To whomever reads this beware. Today I got a phone call…read morefrom live oak pest control a woman named Dotti was the person on the call. Dotti called and asked me why I was not going to receive service this month. I told her that my FL home was a vacation property and I would not be there every month. She took upset with this and proceeded to tell me and pressure me into giving her a better answer as to why I wouldn't pay for a service even if I'm not physically there. So I did my best to re explain and she proceeded to get aggressive with her up selling by trying to offer me a quarterly or every two month plan. What I liked about live oak pest control for the first year of using them was I had the power in the beginning to pick and choose my appointments and if I did not want service they send you a text with the option yes or no. It was simple and then they had to mess it all up and loose a customer (myself) Due to poor man power and bad leadership. If your company doesn't want to take the money that I give and you have to try to use a aggressive tactic to try to shame me so I buy more of your services or just trusting people to show up at my house when I'm not there is not how I conduct business.....To wrap all of this up basically if you use live oak pest control and your not a "florida good boy " or basically someone established and living there full time they will try to run you for your money and then make it seem like your the problem when you don't comply. *^( florida good boy meaning the people they sent to my house all the time was a redneck person that was expecting me to be red neck or country too then when they find out your not like them they treat you differently and the demeanor in conversation is greatly shifted and a lot of god talk basically nothing to do with pest control ) this was my experience I hope others have had better.

My daughter called to set up an appointment and immediately without even seeing the property they…read morescheduled a clean out. Clean outs are only for major issues, not for the start of service. I called them back and told them I would not be needing a cleanout just standard services like a quarterly program, they then informed me that their tech will make that determination and again I said no they will not I am former pest control and I know the process. Well then the tech shows up to my house with a trainee, not even the tech that was supposed to be there and again told me very rudely that it is part of their process and that they will determine if I get a cleanout and what services I will be receiving. I told them to get off my property and that is not how you do business. As a business owner of many years I was amazed at the lack of professionalism.

So beyond impressed with DW Pest Control! I've been using them for my house for around 3yrs. John…read morewas referred by a friend of mine. I use them for both termite and regular pest control. Recently I brought him to a relative's house for the first time so I'm going to use that as my review basis so you have a picture from the beginning inspection. My relatives live in the woods and are surrounded by trees so the were having issues with a few different pests. I was at the house and let John in for his first inspection. We walked the inside and outside of the house together, I told him the concerns. As we were walking the outside (it's a large house on a large piece of property so it was a walk!) John showed me different things to watch for but also took an extra step and showed me where some trees and plants needed trimming away from the home, what to do with the gutters, etc. At one point he found some damage on the backside of the house on the chimney, he checked it, confirmed it was minor water damage and showed me exactly what was going to need to be replaced and how easy it would be to take care of. John then went to his truck and custom mixed a batch of what he thought would work best for the home. He went through the house (inside and out) and told me we were good to go for the next 6 months and to call him if I had any questions or concerns before he came back in October. John really took his time here and did not rush or make me feel rushed at all. I'm sure some of the questions I asked were basic but he made sure to thoroughly go through every question and go the extra mile by showing me things to do to the house to help keep up the prevention. John and Amy really take care of their clients and treat you like family. Amy handles the calls, emails, and scheduling and keeps everything running smooth! She's always quick to return any calls or emails that come her way! Their pricing is super affordable and I'd much rather support a local company who takes care of people and treats their clients well. Give John and Amy a call today, I promise you won't be disappointed!
