I learn best with hands-on methods, so in-person classes work best for me. The classes at AIL are in-person, with the option to join virtually, if necessary. We read short stories (each about 50 pages in length), that focus on the repetition of an increasing number of words, depending on the level or grade of the book. For example: level one books have about 400 words, level 3 has 1,000 words, level 5 books have about 2,000 words. This method helps you learn these words through repetition. I am taking my third Spanish session with him and I've learned so much- I am now recognizing more vocabulary when I see it elsewhere.
