The company who makes the bags is from London. All kinds of sizes and unique designs! One of the ladies who worked there explained the company and the different designs. The Lewes Blooming Boutique had a bigger selection of this line (Vendula). I went to the Lewes Blooming Boutique and they did have a bigger selection of these cute bags. The owner was there and she told me the bag I was interested in would be arriving at her Lewes store in the next week . I gave them my contact information and they called me the following week to tell me the bag I was interested in had come in! The owner, the people who work at both Longneck and the Lewes store are all helpful and kind. I love shopping local and enjoy great customer service. Really wasn't in the need to buy anything, but it doesn't hurt to look. Basic setup that you would find in any of their other outlet stores. Large space that is filled to the brim with their shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, etc. I always love their hoodies so I spent a good portion of my time browsing that section. Did I need to? No, but I did anyway. Staff were pleasant and made sure I was taken care of. They also made me aware of the sales they were having and that if I needed anything to just ask.

I suppose you have to realize that not all outlet malls contain outlet stores exclusively. You learn that the hard way if you venture outside of your general area. Off my soapbox now, let me tell you about my experience, which is a genuine one. Quite the shocker compared to the other reviews. The suitcase I had bought from a department store less than a year ago was already becoming tattered. I knew that Samsonite stores are usually found in a mall type setting. I made my way here and went inside. Upon entry, their sale was clearly posted as to what is being offered. Completely visible, completely aware. I was greeted and the sales were stated again. I went about looking at other options until I needed some assistance. I asked the employee, Laura, her opinion on the options, she really stepped up. She first pointed out what was on sale, and I already knew I wasn't going to be purchase that. We then moved onto the most popular, but this was also the most durable. I wanted hard shell, easy to move, and functional. She knew everything about the item, except for which color I would want. One of the biggest selling points about this was the fact that their warranty is top tier. Laura broke it down for me that no matter the damage, they would repair of at the worst, replace. All you have to do is make sure your item is registered and be able to get to a location for them to send it out to be fixed. With that, and the sale going on, I was sold. I got a new suitcase that is amazing and will last me for years. Great customer service, and I think they just found themselves a new lifetime customer.

Yet, the store employee who said she was the manager gave me a super hard time and was even refusing to do the transaction until another employee told her yes, it was ok to do. I don't understand what the problem was- and why I was badly treated as a paying customer. How can a manager not know they take returns?

I went online today to order it and they are charging me $9.99 for shipping. So I contact EddieBauer.com customer service to inquire about a shipping consideration and they told me that I should have the rep place the order for me in store so that I can get free shipping. I'm now 227 miles away, so that is not possible. Store managers should properly train their employees to suggest that they place the order so as to save shipping costs. This is frustrating to learn that they could have saved me money, but either were too lazy or poorly trained. Also the store itself needs a little TLC. It's dark, has a funky odor and looks very dated. You won't survive like this, and it's a shame.
