One of the employees of this Knoxville company wore the same pair of pants every day for a year for demonstration purposes. They are tailored to the individual shopper; who does THAT any more? Attractive, rugged and comfortable. Did I mention inexpensive? No? Well, that was not an oversight. But when you figure the time and money saved on future shopping trips to replace them, still a bargain. Add to that the satisfaction of buying Made in America--and buying local, if you live in East Tennessee--and these pants are, indeed, a bargain.

Ken is right that is is an endless sea of orange and white on every type of item imaginable. We spent a few hours here looking at the vast amount of stickers, glasses, wall art, hats, jackets, jewelry, athletic gear, polos, tees, purses, shoes, stuffed animals, etc. A large selection of kids stuff, too, and a sizable clearance section in the back. My shopping abhorrent hubby giggled like a small child as we tried on seemingly millions of Vols goodies trying to find some gems during faculty appreciation week...with a sweet discount. This is (by far) our favorite place to find Vols merch in East TN and more affordable than some competitors.

I ended up picking up my favorite lip gloss here, Smith's rosebud salve and a beautiful lace choker because apparently 90's fashion is back. Never use John H. Daniel! I had them make three suits in 1989, thirty years ago. They were…read morewonderful, the fit was perfect right out of the box. So earlier this year, I decided to take advantage of their two-for-one offer. The results were terrible. So far, I've spent an additional $500+ to have them recut. They are way better, but I'm still not satisfied. What happened to 1989's John Daniels? When I first tried the two suits on in their store, the jackets looked okay from the front. But when I went home to show my wife, she asked "Did you see the back?" She pulled out a hand mirror and showed me. I was horrified. At that point, I realized that there are no longer any triple mirrors in the Daniels store. You'll never see the back of anything you try on. And the person who filled my order and could obviously have seen the problem... he hadn't said a thing. Then the trousers: I specifically specified a trim fit. They came back cut like pantaloons. I went back to Daniels and asked for remedial tailoring. They took the coats and the pants, but when I got them back, took them home, looked in two mirrors, nothing seemed to have been done. Okay, I can understand someone in a faraway place miscutting a suit. But the person at Daniels saw what had been done. He was experienced in his job, and he said nothing. Did he think I wouldn't notice? That's not okay with me. Stay away!

It was very organized and laid out nicely. It reminded me of a department store with a country general store vibe. It was modern yet old fashioned, if that makes any sense. It's hard to describe but it had a very pleasant & inviting ambiance. The store personnel were cordial and happily offered their help. I was only browsing when I espied a counter with popcorn. Of course I ordered a bag and it was pretty good. The young lady who attended to me was very sweet & friendly. My brother bought a couple of t-shirts, my daughter bought a top and I bought some snacks & more popcorn. Pricing was reasonable on most items yet others were pricey like some of the clothing and accessories. We really enjoyed shopping at this store and look forward to coming back.

They did have some, but they were generic. I wanted something more specific to the area. There is a parking garage nearby. The area is super busy and you may have to walk a ways to get to the store. Even though I prefer to shop online, the Lane Bryant on Washington pike always make me feel welcome each week. The fitting room is always fresh and clean and the staff doesn't follow me around the store trying to get me to buy everything in my size.
