About 9 months ago I purchased the SD6039, 39 gun safe. I wanted to wait awhile before this review to get a good feel on my purchase- Short review: 5+ stars. Long Review: I was going to purchase a smaller one but am extremely pleased with the larger one- it seems you can always find stuff to place inside. As I went through my research process, I must have called the sales man 5-7 times- He was always available for my questions and even once did a face time conversation so he could answer my question through video- question had to do with the hinges. Once I purchased the safe I was updated by email as my safe was being built. Once built, I was excited to receive it so I called the shipping department, again they answered every curiosity question I had. Delivery: Safe was delivered without a scratch and was placed in my garage. Recommendation: Once you decide on the safe you want purchase the next size up Last: I do not write a lot of recommendations- The product(s) either have to be extremely poor or over the top great. I purchased a safe in 2024 and went to put a gun in the safe and the lock broke. I been trying to get a hold of them for over a month and no one has responded to me. I went to a local lock smith and he even tried to get a hold on Old Glory Safe for me and no answer. Sorry I purchased a safe from this company. read more

On May 11, 2024 I purchased a 46 gun safe for over $5,000. Due to the fires and floods in Ruidoso in June & July it was not delivered to us until August because the delivery truck left it in the Walmart parking lot since the town had been evacuated. The safe sat there, in the rain, for 3 weeks during more flooding until the next moving company that Glory Safes hired could pick it up and store it for them until we could take delivery. The floods continued. Months later we received a bill for $1,500 for storage of the safe. When it finally was delivered the moving company had it in the back of a pickup truck and there was very little protective packaging left. The safe had leaves in it and numerous scars, dents, gashes, scratches and rust plus the door was ajar and hit a young black employee of the movers that Glory Safe hired. The movers couldn't close it. We could hardly believe our eyes so we took pictures and were very nervous of the comedy of errors that were about to happen. Yes, they dropped it three times, first when the dolly completely gave away and ball bearings went everywhere. Next they dropped it flat on the floor damaging our Saltillo tile. Later, the safe fell and pinned another young man against the wall hurting his leg. At this time, we tried to refuse delivery but Liz at Glory Safe's customer service advised us that all would made as good as new and that they would file an insurance claim for the damaged floor which we did receive compensation. However, it has been over a year now and we still cannot close the door without an extra person to help push. The inside nails were all rusted from the rain so the pistol holder and wall just hang and flap and won't hold gun. We have contacted Old Glory numerous times over the past year and they will not call us back or respond. read more

I reached out to Old Glory Safe Co to inquire about a replacement decal for the handle of my SD safe. First, it was extremely difficult to get anyone there to call me back, let alone reach anyone who could tell me if it was something i could buy. When i finally did get a call back, the gentleman ("gentleman" used loosely here) was extremely rude and said he was trying to run a real safe company and they didn't have time to respond to my inquiries. When i asked his name and title, he did not give it (his number was (314) 806-3160). I would definitely recommend to Old Glory they NEVER let this guy speak with a customer again. read more

I bought the BR Series 24 gun safe. I received it on the 6th of October and I just love it. About a year ago, I found myself standing in a Big Box Store and looking at a large gun safe for $600. I thought that was quite a deal. So before I grabbed it and walked it to the register, I wanted to do some research. I have to tell you, doing research on safes is probably the most confusing thing I have done. What I learned is the Big Box Stores have made safes thinner to make them more affordable. Not all safes are created equal. In fact, when referring to these thinner, cheaper Big Box Store safes, I should just call them security containers because they are in fact not "safes." I saw that I needed to spend $3000+ to get a safe with everything that I wanted; glossy paint, EMP Proof electric lock, internal LED lights, nice interior, thicker than 12 gauge composite steel door and body, long fire rating and a lifetime warranty. But not only the safe needs to be great, but customer service needs to be great as well. Well, I found that with the Old Glory Safe BR Series. This safe has it all. 10 gauge steel body, 1/4 thick plate steel door, lights, interior, gloss paint and much more. So I'll start with the day I ordered it, minutes after ordering online, the company called me and began setting up my order/delivery. I received the safe within one week of sending payment. I received a phone call from the delivery company and told when the safe would be here. The safe arrived on a pallet and was placed into the garage. Eventually, with the help of a couple of people, we moved the 750lbs safe into my bedroom. Let's start with the set up. The safe comes with a default code that is easy to change. There is only one flaw, the handle is the biggest pain in the rear to install. The ring that goes around all the handle spokes is a tight fit and makes it hard to screw all the handles in place. After becoming frustrated, I tried using pliers and a towel to tighten the handles in place. I gouged the chrome finish off two of the handles. I asked Old Glory Safe Company if I could order and pay for two more handles. I told them what I did to the handles and they sent me out two handles for FREE right away. I was impressed at Old Glory safes' customer service and even though I was the one who messed up the handles, they still sent me out two handles. With the new handles and more patience, I was able to get the ring and all the handles hand tight. For me, it took tightening all five handles a half thread at a time. The safe has lots of shelves and storage. In the safe right now I have 2,000 rounds of 5.56, 250 9mm, 50 380auto, 50 38spl, 200 .45auto and 66 12 gauge rounds, one AR15, one 12 gauge pump, 5 handguns, armor plates, soft armor, many accessories, gun parts and a small filing cabinet all fit with room to expand. I placed a vinyl sticker on the front which personalizes and compliments the nice gloss black paint and pin stripping. The beveled front corners add a nice touch of design and security. This safe is built for its quality. The 2A don't "tread on me" logo on the handle adds a nice touch and reminds me daily of my duty to protect the 2nd Amendment. The ONLY drawback I have to the safe is that I wish the numbers on the touch pad were more positive and easier to push. You really have to push the number hard on the center for it to work. I find myself pushing the numbers twice because it does not sense when I press it. Other than that, I am very happy with this safe and the customer service from Old Glory Safe Company. read more

My son sent us a safe and the keys were stuck inside so we couldn't open it. I contacted the safe company to see if we could get new keys. They said they would send the keys. Turned out they couldn't get the keys for us so they sent us a new safe instead! I don't know many companies that would do that. I ordered a BR series safe from this company at the beginning of September and specifically told them that I was installing cabinetry to accommodate the safe and needed updates on delivery. The site said 4 to 6 weeks for delivery, I never heard from them and contracted them after 4 weeks. I was told the productions were delayed in March and April and they could not give me a time for delivery. I asked why they did not put that on their site and/or notify customers so they could chose to go elsewhere for the safe. They canceled my order because they said I threatened to sue them. Don't do business with these people they are not to be trusted. All they did was keep my money for over a month and give me excuses! read more

When you call for technical support because you're safe is making beeping sounds and they neglect to call you back for days on end, that is a problem. How much do you trust the safe company? Do you want to have a safe that you can't get into and they won't even bother to return your calls. If so go with Old Glory safes! read more

My husband and I ordered a safe back in November of 2020. My husband called to find out where our safe was more than a few months back. Just to find out we wouldn't be getting it in the original 3-4 weeks timeline as told. Then we get told we should hopefully have it by the end of May. We are still waiting for it and we were waiting till the end of May as we were told. Shortly after my husband left a review (simply so others could see the problems) they refunded the money for the safe we ordered and we can NOT get ahold of anyone in the company to find out if we are still getting our safe we ordered 7 months ago. We did not ask for a refund and we did not get notified one was happening. My husband simply saw his account was off from what it should've been. So no notification or phone call and we can't get ahold of anyone for help. We just want our safe. read more

Exceptionally bad warrantee service sense the new call center. Back when I bought my safe I had an issue with my combination lock one quick call to the company and I actually got to speak with someone who took care of the issue I was having. Fast forward four years and I had to call again because the door of my safe was not closing the way I thought it should. So I called and got the answering service and asked for someone to call me. They said I should hear back from the warrantee team in 24 hours, well that came and went, I figured they must be busy so I waited two days for a return call that never came. I contacted them again and for the next 10 days daily and this is the way the phone call went every time. The service would answer I would tell them I had a warrantee issue and they would put me on hold for approx. 30 seconds and then come back on the line and say they had no one available to speak with and I would get a call back in 24 hours this went on for the next 10 days same call every time. I am still waiting on that call I really hope nothing more goes wrong with my safe because my boat is sunk if it does. I could end up with a very large paperweight in my office. read more

I have the 59-39 model, just can't begin to describe the quality of the safe for the price with the features that it comes with. I have to say I based my purchase on too key features the weight and the override feature that allows you to still be able to get into the safe if the lock was damaged. Highly Recommend, you won't find the quality for the price anywhere's else. read more
