We met him at a nice marina on Wilmington Island and he took us everywhere. Our favorite spot was the historic Daufuskie island. You can only get there by boat. It was about an hour long, super relaxing ride there. We all laid out on the front of the boat and caught some sun before arriving at this secluded island. Rented a golf cart and rode around with our drinks. Saw some great property, unique animals, super creepy burial grounds, and learned a ton of history from the natives. Marshside mamas had some delicious food and a live band. All around a wonderful time and not as expensive as you might think!

Our trip was filled with a lot of rain, but we were so thankful to have a morning like this. The boat ride was magical. Captain Seth told us all about the area, the community, the wildlife and more. We enjoyed fresh pastries before heading further out. We got to explore a sandbar filled with pelicans and other majestic birds. We got to see dolphins---something Seth kept us out longer to make sure we got to experience. He dropped us off closer to a coffee shop and gave us tips on what to explore on Tybee. We were so thankful for this portion of our trip. I cannot suggest this enough. We were to glad we included this in our 3 day itinerary.

They were SO knowledgeable about the area and such fun to chat with on a beautiful March day. We went to two different beaches, and Jamie helped us find probably 40 shark teeth of all sizes. It was amazing - I truly cannot believe we found so many. On the second beach, Malcolm showed us the coolest fossils I never would've even noticed, like a camel tooth from thousands of years ago and bottles left over from the prohibition era. It was an absolute blast and a must-do with family, friends, or partners. I am six months pregnant and had a totally fine time, so this would be an amazing trip with kids too. Thank you, Malcolm and Jamie for the unforgettable day! We'll be seeing y'all again!

We loved seeing Hopper the dolphin, also. Our guide, Kyle, was so knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining how the area has changed and the importance of the marshes. We all had such a wonderful time on the boat and with Kyle. The kids loves it when he'd turn on the "air conditioning" by going faster. We will definitely be going with them again!

Savannah Riverboat Lunch Cruise: Great Experience, But Skip the Included Lunch…read more My husband and I took the Savannah Riverboat Cruise with the lunch option, and overall, it was a memorable outing we'd happily repeat--with one change. The service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The boat itself is beautiful, with lovely views of the Savannah River and historic sites. The captain's narration was a highlight. He provided fascinating facts, interesting historical tidbits, and maritime knowledge about the area the entire time--only pausing briefly for questions, which he answered thoroughly. My husband was particularly impressed by his expertise on the local maritime history. A fun moment came when we passed Old Fort Jackson--they fired a cannon at us! It was thrilling to hear the boom and imagine what it must have felt like in the past. Unfortunately, the included lunch was the one disappointment. The food was lackluster and completely lacking in flavor--it tasted bland and unseasoned, almost like institutional or nursing home fare. Everything was just overall "blah." We'd definitely do the riverboat tour again. Next time, though, we'd skip the lunch package and either grab something from the grill on the top deck or eat before or after the cruise. Highly recommend the experience for the boat, views, and narration--just plan your own meal!

I've already decided I'm not spending any more money after being greeted in that fashion. No drinks, no snacks, and no souvenirs. The narrator was knowledgeable, had a few jokes, and was tipped appropriately. The paddlers do not run. Two stars for a knowledgeable narrator and clean restrooms. Finding him and the boat was easy and he was ready to go. We took advantage of the cooler on board and thanks for the blanket because it did get cold once the sun set. But he did accept virtual payments. Make sure you bring a hat and sunscreen! You can get out and swim if you want but we didn't know so highly recommend swimsuits!
