Walked into the store today during a conversation between a brunette, female employee and some…read morepotential customers--an older-ish couple. While deliberating over the purchase of a sweater as a gift for someone else, they casually discussed another similar-colored one they'd seen elsewhere. But instead of helping them decide between the two or just saying nothing (because that's what sales people are supposed to do), the employee said, "Then you should just go there." The couple left. So did I. But not before listening to the employee disparage the elderly couple, make fun of some woman's choice of holiday movies, and complain about the challenges of being 30. So if you're keen on a shopping experience with a bunch of hyper privileged white women judging you and being privy to possibly the most annoying conversation ever, come here! But if you're anything like me, don't. Too bad too, cause I probably would've bought something.

Prices are a bit expensive tho. Lowk just stop by for the dopamine.

He's an old hippie who lived and worked as a teacher in California most of his life and then ended up moving to New Hope and buying a place for a song which he fixed up. He lives over the shop which helps keep his overhead down in a town where rent can be a killer and really drive up the price of the merchandise. Joel has a wild mix of old and new. He's got a full array of vintage mugs from different time periods, along with many awesome selections of hand made, one of a kind pottery mugs and bowls. He also has other interesting kitchen kitsch and a hodgepodge of artsy brickabrack and art. Very cool place. Recommended.

Ask to see their upstairs storage room where a lot of heir inventory is stored in a more warehouse like environment, but there is a lot to see there. After reading some unfavorable reviews on TripAdvisor from 2025, I was a little worried about what…read morewe would encounter during our visit yesterday. As it turned out, the experience could not have been more positive! It's a beautiful and well-maintained property with ample parking. The alpaca stables (males in one, females in the other) were very clean, and the 26 alpacas are clearly loved and cared for. They were gorgeous, friendly, and healthy. The staff, mostly (if not all) volunteers, were lovely, from the young adult (late teens, early 20s) guides who accompanied us on the 20-minute walk with our assigned alpacas, to the senior ladies working in the gift shop. The gift shop has a wide range of lavender and alpaca wool products, as well as related themed products. I would up spending $36 on a variety of items, some of which were perfect, low-cost gifts. In response to the TripAdvisor complaints about items being "expensive," I found the prices to be reasonable and normal for homemade, hand-made, and locally sourced items, as well as for specialty items made elsewhere. I can't say enough positive things about the guides who accompanied my friend and I on the walk, and the young man who gave the entire group on our scheduled walk the preliminary background information about the alpacas and what we might expect on the walk. They did an excellent job and were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the walk they make time for pictures to be taken, and the animals seem to know the drill quite well because they obliged without a fuss on a very hot day. Overall I give this experience a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it for all ages.
