I had the pleasure of visiting MGT and Toggery several weeks ago while in RB. I took the time to…read morewalk through the shop and study the clothing as I wanted to form my own opinions about the offerings, the owner's thinking towards his selections, and to form an opinion about his style. Michael carries brand names which are not readily found at the outlets such as Rodd and Gunn and Castaway of Nantucket. He also carries brands which are designed and manufactured under various French labels. The shop is small so Michael's selections of clothing and brand names have to be spot on...and they are. I found Michael to be very helpful in explaining the size, cut, and quality of clothing labels with which I was unfamiliar. My initial reaction to his clothing selections focused on a much younger demographic. I was, however, pleasantly surprised that mature men can wear his clothing with equal style and fit. (It also helps that a Golden Retriever greets you at the door as I have six Goldens). The sartorial offerings seem to change frequently thus suggesting regular visits. If only cognac or wine were served casually weekend afternoons to serious customers...life would be more wonderful! I found the best means to connect with Michael to inquire about specific brands is through social media under the shop's name. This worked well in a recent purchase. I would encourage anyone visiting RB to visit MGT and Toggery on Baltimore Avenue. Much has changed in the RB I knew as a child. But one thing that RB has always provided its visitors and residents is a fine selection of unique shops and shopping experiences. It is important to support small and local shop owners. Retail trends suggest a return to small shops and personal service. MGT and Toggery is one such shop.

This men's shop is a very nice addition to Rehoboth. Items are unique and for the most part don't…read moreduplicate what you can find elsewhere in town or at the outlets. Owner is congenial and love his dog Gracie! If nothing else - stop in to see the pooch.

Best logo tee for the summer! Thank you for helping me decide what shirt and sizing to go for :)read more

Let me start this off by saying I would love to support small businesses any chance I get- but some…read morebusiness just aren't worth supporting. Quite literally any surf shop between bethany and rehobeth beach is better than this one. I went in to buy a tshirt and two stickers. Was offered a bag, said yes please, and went about my day. Keep in mind the bag is blue. About 2 blocks down the road (10 min tops) I notice i'm suddenly COVERED in blue dye- on myself, my clothing, and may I add a BRAND NEW $40 tshirt bought yesterday from Quiet Storm in Rehoboth (pictures attached below). I calmy way my way back to the store. The cashier was so helpful, very apologetic, and offered to call her manager. The manager stated their "refund policy" which says no refunds are accepted and they only give store credit. I explained my newly bought shirt from them INSIDE the bag was safe from the blue dye so i did not need that shirt returned. However I did want a refund due to compensation of blue dye ALL OVER myself and brand new clothing. The manager refused and offered to call the owner. We waited in the store for about 15-20 minutes for the manager to relay the same message from the owner. They offered no refund, no compensation, only offered to give another one of their shirts. Not sure about you, but after a business just ruins a BRAND new shirt due to cheap bags- i'm simply not interested in supporting them by wearing another shirt with their name on it. The refusal to give me a refund due to their greediness & lack of accountability is quite literally mind-blowing. I've never seen a small business ESPECIALLY in Dewey Beach be so money hungry they forget to have a single ounce of consideration. This screams cheap, and we don't have money to do half of what's right. The quality of merch displays this perfectly. I would avoid this place at all costs, the only good thing about this place was the kindness of the cashier though dealing with HORRENDOUS management. I would highly recommend checking out surf shops in Bethany Beach or Quiet Storm in Rehobeth. All will be a million times better than this place & you won't leave being a canvas to a cheap bag. Awful establishment. EDIT: I did demand a refund bc your cheap bags ruined my shirt. I offered to give back the one I just purchased in exchange for my money back. Trust me i'd much rather have the shirt I was wearing CLEAN and UNDAMAGED than 2 of your shirts. If your store policy stated you had cheap bags that would stain me and my clothes I wouldn't have purchased from here in the first place. It was not raining when I left and unfortunately not my fault bags can't be stored properly.
