It took our waitress a while to come over and take our initial drink order and it took a very long time for them to finally bring the check over. Dating back to 1776 old glory was...sorry sidetracked there now back to the food. To start we order the Maryland Crab Dip. The flavor was fresh and sweet. Lumps of meat throughout made Mr Krabs run his legs back to Baltimore. Two orders of wings Rosemary Parmesan and Texas BBQ. The Rosemary Parm hits on so many levels, the initial Rosemary packs a punch and then cheesy parm comes in behind to max a flavor burst in your mouth. The good ol Texas BBQ, the nice smoky flavor felt as though Hoss himself took it off the pit and served it up. Nice and saucy wings are what's desired that I wanted to stand up and shout yeehaw buckaroo! Our main dish was the Seafood pizza, by golly with the amount of food on there, the oceans may be bare for a couple days. The clams and shrimp mix so well with the seasonings they use. We love going to Old Glory when in the mood for Wings. They finish their wings in a wood fired oven to give them a perfect char. I love the Buffalo wings. They put blue cheese crumbles on the wings before finishing them in that pizza oven. I've converted to a ranch guy but these are blue cheese all the way. My son loves the Texas BBQ wings which are smokey and sweet. The sweet thai chili are a great change of pace if my son and I want to share one. I have had their meatloaf sandwich and ordered a corned beef sandwich from their specials menu before. They have these candied jalapenos which are great and the frizzled onions on the meatloaf which just take the meal to another level. Pizza's are also great - baked in the same oven as the wings, it gets cooked at around 900 degrees according to their website. We had the seafood pie to change it up and it was okay. I will definitely try their spinach and artichoke pie next time. We had a beach day and were in the area and we were happy that there wasn't a wait and we got right In. The place itself is really cool because it looks like an old church which I actually believe it used to be and they still have the steeple and you can actually sit there and eat I believe it Hass to be reserved though. We had the drunken clams without bacon and they were amazing I love the idea of a hot peppers in it it really changed it up a little bit. My salad was crisp and delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed his crabcakes. The only reason I didn't give an extra star was because they go a little bit too heavy on the garlic with the food it kind of took away the flavor of the item you were eating for example he had broccoli and it just tasted like garlic was all over it. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon in August and were pleasantly surprised with the outdoor space being in the middle of a parking lot on a main road. I went with the Freedom Dip, steak sandwich with cheese and au jus. The steak was great, somewhat small portion and au jus had no flavor. The fries were pretty good. Food took FOREVER to be delivered and when it finally came out, was thrown onto the table by a kid who seemed like he had no interest in interacting with us. The food was overly salty, burgers were dry and the pizza crust tastes and looks different. Returning to NY from a day at the beach, great dinner stop. Using my Yelp app I was able to easterly find many options before crossing the Outerbridge into Staten Island. Old Glory was a restored church into a restaurant. The outdoor seating available was socially distant from each guest. They had tables upstairs off the choir loft of main building and an outside patio on the side and back of restaurant. No reservations, first come first serve. But if you don't mind taking a short walk to Keyport waters edge you can waste time until your table is ready. Worth an second visit for other menu items like wings and burgers. I'm a big fan of Old Glory. They have an expansive menu with everything from salads and pizzas to pasta and seafood. AKA there is something for everyone. The drinks are also good but the cocktails and sangria are a bit too sweet for me. A pizza and beer really hits the spot though! I usually get their pizzas when I come here and the crust is delicious and crunchy. My favorite is the green goat, which has kale and goat cheese. The inside is really neat and you can tell there's a lot of history to the building. It's pretty big so I've never had to wait more than 15 min for a table. There is also outdoor dining which is amazing, but unfortunately the rules in the town changed so dogs are no longer allowed. :( read more

We started with the Pretzel, Brick Oven Wings in Thai Chili and Fire Roasted. All the apps were perfect to share and so so delicious. The boys really enjoyed the Seafood Pizza and raved about the Freedom Dip Sandwich. I had the Arugala salad with a Crab Cake on top. It was delicious!! For dessert, we shared the apple crisp, which wasn't my favorite. It had more of a graham cracker topping than a "crisp" or crumble. However, the S'mores Skillet was bananas. It was so freakin good. This restaurant is it converted church and its nice decor reflects old and new architecture. There are three floors plus alfresco dining in the warmer months. There is a parking lot on the side and behind the restaurant. This is a rather nice hipster place to dine in Keyport, which in recent years is coming back " on the map ". Found this place while searching Yelp for suggestions. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. We visited on a Friday night, and they were very crowded. There were 3 in our party and entree choices were: Spicy Hawaiian Pizza, Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich, and Bison Burger. I didn't personally try the Chicken Cordon Blue but was told it was great. My girlfriend had the pizza, and I did try that. Very tasty and the cherry peppers gave it a kick. She really enjoyed it. I had the Bison Burger, and it was a little disappointing (the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). It was a bit gamy and dry. I normally love bison, but this one just didn't cut it.
