It is hard to rate Town East Mall when there are so many great franchises that reside in this…read moreestablishment. The reason for the low rating is that the management does not value the money the franchises are giving them by using some of the money to keep up the grounds which includes security and managing the restrooms. Is there security, yes. Are they helpful, no. They either stand up as a group and chat or sit in their vehicle rather than patrolling the grounds and deterring bad behavior. Moreover, the restrooms are out of order, with no regular maintenance to ensure they stay clean and well stocked. (See pictures of how the men's restroom looked for the week of Black Friday and how much worse it got by the Christmas holidays.) I feel the store options in this mall is top quality, yet the management needs to pay more attention to keeping the grounds up which includes expectations for the security staff they hire. Do more for the people, Town East Mall management team? We deserve for our community similar events that North Park Mall and the Galleria offer their guests.

They also are very organized. The prices could be better for a thrift store. Shoes are generally 8-10 $. Men and women's clothes range from 2.99-10.00 a piece. They have a lot of costume jewelry, purses, artwork and a room dedicated to books and media. Ladies who work there are always friendly and nice. There is a back room that is stocked with large kid toys, linens, cookware, small appliances and some furniture items. The back room isn't air-conditioned but they have several large fans going in there. The sheets are 99 cents and the pillowcases are .75 cents. I think that is an awesome price. Big plus is a dressing room and bathroom. Nice overhead music that doesn't drive you crazy while shopping.

It looks like they mop the floors every morning. As far as their inventory, almost every piece of furniture looks as if it came from the showroom floor. No particle board furniture in this store. The appliances they sell are gently used, reasonably priced, and Searcey's has every price point. I have bought several items from Searcey's and everything is fantastic. I liked going in to look because they were a cash only store. Which means, I would have to think about my purchase while going to the bank. Well, they take credit & debt cards now.
