I have never left a negative feedback for any business. I work very long hours and have extremely busy schedule stressed that to the person that gave me the appointment. This was for a consultation to treat for fleas due to stray cats they said wouldn't treat until the following week consultation only today to establish service. Makes no sense but was desperate. Crystal the sales rep showed up in a…read morefew days and looked up in my attic saw all the rat droppings and saw that my attic was not finished and said yes you have rats and yes we can trap and exclude them. I asked if someone would be able to go up there even though its not finished and she assured me that yes they can. She walked around my 1 story home and gave me a contract to sign for the trapping and exclusion. Rob showed up on 1/10/25 to do the exclusion alone and set traps in our attic. I was then informed that because my attic was not finished it was a liability and he would not be allowed to go up there. I accepted this even though this is not what Crystal said prior. Rob left after a couple hours without me walking the home with him to inspect his job. Within 20 minutes of him leaving I walked the home and saw 2 entire runs of the soffit on my home with large holes that rodents(rats/mice) could fit through that were not covered with a wire to exclude them. He did not mention them to me he simply ignored them. I asked him when he would be coming back to cover them and he told me he'd be unable to finish as he had bigger jobs to go to. I contacted him for days after to find out when he would be coming to finish the job and he continued to give me excuses that his schedule wont allow at the moment. In the meantime the rats were never caught in the traps that were being peeked in on this entire time. Finally after no response from Rob or his manager Daniel I purchased the wire and traps myself and finished the job on 2/2/25. After that there was a rat in the snap trap that I removed and disposed of myself. Rob showed up unannounced on 2/12/25 a month later to "finish the job" I asked him to leave my property and that I already completed it. I have since been contacting the district office to have them revise my bill for not completing the work leaving several "tickets" that are still left unresolved and no one has ever returned my call. it is now 5/19/25.

She took upset with this and proceeded to tell me and pressure me into giving her a better answer as to why I wouldn't pay for a service even if I'm not physically there. So I did my best to re explain and she proceeded to get aggressive with her up selling by trying to offer me a quarterly or every two month plan. What I liked about live oak pest control for the first year of using them was I had the power in the beginning to pick and choose my appointments and if I did not want service they send you a text with the option yes or no. It was simple and then they had to mess it all up and loose a customer (myself) Due to poor man power and bad leadership. If your company doesn't want to take the money that I give and you have to try to use a aggressive tactic to try to shame me so I buy more of your services or just trusting people to show up at my house when I'm not there is not how I conduct business.....To wrap all of this up basically if you use live oak pest control and your not a "florida good boy " or basically someone established and living there full time they will try to run you for your money and then make it seem like your the problem when you don't comply. *^( florida good boy meaning the people they sent to my house all the time was a redneck person that was expecting me to be red neck or country too then when they find out your not like them they treat you differently and the demeanor in conversation is greatly shifted and a lot of god talk basically nothing to do with pest control ) this was my experience I hope others have had better.

Recently I brought him to a relative's house for the first time so I'm going to use that as my review basis so you have a picture from the beginning inspection. My relatives live in the woods and are surrounded by trees so the were having issues with a few different pests. I was at the house and let John in for his first inspection. We walked the inside and outside of the house together, I told him the concerns. As we were walking the outside (it's a large house on a large piece of property so it was a walk!) John showed me different things to watch for but also took an extra step and showed me where some trees and plants needed trimming away from the home, what to do with the gutters, etc. At one point he found some damage on the backside of the house on the chimney, he checked it, confirmed it was minor water damage and showed me exactly what was going to need to be replaced and how easy it would be to take care of. John then went to his truck and custom mixed a batch of what he thought would work best for the home. He went through the house (inside and out) and told me we were good to go for the next 6 months and to call him if I had any questions or concerns before he came back in October. John really took his time here and did not rush or make me feel rushed at all. I'm sure some of the questions I asked were basic but he made sure to thoroughly go through every question and go the extra mile by showing me things to do to the house to help keep up the prevention. John and Amy really take care of their clients and treat you like family. Amy handles the calls, emails, and scheduling and keeps everything running smooth! She's always quick to return any calls or emails that come her way!
