Stopped in to order food to go. Sign at the front of the restaurant said to seat yourself. Stood at the bar trying to get a menu... took waitress about 10 mins to acknowledge me. Then refused to provide a menu unless I showed my ID. Had to walk back out to my car to get it. It took 20 minutes to get a drink besides water. I then ordered a hamburger, medium, with no bun just lettuce and onion with a side of sweet potato fries and honey, pretty standard. My meal came. The hamburger was on a bed of lettuce, onion and tomato with mayo. The burger was so raw it was pink on the outside edges. I am not one to complain so I tried to eat some, but when the meat was still cold and stringy I knew it wasn't even close to medium. Then I went to open my honey packets and they were crystallized. One of two issues there... it was old or stored improperly. For either reason it shouldn't have been served. I was not the only person in our party to have problems with the food. Another member of our party was missing meatballs off their plate! Our waitress was good but the food was undercooked, and that's if you got all your food. The cheese sauce provided for pretzel dunkin' was excellent, and the vintage music videos on the big screen with accompanying soundtrack blasted through the restaurant was definitely a deal-maker. Ok....the food (most of the time) is amazing!!! So many things on the menu that I would highly recommend!! Like the double deckoroni pizza! And the Italian nachos!! But...sometimes I order something and it's just obvious that it's lacking. Like the pesto macaroni I got the other night, it needed about 3x the amount of cheese sauce that it was given. Really dry and bland. :-/ made me so sad. Also, customer service is one of the worse here. Especially if u come in for a later dinner (since they are open later then almost all other restaurants in the city). Your normally greeted by a younger person, usually teenage ish. And half the staff you see tends to be kids...perhaps that's the problem here? But there is some adult servers. We came for a late dinner just days ago, and we stood at the front desk waiting for about 5 mins. Waiting patiently as 2 young girl employees sat at a booth table chatting, while glancing over at us every few seconds. Just when i was about to scream like a 4 year old that's hungry, the two girls finally came to greet us. Did I mention the restaurant was completely empty at this time, so it was just us. After we were finally greeted, I had to argue with them to "allow" us to be seated on the restaurant side, and not the bar side. They insisted that we not dirty up their already clean restaurant side. I explained that as a pregnant woman, I would rather not sit with loud and belligerent drunks (that I could see from the doorway already). She fought with me for about 5 mins on this, before she finally sat us on the correct side. Following the seating issues, overall service from the waitress was horrible. She literally took our order while standing there glaring. She never gave us refills at her request. We had to ask for everything, but not before playing hide and go seek of trying to find her first! And it took about 40 mins to get a side of ranch....in an empty restaurant. The customer service deserves a 1 star rating. The food deserves a 4 star rating. That's why we prefer takeout food from here. You can get the great food! And skip the snotty service. And you don't have to tip for takeout. ;-) read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! 1st time we went here we waited for a had to deal with a rude and dismissive waitress and had to wait longer than it should have taken for a mediocre pizza, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it again. On our 2nd trip we were not greeted, we were taken to our table and ordered drinks and ordered onion rings that they said were "best In town," they were at best below average and took 30 min to get to the table and what we got was not worth the $10 price tag, we then waited another 35 min for our pizza. We were excited to sit down as a family for a meal out after a long hard day. The place was half full when we got there and it took 20 mins to sit us so they could stick us in the corner and forget about us. Incorrect drinks were brought out to begin with. No offers of refills ever (including my husbands beer, which he wanted to order). My daughter and I both ordered the same dish and you never would have known. Hers came out perfect, mine was black it was burnt so bad. My mother's hamburger looked like a hockey puck. There was a girls softball team that came in and sat next to us after we had been there about 45 mins and it was obvious that the staff was concerned with their guaranteed tip from a large party. We came in for Sunday football and had wings, beer and pizza and our assessment on all three were: overpriced and not all that great. Actually, the beer selection is quite good, but $7.50 for a Guinness? Come on... And then there were the wings: 9 wings for $12. Total rip-off considering the almost total absence of sauce. Being from Chicago and on vacation is a real eye-opener that us Chicagoans are super spoiled when it comes to food. After a few days of having buffalo burgers and less than appetizing food, Old Chicago was a nice change. I had the chicken pizza - It was so good I ate the whole thing. Was highly impressed by this chain until I went the second time only a week later. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants and prefer local stops almost exclusively. But...I'm a sucker for fast and cheapish places near to costco so I can run in before it closes. So...I found myself at Old Chicago. We sat down on a Sunday around 3:30p wouldn't you know it, happy hour starts 4-6p daily! Not just during the week--daily! So, we decided to work the system and ordered our first beers from a nice craft beer draft menu. Then we split (2 adults) a deep dish--Chicago style Mediterranean pizza which was so yummy. Want to try the big size of this because I don't think the individual size shows true justice to the deep dish crust. We also got two side salads, blue cheese made in house-awesome! Then on hold for 4p we added to appetizers from the half off appetizer menu. And it wasn't just a select few apps, it was the whole menu. So, we got the jalapeño cheese pretzels, the calamari and two more half priced pints of craft beer! Our bill totaled $30! Yay you just made a hungry fat cheap girl happy. The pretzels were amazing by the way. We definitely will return from 4-6p daily to get them. Served with an awesome gooey yellow cheese sauce, they were perfectly warm and just enough salty. The second time, a week later, we ordered the same pretzels. A non-Cheese eater at the table asked if there was cheese in them--I said yes, the waitress said no. She was completely unfamiliar with the menu. The food we ordered just the week before was made/presented differently. Very weird. She didn't know any of the beers on the menu and made us refer to them by a number listed. Then, Pinot noir was ordered and she brought a white wine. We said, "nope that's not it." She said, "it was the pine-not one right?" ROFL. "Yes the Pine-not one but the red one, not the gregorio one." Lol We also got the wrong pizza. It was a disaster night. Lesson learned, don't Judge a place by the first time you go. Oh yea and there were TVs and it looked like there was a bar area. Not my bag. I'm the foodie type, not the sporty type. The food was very good. I love the Sicilian pizza rolls. They're my favorite item On the menu. Our server was great. I am sorry, I cannot remember her name, but she had the very pretty rose tattoo on her hand. She was attentive and friendly. We told her we were Moving soon and she wished us well and told us we should try to come back one more time before we go. I might order a couple pizza rolls to go and freeze them for a while. Their Hawaiian pizza might be my new favorite pizza. It's not your traditional Hawaiian. It has a few extra toppings. Red peppers, green onions and a Thai chili sauce. Really good. For a chain restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. Typical sports bar atmosphere, sterile, full of TVs showing sports. I was expecting revolting overpriced food along the lines of TGIF, Applebee's, but they are slightly better than them. Ordered a calzone and it was very tasty and big portioned. The price was fair. When the food is fresh, it is really good though service there is slow. Take out is completely out of the question as they have burned our pizza multiple times, have given us the WRONG pizza after they copped to over cooking a pizza, and I have NEVER gotten a salad that was completely correct. Salad with no dressing is never okay, and it took me ordering a salad in house for me to discover it comes with bread. They also tend to forget all parts of the order. I'm on business in Billings and this was a short walk from the hotel and I was craving spag&meatballs (S&MB) so after 12 hours of travelling I decided to go with what was close by and the reviews were OK about the food. Well, many mentioned that the service was horrible and that is true. The whole thing was a disaster from the start. Waited 7 minutes at the entrance and when no one was around I walked into the pub. Crazy loud with football. Turns out there was another part of the resto for those who wanted quiet. Would've been nice to know. Before I could get my coat off the waitress accosted me for a drinks order. I started to take my coat off but she just stood there waiting so I hurried up and ordered a glass of wine. Then she brought the wine and no menu. No, I had to wait for that.The wine glass was dirty...she raised it up to inspect it "so you say it's dirty?" I watched the bartender just pour it into a new glass. I was exhausted, I ordered my S&MB and a side greek salad. The S&MB arrived cold with a new waitress. She tried her best but it was a losing battle. The salad was on a small rectangle plate, good for presentation but whenever I tried to get a bite, the salad overflowed on the table and I couldn't toss the dressing around cause it just kept overflowing onto the table. It was pretty funny actually. Did I mention they forgot the feta cheese? Oh yeah, and utensils and napkins? S&MB came back a little warmer but not much. The meatball was kinda gross and gelatinous but probably cause it wasn't really hot. The manager did it all right by comping the whole meal and giving me a gift certificate for another try, But honestly, that is never going to happen. I knew going in the food would just be ordinary but I left drained! I travel a lot and if they had offered me another glass of wine during the meal or acknowledged that it was going badly, it would have been ok.
