Ali is both professional and masterful. Her communication is clear and intentional. What she has done for my body is beyond words. She addressed injuries both old and new. When I came in, I could barely move without pain and when I left, I was pain-free. All produced a result that I did not think was possible! read more

It's only been a week since my 10th session and it's hard to say if I feel much overall relief in my neck caused from accident since my neck is still stiff and pained at times. Time will tell. I definitely feel like my body is put together and I don't feel so broken but I came to see Ali after a car accident causing me to suffer neck shoulder and back pain. It's hard to compare or say her skill level since this is my first try at Rolfing but every appointment was like a workout for both of us. What she does is not easy and she exerts a lot of energy and aloha into what she does. I found her on google searching for pain relief post car accident after having done physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, body manipulation therapy, accupuncture and cupping which none have really given me much pain relief or any real resolve. I was desperately seeking something different, something helpful, something positive from all the rest. I am still searching for pain relief 8 months later. Ali walks you through and explains what to expect which I appreciate greatly. I was always told Rolfing hurts and yes it does, but the pain was almost always worth it. I did feel specific post Rolfing appointment pains which led to the next appointment then releasing the current pain so everything in my body seemed to release such tension. Now that my 10sessions are up it's suggested to wait 3 months for any therapy besides accupuncture. 8 days now since last session and i still have a stiff neck and some aches and pains. I'm gonna let my body integrate and be patient through this process. Four stars to see what evolves in the future. Hopefully positive news. *edited 11-19-19 read more

Alison is not only amazing at what she does and very professional, she is also a wonderful person. I am so grateful I found her. After the 10 sessions, my chronic hip and back pain is so much better and pretty much gone. I can now get back to my passion and do what I love: surfing and playing with my 1 year old daughter. Thank you so much, Alison! read more

Say goodbye to neck pain! I came to work with Alison after a car accident left me in a lot of pain and discomfort. After the first session my neck pain was greatly reduced. With each subsequent session, the pain became less and less. My quality of life has also greatly improved as a result of Rolfing sessions with Alison. Thank you! read more

Life changing! ROLFING: Alison has a true talent for healing. Old injuries had come back to haunt me with a vengeance; I was crooked and in pain. Acupuncture & chiropractic just weren't doing the trick. I needed something with more 'oomph' and so I did the standard 10-session Rolf program with Alison. Although there were painful moments, I really enjoyed the sessions, and I could feel it working; I could tell this was what my body needed to become realigned. I am now able to do all my regular physical activities once again. What a blessing. MASSAGE: She is also an AMAZING masseuse. I threw my shoulder out of place again and went to see her. This time she gave me a massage with some Rolfing techniques integrated. It totally fixed me. She explained that because we had done the core work, it was much easier to get the muscles back in order this time. And I can't even find the words to describe how good the massage felt. Just magical. TECHNIQUE: First, of all, the ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. Music, candles, scents. Ali integrates breathing techniques, visualizations, delicious essential oils and thoughtfulness into her practice. She is 100% present at all times, and her intuition guides her hands to all the trouble spots. She rounds out her practice with holistic health advice - herbs, supplements, diet, stretches, lifestyle. I gain new wisdom and helpful reminders with each visit. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I don't know what I would have done without you! read more

After finally coming back to the mainland with true knowledge about the essential elements the body and mind need to thrive, Ali stopped off in the Bay Area for a few months. I am so lucky to have been able to receive some of her amazing skill. I had a massage first and it was the best massage I've ever had. Right away I was able to relax and really let go of the tension in my body and my life. She listened to my concerns and really took the time to work on areas I said were full of aches and pains. After the massage I was treated first hand to the truth of juicing and it's benefits, part of what Ali offers in Ola Natural Healing. She is gifted in the use of herbs and fresh foods to let the body thrive. My second and third session with Ali were the first two steps of the Rolfing Method of Structural Integration. I've never seen or felt anything like it, it wasn't a massage per sea but rather a reorganization of my entire body. I felt lighter and more balanced after both sessions and wish I were able to continue with the next 8 steps. Anyone considering a life altering course should check out what Ola Natural Healing has to offer. Take control of your life and your body and start thriving!! read more

I have been working with Ali for over 2 years now. She has worked on me as well as my daughter doing outcall sessions. As far as her skill level & ability to create change in the body I continue to give that aspect of the work a 5 star rating. She was able to identify my daughter's scoliosis & knee problem see the connection between the two & I am so grateful for the work she has done helping us. She is an excellent rolfer. Healing is more than technical skill alone though and I have been disappointed over time to find that Ali is not able to be a consistently kind & compassionate healer. I'm a neat freak with kids & a dog so have a clean but lived in house. Almost every session there was a negative comment about something in the house (too hot, too many stairs, smoke from the neighbors, too much traffic, wrong blanket, blanket with an odor because our washing machine broke, etc.) or related to the kids/dog/cat pillows etc. I just adapted & had a routine to let her control the AC. There was always something for her to be critical of & over time that has been exhausting. I am used to dealing with difficult people at work so have been willing to just let it go because she is such a good rolfer so I tried to just focus on the positive. Recently though, I requested a session after an injury. It was great that she responded quickly & got me in. During the session I was in a lot of pain and made a small involuntary noise of discomfort when having to change position & she said in an irritated tone: "you know, rolfing is not meant for acute injuries!" she was frustrated at me for not being able to be perfectly positioned for the work. At the end of the session when watching me stand she expressed disappointment about my alignment & the results of the session & she commented that there wasn't much she could do for an acute injury. I'm pretty understanding & hadn't known that prior, so said that was ok and we could just resume the work when I was feeling better. I was in a tremendous amount of pain and said that the only thing I really needed from the session that day was for her to be kind to me & that I felt that was missing from the session. This was the only time in several years of us working together that I had expressed a critical comment. When I said it I was kind & direct. Generally I am happy & grateful & give a lot of positive feedback & thank her for the sessions. I was shocked that she wasn't able to talk about my feelings about the session. Instead of talking about it she reacted & said: "you know, rolfing is usually done only a few times in a lifetime it's not meant to be ongoing work ... I don't know that we need to keep working together... I don't know if I'm going to keep doing outcalls ... I'm the only rolfer on Maui even doing outcalls right now." She then let me know our regular time slot for the last year would no longer work & when trying to find a new spot she made no effort to be accommodating. I clarified whether the sessions were indicated (they are), so suggested we make another appointment. Prior to that appointment she asked if I would be willing to buy a massage table for the house to make outcalls easier on her. I said yes & purchased a table. At the follow up session she arrived irritated & worked on both my daughter & myself. At the end of the session she announced she would no longer do outcall appointments for us. I told her I was confused, as earlier in the week she indicated she wanted us to have a table at home to continue the work. She said that didn't matter she was done & we could drive to see her in Haiku. It was clear she could care less. She commented that we could see someone else & I got the impression she would be relieved to not see us anymore because my comment from the prior session upset her. My daughter's health is important to me so I let her know what time would work for us and she let me know there was no space for my younger daughter to wait except outside on her porch. When I told her I would just sit on the porch with my 6yo & to schedule us, instead of putting it in her calendar like we she sent me a link to schedule through requiring a credit card deposit. My gut feeling was to not go back & to find some someone else to work with. Bottom line she's a good technical rolfer but can't handle criticism or hold a compassionate warm healing space. She lacks interpersonal skills and ability to be empathetic. So she's like a car mechanic not a healer. I have attempted to talk with her about this since the comments she made below. In our dialogue she said she felt uncomfortable with my comment during the session I was injured and that made her think I should see someone else. In the messages she sent there was no awareness that this is very unusual and shows lack of empathy. She is unable to take responsibility for her actions & blamed me instead. Confirming my assessment that she lacks the kindness & soul of a healer. read more

Working with Ali is a life changing experience . A total transformation of body, mind and spirit. Her knowledge goes far beyond Rolfing and I found myself very comfortable with opening up to her. She made time for me when I needed an emergency session to help me recover from a concussion. I really appreciate Ali and recommend everyone to do the 10 sessions with her! I received a rolfing from Ali at Ola Natural Healing in our rental home near Paia this past December. She was great! She asked me questions at the beginning of the session to get a sense of the issues I hoped to address during the rolfing, and had me walk around and stand facing different directions to get a sense of my alignment and body structure. Then she went to work! The session was the right combination of relaxation, education and interactive participation, and she made sure to spend time working on my whole body while still giving extra time to the most troublesome areas. She has a strong touch so I made sure to breathe into the area she was working on, but she never went beyond my comfort level in terms of pressure. She also recommended some stretches to keep my hamstrings loose. After the session I felt more balanced, a little taller and more solid in my lower back which was one of the areas that was aching. She worked on my mom as well and did wonders for her knee! I would definitely recommend her! read more

Ali, Thanks for great service in Maui! My husband and I really loved your massages and we will see you when we travel back to Maui. read more

Ali is a gifted healer. I came to her with lifelong scoliosis and resulting imbalances that weighed on me both physically and mentally. I did her 10 session Rolfing program, and immediately after the first session I felt a world's of a difference. I was shocked to know what I could feel like with so much tension released and how I could go about my day without thinking about my scoliosis in the way I had before. Rolfing was something new to me (and might not be for everyone), but Ali helps you understand exactly how Rolfing works and makes sure you're first comfortable with each practice. Over the course of our sessions Ali provided a holistic approach to healing mind, body, and spirit. She has an eye for where your ailments manifest, even when they're not obvious, and she notices in great detail where your imbalances are, and how to individualize each session to address them. Even when I had a leg injury in the midst of our program, she gave me some helpful remedies and adjusted the program accordingly. I can't thank her enough and can't say enough positive things about her practice. She's an amazing person and delivers great quality, service, and results! read more

Alison Grable and Ida Rolf changed my life! Alison is a gifted healer and practitioner of Ida Rolf's structural Integration method. I went through the series of ten sessions with Ali and I was able to move and exercise again for the first time in 18 years. Ali inspired me to start a daily yoga practice and gently supported me to a better healthier lifestyle. The change was so noticeable my husband also went through the ten sessions with Ali. So did several of my friends who were inspired by my change and Ali's gifted body work. Her massage and herbal knowledge is also very impressive. A lot of people think Rolfing is painful and it can have it's moments but Ali worked carefully with me I was able to do the work and receive the benefits even though I had suffered from fibromyalgia for eighteen years. My fibromyalgia is almost a thing of the past and I feel better then I did twenty five years ago. I was able to lose weight just by not hurting all the time and being able to move! Mahalo Ali for changing my life I can't recommend you and your work highly enough! read more

Ali is great! She is passionately gifted in the healing arts. She walks her talk to be able to fully show up for someone else's process. I loved working with her for the full 10 series of Ida Rolf's Structural Integration. Honestly, I never thought I would go for this work because I wasn't in physical discomfort and didn't want to be as I had heard Rolfing could be rough. After consulting with Ali over my health and spiritual goals, I decided to go for it. It was a powerful transformation aligning my mind body spirit to optimize my potential. Ali's talented hands were coaxing & persuasive minimizing what may have been painful done by someone else. Another thing that stood out is how Ali really knows what she is doing. She made a comment on how the body will know what is coming in the next session. This is why I had to do the full series. I could actually feel those areas of my body asking for the next session. Awesome! Thanks Ali!!! read more

I met Ali in the last month and have been to see her twice already. Immediately she set me at ease with her warmth and empathetic nature. I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer and she took it upon herself to research deeper into what the treatment involved and how she could best help me through this experience. She never gave pity, just positivity and good, practical advice on spiritual well being and nutrition. This was all over and above the reason I was there which was simply to have a relaxing massage and de-stress. And is the reason I went back for more the week after! The advice is given in a very laid back, non intrusive way which is guided by Ali's natural intuition of her clients. I will return again and again to Ali even in full health as she is a queen masseuse to boot! I truly recommend this gifted lady. read more

After my bike injury and a major break-up, I was not only in a world of hurt both physically and emotionally, but felt "stuck" in my life and not sure what I really wanted. I wanted to have healing that not only helped right now but something that could help me move forward in the future and bring stability back into my life. After meeting with Ali before our sessions, she really listened to what I needed and wanted, and after the first rolfing session I was sure that I wanted to continue the 10 series. I have felt my heart open, more sense of groundedness, and an overall sense of openness and lengnth in my body and life. I am so happy that I did the series with Ali and highly recommend her to anybody who is looking to improve their life. read more

I received the full rolfing series from Ali a few months ago. My experience was very fulfilling in many ways. I went to Ali because I will be getting jaw surgery soon and I learned that jaw problems can stem from misalignments in other places of the body such as the hips. Each session addressed a different portion of my body, it was painful but I walked out of each session with more vitality and more awareness of my body and it's tendencies. Rolfing was a very emotional experience for me . I knew it would be, and Ali guided me with kindness and understanding . Rolfing has changed many things about my body such as my shoulders, legs, hips, back, and my face. Ever since finishing the series, people have recognized the changes in my appearance but also in my demeanor. I feel like I am in my body for the first time in a long long time. It truly has been a physical and emotional transformation. I couldn't have asked for a better person to trust with such a personal matter. Ali is a very warm and intuitive individual. She is warm and funny =), she makes the pain and the discomfort of "going there" incredibly necessary. She empowered me to have courage. I would recommend her services to anyone and everyone. read more
