Love this store! We come to Knoxville just to see their latest selection of shirts. Stopped in today about bought 6 Norris Lake t-shirts. Nothing to Fancy is donating the proceeds from the sale of this shirt to the charity Wake the World Norris Lake. WTW bring kids, who would otherwise not have an opportunity, to Norris Lake for a day of fun! Man, I can love a totally awesome store that also cares about their community!!

This is a good place to see some unique shirts and souvenirs for Knoxville and Tennessee. Some are funny trash taking for Vols over other SEC teams. High schools or suburbs towns have some shirts. Many other items and vintage items with Tennessee theme. Smokey's Have a section with many shirts for the mountains. Only negative is that most are pricy. Good quality soft tees are nice. We bought a few and will stop in again.

What a cool little shop that has all kinds of neat things with Tennnessee on their items. Prices were very reasonable. They even had wood sunglasses. Yes. Wood sunglasses. They were even named brand. Something different, you dont see those everyday. Would recommend if your wanting anything with the Tennessee 3-star symbol on them.

One block off of market square, this wonderfully curated store filled with locally designed and/or made "souvenirs" is so unique you'll regret buying trinkets at the airport! From uniquely designed t-shirt designs on the softest cotton tees to super fun stickers and classy postcards - not to mention the locally crafted watches and sunglasses made from wood - this shop offers something for everyone. I stopped in twice while in town and chatted up the shop manager both times - the kindest and most helpful of people! If you want a creative and fun gift for someone back home - or even something for yourself - stop in! You're sure to find something you love!

The store is a treasure trove, offering high-end camping gear alongside a nostalgic selection of candy sold by weight. This wide angle creates a unique shopping experience that caters to a depth of audience. The aisles are stocked with university-branded apparel and an eclectic mix of knick-knacks and toys, blending modern and vintage elements seamlessly. Navigating through the store I found myself drawn to the carefully curated sections featuring well-known brands like L.L. Bean and Patagonia, each showcasing top-tier camping gear. The store's commitment to quality is evident in every product, promising durability and reliability for outdoor enthusiasts. The candy aisle is what is the most impressive to me having all of the old-school candy and the ability to buy what you want per the weight or even a separate bag for gifts later on to family member members makes this experience truly wonderful. Overall, Mast General Store offers a distinctive blend of functionality and fun, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking unique finds or quality outdoor equipment. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of what this gem has to offer. RATINGS & LOGISTICS: - Atmosphere: 10/10 - Exhibit Quality: 8/10 - Service/Flow: 8/10 - Value: 9/10 - Would Return: Yes. There is an entire downstairs that offers clothing brands like Columbia, Vuori, and more! There is some camping gear and camping shoes. It was an unexpected surprise to find that section. Above, there is a selection of clothes, candies, gifts, and other goods to look at. It is fun to walk the store and see everything they had to offer. I was looking for a Christmas ornament. They did have some, but they were generic. I wanted something more specific to the area. There is a parking garage nearby. The area is super busy and you may have to walk a ways to get to the store. Stay pet friendly, this is a lovely perk to visiting!

So earlier this year, I decided to take advantage of their two-for-one offer. The results were terrible. So far, I've spent an additional $500+ to have them recut. They are way better, but I'm still not satisfied. What happened to 1989's John Daniels? When I first tried the two suits on in their store, the jackets looked okay from the front. But when I went home to show my wife, she asked "Did you see the back?" She pulled out a hand mirror and showed me. I was horrified. At that point, I realized that there are no longer any triple mirrors in the Daniels store. You'll never see the back of anything you try on. And the person who filled my order and could obviously have seen the problem... he hadn't said a thing. Then the trousers: I specifically specified a trim fit. They came back cut like pantaloons. I went back to Daniels and asked for remedial tailoring. They took the coats and the pants, but when I got them back, took them home, looked in two mirrors, nothing seemed to have been done. Okay, I can understand someone in a faraway place miscutting a suit. But the person at Daniels saw what had been done. He was experienced in his job, and he said nothing. Did he think I wouldn't notice? That's not okay with me. Stay away!

We enjoyed perusing the shop looking at all the fun Knick knacks and gift ideas for Christmas. Great items for little kids to put in their stocking. My 4yr old nephew likes the stuffed animals and cute pens. My daughter came in to look for a sticker that said Knoxville TN which she found. I would have loved to buy something but I didn't because of the rude service. I give the shop selection a 5/5. Service: We were never greeted or even given a courtesy hello at the register. While we were perusing toward the back of the store we heard someone coughing and struggling with breathing. I am CPR trained and recognized she was chocking. I went to the front where she was located. I then asked her if she was chocking and she gave the universal sign grabbing her throat. I helped her take her back pack off and did the Heimlich. She was still struggling to breathe. After the first attempt I did it a second time she was still struggling to breathe. I turned to the workers tell them to call 911 but they didn't even move or look at me. And then did one more attempt, and she was able to spit out what was in her throat. She was crying and able to breathe after. She thanked me and I went back to my family. When I got to the register, I was telling my daughter that the woman was OK and what I had done. The workers at the register didn't even say anything they didn't say thank you. They didn't say is she OK and I know clearly they could hear the whole conversation if I could hear her coughing when I was close to the register. We purchased what we needed and we left. Disappointed at their reaction. I'm sure if there is cameras it was caught, as I was at the entrance. Again the rating would be less if just the service!!!! 2/5 Great shop, bad service!
