The prices are more than like a Goodwill but you're getting items that you could have just picked up in the store basically and they also have top brands and even boutique items. But after going to several professional outings, and never being able to find the right dress when the time is near, I've been led me to Express to peruse for the perfect ensemble while I have the time to look. I ended up buying 4 dresses and originally I was only going to buy 2, but one of the sales people told me to check online for a coupon and that I could use it on my purchase today. All the sales people were really helpful and professional, and thanks to Mr. Coupon I left very satisfied with 4 dresses instead of 2. Pretty much one can never go wrong with dresses and jeans from here. I've had tops in the past, and while most are pretty and well made, I'm not a fan of their regular tees, they fit really awkwardly. I will definitely be back, maybe even later today, because I do need a new pair of jeans too.

Back in the day, Dots was known as the $10 store where everything was $10 or less - that is not the case anymore by far but they are still pretty reasonable. I can go in and find nothing or leave there spending $100 easily with BAGS of stuff from shoes, to accessories, clothing or coats. I bought a pair of boots not that long ago and I love them. They are like the generic version of Uggs and they are warm and cozy. I lost a button on one and went in to see if they had anymore or any buttons I could buy. They did not but the girl working there offered to take my boots and have me put on a new pair and she was sending mine back to corporate as damaged because I didn't have them that long and the button fell off. I was shocked and in disbelief. Are you serious? I said to her. Sure thing, she took my boots, I put on a brand new pair and she even cut off a couple of buttons off my old pair so I had back ups if needed. I bought another pair of the same boots in a different color and walked out with 2 new pairs for the price of one. WOW - Now THAT is customer service! This was a rare event and I really appreciate this sales person going out of her way to help me on this. Anyhow, I was in the store for probably 15-20 minutes and no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed any help (even though one staff person was right beside me a few times putting clothes back on the rack). At first I was surprised and thought that I should say something to them, like "hey how are you doing" etc. However, they never stopped talking amongst the 4 of them - so much so that if I had said anything I would have felt like I was interrupting them! It was very disappointing and unusual - they didn't even take time to say have a good day or anything when I left. There was a Desigual t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase but I decided I wasn't going to give them my business since I had felt unwelcome and ignored. I went home and ordered online. Well, we'd both be underestimating this store. Before Christmas I needed a red dinner jacket to play an updated Santa. I found nothing at any other retailer here or in Chicago. Until I tried Men's Wearhouse. The really helpful staff showed me just what I needed. While they didn't have my size in stock, they did have my size in a different color so I could avoid ordering the wrong fit. Then when ringing it up, we discovered that it was going on sale the next day. They gave me the lower price and had it delivered to my home in 4 days.

I was called down to try on the suit, they had me try on someone else's tux and then told that they didn't have my info and had to re-measure me. I was late returning the suit as they were closed by the time I tried to return the next day; I will own that one. When I asked to wave late fee, due to the difficulty of needing to come down three separate times for measurement, they would not. Not once was accountability for the lack of organization taken, but rather displacement of fault; I will never go back there nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone.
