I wish the group size were a tad bit smaller, but I was able to hear the guide. We did get some odd photos when there were EVP spikes and my pictures before and after were clear. It was a cold, dark night when I felt...off. I kept telling my partner I didn't feel like I was part of this world, and my heart was pounding. He said we didn't have to go, but I wanted to fight off this pain. Hours later, our tour guide would say that it's common for people to get possessed by the spirts of Bisbee during their visit. A woman beside me gasped. She told her boyfriend she felt 'different' all day. It was then I realized, I wasn't alone... I went on the 'Old Bisbee Ghost Tour' in January, and it revealed much about the dark past of the town. All attendees were required to wait in front of the 'Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum' by 7pm before we were whisked off through stairways & old alleys while we were told the macabre stories of the ghosts that live in the town. I really enjoyed our guide; I forgot his name, but he was a tall, caucasian, white-haired man with a top hat & suit. His voice was perfect for spooky narration, and had a few zingers here & there. He suggested we try the 'Ghost Pub Crawl' if we visit again- I might take him up on it. Expect to be walking a lot; there will be a lot of stops, but it's still quite a journey before you're free to disperse, so dress comfortably and warmly. This is not the best tour for people that do not like history, cannot walk or stand for long periods of time, have wheelchairs/canes/etc. and while children can attend, I can't see every child tolerating listening to stories for hours outdoors. If you want to bring the family, you need to determine if your kid is the kind to enjoy this too. Along with trekking up hills, I also had opportunities to enter a couple of spooky hotels. The stories about them made me conjure up my own stories. I'm a very imaginative person, so I loved picturing these ghosts among us. I won't spoil much, but my favorite ghosts involve a cat and 'The Cuddler.' You'll have to go on this tour to know more about them. Being a part of the 'Old Bisbee Ghost Tour' helps contextualize the surroundings, helping you gain a greater appreciation for how the town of Bisbee was able to survive all the horrors. I'd be glad to try a different tour, as long as another ghost doesn't mess with me! read more

I wish we didn't go on this tour. It was a waste of time. The guide, Steve, didn't have a microphone, frequently turned his head away which made it difficult to understand him. Which didn't really matter because the information he was sharing was very, very limited and vague. I could go on, but in my opinion, the ghost stories were very few, very sparse and each one concluded with a "bum bum bum" from Steve, which made me feel like I was a real dope for even considering that a ghost ever existed. I have taken this tour in the past, and this time it did not disappoint! Our ghost host was great, I believe her name was Samantha. My friend and I were looking for another fun something to do in Bisbee or Tombstone at night for our long overnight to the area. Being that it was #SpookySzn, I asked around and looked on Yelp for inspiration... and here we come to a #SpookySzn tour. I think I personally was looking for more spook but it definitely was a fun time for us both. Jessica was our tour guide and definitely kept it engaging for all of us- a range of ages from kids to not-kids. She likes the spooky side of life which gave it that extra touch. It was a nice mix of history and haunts and (Bisbee) hiking... but not a lot of hiking. Jessica definitely helped us out with some forewarnings along the way with misshapen steps since it's an older city. Ours started at the Mining Museum at dark for about a 90min tour. Danielle was our guide. We were lucky that it was just the two of us. The golf cart is a good call for those that have challanges with numerous stairs because Bisbee is built on steep slopes. This is not a ghost "hunt" like on Ghost Hunters or something where you conduct an investigation with equipment, etc. It is a historical tour through Old Bisbee, with interesting stories and sights. Sure, there are lots of stories about paranormal experiences at the various locations, but it is highly doubtful that you will experience anything even remotely paranormal on your tour. The people in the reviews that were "scared" need some help. FYIs: Lots of walking, up hills and stairs and uneven pavement. If you go in the summer like we did, the tour starts in pretty much full daylight, which kind of eliminates any "scary mood" that they try to invoke at the beginning of the tour. I was so excited when I found this tour online and honestly waited way to long to do it. Had I done it before the week we leave town, I would've been a regular and probably did it once a week for the past few months. There is SO much to see and take in. Our tour guide Joey was so kind and gracious. Ensuring our groups safety the entire way. Warning us of sudden drop offs within the concrete and brick. He even ensured we were at the best spot in town for the howling and we got to be involved in this new town tradition. I had my trained dog with me and Joey was even willing to hold her leash while I took my chance at sitting on 'the steps'. The tour itself is (in my opinion) a really great way to see Bisbee AND learn its history at the same time. Being connected to the paranormal was just a really huge benefit. I caught a photo of an Orb at the Bisbee Inn and a directional mist with the Guardian Angels. I highly recommend doing this tour and will be if I ever find myself this far south again. read more

Awesome tour, something not to be missed on your trip to Bisbee. My tour was a lot of walking, so that is something you need to be prepared for - shorts, mosquito repellent, flashlight, etc. The pace is slow, so everyone is able to keep up. We did the Oliver House tour. not so great. 11-12 people in a single hallway, searching through maybe 7 rooms. It's loud, way too many people. the rooms are occupied, so you have to walk through someone's actual room, if they've volunteered it, if not, you are out of luck. All the doors are open, so you hear everyone laughing, talking, walking, chit chatting... a ghost could have had a full on conversation with us and it was so loud we'd never have known :) It sounds like we should have selected one of the other tours based on the reviews. Everyone's favorite, the Do's and Don'ts: DO book your reservations through their website to save $2 per ticket. They won't charge your card until the evening of your tour so you can pay via card or cash DON'T forget to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You will be walking, a lot, and walking up steep stairs so make sure you are ready. DO bring a flashlight for the tour, your Ghost Host has some to borrow but they are very necessary in the dark with uneven streets and stairs. DON'T be that guy. Don't randomly yell boo during the tour. Don't whistle what you think are scary noises or interrupt the Ghost Host. Not everyone finds your behavior amusing. DO bring a jacket, it can get chilly after sundown DON'T bring alcohol on the tour, just don't for your sake.
