon! There is a huge selection of games with plenty for both kids and adults. Basketball, racing, classic arcade games--you can wander around for hours. Then my son-in-law discovered the claw machines. Once he started, it snowballed into stuffed toy after stuffed toy. By the time he was finished, we had enough stuffed animals spread across the table to open our own toy store! Be warned, though: the claw machines are NOT included with admission and you pay separately to play. Apparently nobody bothered explaining that to my son-in-law before he went into full claw-machine domination mode! We also ordered pizza, and it was very good. It's a thin-crust style, loaded with toppings and made for a perfect break between games. Of course, with a name like Cidercade, we had to sample the cider! There were plenty of choices, and the ones we tried were very good. For $12 admission and several hours of entertainment, I think Cidercade is an outstanding value. More importantly, our grandson had a fantastic birthday outing and the entire family enjoyed themselves.
