What can you say? It's Old Navy. I love the 50% off sales. They have great denim and usually get a pair during their sales.

This is 2023 and Narrative Space is now almost exclusively a barber shop (they don't sell boots and…read moreshirts anymore). I looked online for a hair-cutting place that did both men and women (I am a woman). I didn't want a fancy-looking salon. Narrative has a lovely, old-fashioned look and feel. Their web site said their prices were $40, $45, or $50.00. MUCH too expensive, but I realized I was paying for ambience. My barber was Michael Clark. (One got whoever was free when you arrived.) I showed him 2 sets of drawings of the cut I wanted (front and profiles, the difference between the 2 sets being where I wanted the main curve to be: a little higher or a little lower. To begin with the outcome: The drawings clearly showed that the hair should be even with my chin. It ended up, in fact, 2 inches too short...... just below my ears. The cutting experience was very weird. On 4 occasions, he grabbed the hair at the very top of my head and repeatedly pulled it up and down, as if he were washing something on a scrub board. I don't know what on earth that was about. The way he was separating strands and cutting was quite baffling to me. There seemed to be no organization to it. Unfortunately, I was unaware of how short it was getting. I was focusing on it covering my ears. At the end, it didn't even fall nicely and I had to do some repairs when I went home. Unfortunately it was too short to do all the repairs it needed. He had paid no attention to my drawings or instructions. I knew what the price was before I sat down in the chair. This is embarrassing. I paid $70.00 for this cut.

I had done research on local salons, and Narrative Space was at the top of my list. I really liked…read morethe fact that Chris Burnett had both clipper and scissor expertise. My research paid off. Chris did a great job on my hair - short and tight on the sides and textured on top. Great haircut and great shop - cool original barber chairs, warm, industrial Instagram worthy design and a fab shop pup to boot.

I needed a suit for my brother's wedding, but I was only going to be in town for 10 days. When I…read morewent in to try on suits, I was assisted by Ron, who used his expertise to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I ended up finding a suit that I thought was perfect, but they didn't have the pants in my size at the store. Also, the jacket would need to be tailored to fit me properly. I was convinced that they'd have to ship the suit to me, seeing as though I'd be gone in just a few days. I had just accepted that fact. Imagine my surprise then when I got a call from Ron shortly thereafter, telling me that my pants had arrived and were ready to pick up! When I went in to get my pants, I spoke with Hong, who was tailoring my jacket. When I had explained to him my situation, he told me he'd try his best to get my fitted jacket to me before I had to leave. Again, I wasn't expecting a miracle, and was prepared to just have my jacket shipped to me. I received another call THE NEXT DAY! It was Hong, who, true to his word, worked hard to get my jacket tailored and ready to pick up in record time! All and all, the staff at this Men's Wearhouse went above and beyond for me! Thanks to Ron, Hong, and everyone at this location for their awesome service! I'd highly recommend them for anyone in the market for a good suit

My dad (father of the bride) went to pick his tux up when it arrived for the wedding and the jacket size was about 3 sizes too small. They said they would send out to get a new one. Well the new one didn't arrive until late morning on my wedding day and my dad had to drive from Sylvan Beach to New Hartford to pick it up, and missed out on important moments and photos from my wedding day because of it. And the female manager was extremely rude to him when he went to pick it up, acting like it was his fault they ordered the wrong size! To top it all off, the sleeves of his new jacket were way too long and the sleeves of the father of the grooms jacket were way too short! Save yourself the stress, don't go there

About a year…read moreago, I walked-in to buy a suit for my sister's wedding, and left with two suits, three shirts, and three ties after being given plenty of excellent recommendations. Dawn was helpful and informative, and helped me to pick out suits according to what I was looking for. After a few measurements I had an attire ready to go all within an hour (30-45 mins). Suits and shirts fitted perfectly and just needed to get the pants hemmed, which they did same day, since I was from out of town. She also offered great suggestions on shirt and tie combos for a variety of occasions...way better than anything I would have come up with. Personally, I'd also like to thank Jamel, Shannon, and Tiffany, my time there was splendid and fun. Didn't think I'd enjoy picking out suits to wear while talking about sports, investing, and sightseeing. This place has not let me down over this past year and has become my go to place for suits. Service: Let me start on walking in the store. I've been through Jos A Bank's and other suit places throughout NYC and Syracuse, and this Jos A Bank doesn't force any sales on you. Their attention to detail and honesty makes them so different from these other suit places. The sales people here are very attentive, honest, and take their time with every customer from the beginning to the end. The entire staff knows their stuff and are very patient and friendly! Makes the whole process so easy! Pricing: 2 suits for $199? Are you kidding me? The quality is not even bad for this price, I've had mine for the past year, and no damages. Just don't be careless and take care of your suits. They also had a clearance sale of $90, but I know the standard pricing for a suit is $199, which is still not bad! Compared to renting which is about the same price and you actually get to keep it. Alterations: Very convenient to have expert tailors that carry suits and they're fair priced! Everyone was very patient with me, willing to tailor and re-tailor until the suit was perfect. Both Tiffany and Shannon took the time to get all my measurements correct. I had the sleeves of the jacket adjusted and taken in at the waist. They also tapered my pants and gave me a half break. I was impressed that they had no problem when I requested having darts added to my dress shirt. I have requested this at other tailors and they have flat out refused. Picked up my suit today and it looks great! Thanks for the hard work and attention to detail. I mean the hemming are just $10. Side adjustments on the jackets are $20, etc. very honest in what alterations you need, and at the same time, not pushy about it. Turnaround time is very reasonable, and may even do same day hemming! As long as you don't catch them at their busy days. But the average is about a week. So make sure to get your alterations ahead of time just in case! Don't slack and wait last minute, their busy business just says something about their quality services. Thanks for taking care of me for the past year! If you're looking for a suit place or alterations, I highly recommend this place.
