Came in with my 1969 GTO. I was given a general project cost and although I know those can be rough estimates I was assured it would be around the estimated cost. Both rear quarter panels were replaced as well as trunk work. Basically my car was a guinea pig for the son to do work on my car. I spent roughly 10k for work that is having to be overhauled now when what I was told I was going to beg was top of the line work. Worst part was they were over 4K off on my estimate and slapped together the car at the end just so they could get rid of me. I suggest looking at other shops in the area to prevent the same thing happening to your car. Pictures are of the quarters that were basically smashed in and filled with filler in order to "make it work". Sad they could do that to a customer and a classic car.

In his blazing forge and on his ringing anvil, he hammers out a symphony of beautiful handcrafted knives and solid soulful works of iron. He un-self-consciously fits the image to perfection, a large and burly man with a huge gray beard and enormous solid biceps, he appears to have stepped straight out of time. If you want to understand the spirit of the blade, he offers classes in the forging of knives which I found to be rewarding on many levels. He also has a great reputation for teaching children. I can imagine little more exciting and rewarding for a child than to take a class in blacksmithing with Nicholas. It would be something a child would never forget... In fact it was something that I will never forget either.

I had never done any black smithing before and I was worried I would end up with a sad lumpy mess, but Nick is an amazing teacher and really works with you to teach you how to make a knife. I have taken other hands on classes (like glass blowing) where you dont get to actually do anything, but this class you are really learning and getting hands on experience. Because there were 4 of us in the class I was able to start a second knife while the others were using the sander to grind their knives. Nick is obviously super knowledgeable and is happy to explain to you not just how something works, but why. We all walked away with really cool knives and I am looking forward to going back. I highly recommend taking a class at Red Troll Forge!!!!!

I was having a hell of a time trying to find a metal liner for my firepit. The mass-produced…read moreliners online just didn't look great *or strong* and I couldn't find anything that was a good fit. I'm so glad I found Jim & Mighty Fab. He definitely went above and beyond for my small project. He came over for the estimate as promised and gave me a download on what he recommended for my project and we worked together on the details before landing on a final plan. He kept me updated along the build process and the liner turned out pretty sweet with a beautiful custom fit. Worth noting when comparing this custom liner vs the mass produced stuff online- Jim can create a welded one-piece unit that is structural vs. most online stuff is multiple pieces bolted together. Also, check out the seamless top lip- beautiful work! I don't think you'll find a more meticulous fabricator in town - Jim gets it done! Also, it's great to support a small business and an overall really nice guy. Thanks again for the great work Jim - very much appreciated!

Jim responded pretty much immediately with not only a thoughtful, friendly, and great explanation of what his capabilities are, but lots of suggestions of other reputable businesses to try since he couldn't quite do what I wanted. Jim continued to respond promptly and provide lots of great support and suggestions based on my responses. I particularly appreciated Jim's honesty and being so transparent and up-front about the results if he were to do the job with his equipment. Although Jim didn't have the capability to perform what I wanted, I was able to get the job done through following his recommendations. I'd definitely recommend contacting Mighty Fab if you need any metal work done, and I'll definitely keep Mighty Fab in mind for future needs.

Overall a great experience , as a fellow car enthusiast I give frosted finishes my seal of approval…read moreand highly recommend . I called all across town to find a location that would reinstall/paint my front bumper after it had been damaged in cross state transporting. I had the replacement bumper on me as well, which can be a deciding factor for businesses to accept business however I found a reputable body shop that told me to reach out to Frost finishes and was recommended. Upon briefly speaking to Paul(Owner) a couple days before he was very prompt at answering and giving me a quote . He was able to squeeze me in and take me the start of the week. The day of taking it in Paul was able to take a look at the parts and verify everything would be ok before taking off. Very nice guy to work with and it's nice to know we're contributing to the small guys and not corporate. I was impressed by his photos of the work online so I chose to bring in a rear diffuser to quote for install as well, he quoted me on the spot and I was very impressed with his knowledge when I asked him about the install. Was very happy he was able to install it on the sudden. He was able to complete the work in about a day. Upon arrival , the car looked phenomenal. My significant other is a designer and man was she even impressed with the color of the paint match and you could just see the quality of work he puts into his vehicles . A guy with passion showing pure excellence through quality of work .It was a pleasure doing business and would recommend him to anyone . Remember not everything good is cheap and not everything cheap is good however frosted finishes wins in every category . I hope people can contribute to this business and lets make him grow ! Thanks Frosted finishes, I was bummed about the damage before and now it feels good to be in my baby again stress free!
