Cookies and cream and oatmeal cookie ice cream in waffle bowl

I just wanted to pop in here and say the oatmeal cookie ice cream is one of the best ice cream flavors I've had in a long time! Great service and nice air conditioned place to stop into on a hot day in Georgetown!

Stopped in here because of good reviews and how many flavors of ice cream they have! Was really hard to choose! Lots of unique flavors and the pricing is buy one scoop get a second scoop free!! Very good pricing overall? Good service and lots of seating inside! They also offer hotdogs and some other small meals. I forgot to take a lot of pics but definitely a must try!

Simply delicious! 1st time exploring Georgetown's board walk and downtown which is essentially the same location lol! My grandma Ann told us about this creamery so we had to visit. They have so many flavors and are running a special buy one scoop get another scoop free. One scoop is $3.00 and it's a good size scoop. Randy the manager was the one who helped us and he was so very patient with us while we toggled back and forth on what we wanted. Icecream: I went with the 1 scoop of the Jolted Cow & 1 scoop of cookies and cream. Jeni's who??? These ice creams were so Yum! Yum! Yum! The jolted cow was my favorite because it had brownie pieces and espresso in it. A very light coffee flavor, I felt like I was enjoying a Starbucks frappe in icecream form. Everyone enjoyed their icecream of choice. I paid $19 (tax + tip included) for 2 IC specials in cup + 2 IC specials in waffle bowl + 1 IC special in a sugar cone They also serve sundaes and hot dogs. They have indoor seating and outdoor benches for you to also enjoy your icecream. We started on the bench and then made our way over to the back of the creamery to the boardwalk where the marina is to enjoy the remainder of our ice cream! Highly suggest stopping by if you are in the area or even if you pass through this city while going to the beach.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while relaxing in historic downtown Georgetown. Nothing fancy about this place but they do what they do right. They serve Mayfield ice cream, which happens to be some of the best in the South. Cone, cup, or waffle bowl; depending on how you want this cold, creamy delicacy delivered. And they serve foot-long hot dogs, which speaks for itself in culinary circles. Of course, I believe the foot-long hotdog is the quintessential of all the dogs. I had mine Carolina style with slaw, mustard, and onions. While it could have been a little hotter, the dog was good and the ice cream follow up; delicious. Regular prices too, not beach prices, which is nice. Be certain to stop in here.

My cousin and I had dinner on Front Street and were craving something sweet. This is one of two ice cream shops located on Front Street. This shop is large. Inside is bright and colorful. There is plenty of seating with tables throughout. They have about 40 ice cream flavors and a handful of yogurt flavors. They also sell hot dogs. The employees could be a little more friendly. They both were a bit standoffish. My cousin got pecan praline and I got some type of smokey mountain fudge (I don't remember the exact name). The ice cream is good--rich and creamy.

Seems like this shop just opened a few weeks ago and I sure hope it stays around for a long time. Passing through on the way home from Myrtle beach and we wanted ice cream. Old Georgetown creamery was just the place. Maybe this was a deal just for grand opening But they had but 1 scoop for $2.89 and get a 2nd scoop for free. What a deal! The ice cream was Hershey's brand which we love to find in SC. Staff was friendly too. In a great location on Main Street. If we ever pass by again we will make a stop at OGC.

Seating outside and inside. There's also a few arcade games for kids or adults to play as you wait for your order. It's got the feel of a diner on the beach. There was only 2 employees who I believe were also the owners. Great service and hospitality. This place is unassuming, You don't expect the food to taste as great as it does. All the food is cooked fresh. You can taste the quality of the food that is used. The food is served in dog bowls. It's gimmicky, so some people might be turned off or find it unsanitary. They line the bowls with wax paper and I would think have not been eaten out of by dogs. I can't believe I actually had to say it, but after reading some of the reviews I think it was necessary. The food was fantastic. We got the garlic parmesan wings to start. The sauce was flavorful and the wings were drowned in it. Not as much meat as I would like on the wing, but still delicious. I dipped my fries in the leftover sauce. It added to the great taste of the fries which are hand cut and seasoned nicely. I got the double cheeseburger. I added jalapeños, spicy mustard, ketchup, and mayo from the free condiment list. If you have never tried it like this, I highly suggest it. It may sound like too much on the burger, but you will not be disappointed. The burger was fresh and cook exactly how I asked. Just the right amount of condiments and jalapeños were on the burger. I will definitely be returning to try one of the hotdogs they have on the menu. Great experience and looking forward to coming back.

I'm always impressed by a standalone hot dog place. When I finally arrived to the location, I was shocked at how big the building was. And, for a Sunday mid afternoon, there were so many cars there! Some families were dining inside, some outside on the picnic tables, and many Just sitting and eating in their cars. My kind of place! Very casual and low-key. I went inside and ordered three hotdogs. Two for myself and one for my own dog who came with me. His hot dog was playing. Mine came with chili and slaw on one and Paul's famous relish on another. I also ordered a side of fries and a fountain drink. I was shocked when they told me my order total was less than $12. My food was bagged up for me ready to go before I even handed them my card. Food was good. Nothing out of this world. Definitely not a gourmet hotdog. The hotdogs are boiled and soft, not grilled. Overall, my impressions are that this is a staple in Rocky Point. A great stop for a quick and cheap meal. Cute. FYI - They also seemed to have other sandwich items like chips, grilled cheese, ham, sandwich, etc.
